We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment which was very spacious. The gardens are lovely and plenty of opportunity to walk around the area. It was a very peaceful environment to stay. The breakfast is great and there were many choices. Also the restaurant for dinner was nice and the staff lovely.

There was not enough light in the apartment - a few more lamps would help.

Everything. It's a stunning, history filled place. After our check-out we stayed for an additional couple of hours to explore the breathtaking estate. The room was nice, the building is older and you would assume that the rooms would be old, but no, they were beautifully done, you have everything you need. The staff were also so friendly (it looks like they enjoy working in this beautiful place). We arrived late, but they had no issue waiting for us. The breakfast was very tasty and the balcony where we had it was lovely. The garden and the estate are just gorgeous. Thank you for such an experience ❤️

The location, the staff, and the hotel grounds. This hotel is in heart of Tuscany close to the town of Siena making is great hub to explore the Tuscan villages. Also sitting a bit high on the hill top the views are great. Being a 600 plus year old property it takes you back in time. It has modern touches added to it for our comfort without losing its rustic and historic feel. The grounds are well kept and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Has an apartment which was very spacious and very comfortable.

Couple of minor things. I visited in the end of December so it was cold and had very well heated apartment. Too well in fact. But I did not see any AC. That might be an issue in Summer. Secondly being such an old properly some (not all) of the apartments do not have a very convenient layout. For instance we had a three bedroom apartment with one bath. Two beds were on the second level with the bath on the first. The stair case was a narrow spiral one. But that would not deter me from staying here again. Not in winters anyways.

the views over siena and the hills from the windows are stunning. breakfast was excellent and the on-site restaurant is an amazing spot for dinner, high quality meals and very friendly staff

the apartments could use a bit of TLC, the layout is brilliant, but the lack of mosquito nets on all windows makes it difficult to open the windows in the evening. bathroom and kitchen are very clean but our taps look a little tired.

The facility is a former monastery converted into a hotel. Most parts of the facilities are in their original condition, while the rooms are of course adapted to today's times. A beautiful garden, shade under the arches, a view of the Tuscan landscape and the proximity of Siena make this facility an excellent choice for coming with your partner, a group for seminars, weddings, etc. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The breakfast is superb, for every taste. And there is also a restaurant and a bar. The peace of the monastery and the chirping of swallows complement the atmosphere. If you are looking for a place to rest and relax, meditate and read, you are in the right place.

The location is very quiet and peaceful. You feel like you have just travelled back in time. The 2 bedroom apartment that we stayed in was very spacious and clean had a great terrace downstairs/and a balcony overlooking the vinyards and olive trees upstairs There was a small kitchen equipped with a refrigerator and stove and other kitchen essentials (pots pans glasses etc). We did not need to dine in the room but if you have spesific dietary restrictions and you have to prepare or heat up your own food, the kitchen would be useful. The breakfast was adequate with several local cold cuts/cheese fresh bread and bakeries etc. We were lucky to have a few days of good weather so we ate outside with the view of a gorgeous garden but the breakfast room inside was also great. We also had one dinner at the hotel restaurant and the chefs tasting menu was delicious. We rented a car to travel arround and were able to visit several Tuscan highlights within a one hour drive The staff were amazing They were very polite and helpful.

The stairs to the room upstairs were very narrow and steep (designed for the monks after all) so keep that in mind if you have balance or mobility problems. The heating did not work on our first night but worked fine for the rest of our stay.

The perfect location away from big cities in the heart of Tuscany, that's like a dream of nature, good food and wine lovers. An ancient monastery wisely transformed into a confy hotel brings you in the very nature of Italian definition of pure sensation of discovering Tuscany. The restaurant offers you excelent food, wines and best service.

Maybe a better maintenance of the rooms would be recommanded, as the draining of shower cabin, fans which dont work (there's no AC, which gives authenticity of the place but it's hard during hot nights of summers).

We absolutely loved this place. This hotel is one of the most unique I have stayed in. The views from the apartment windows and the two balconies are breathtakingly beautiful. We even had our own little private garden with a fig-tree and overlooking to a wineyard just behind the hotel. If there take a look around in the area and I promise you won’t regret it. There are wineyards and olive groves everythere. Hotel also has a very beautiful garden and you can enjoy a good breakfast overlooking it. There was a restaurant on site that offered a good menu and is very convinient if travelling with children and don’t want to go far for dinner. The staff are very kind and friendly at the reception and also at the restaurant.

Everything was great. The only little thing to know is that in two-floors apartment the toilet is only downstairs, but considering that it is built in an old convent, it is understandable.

The staff had messed up the room we had ordered, but they upgraded in moment to another bigger room. Breakafast was good compared with italian standard of breakfast, Location is very good, 15 minutes by car to Siena. Don't forget to see a marvel piece of art inside the complex.

The shower was very small. The breakfast needs to have more fresh foods that in italy you find easily.

Everything … Go there for an escape from the modern day hustle and bustle. Soaked in history, gardens from an age we would love at times to go back too.. So, why not, visit. Breakfast was like everything else, excellent! Loved the houses own honey. This comes from a bee keepers son. 💪 The staff are fantastic, professional but on point blend with personality. The bar man was a star .. Cocktails, on point and pleasantly affordable, well done the management on costing affordability with such a lovely hotel complex.
