Quiet and peaceful with a lovely internal courtyard for relaxing. We had a west-facing room that opened onto rural views and it was delightful. The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and we could order eggs-any-way. We also asked for a takeout breakfast on our last day as we were leaving very early and this was no problem. We were grateful for the aircon and ran it 24/7 😄

There was nothing to dislike about the property. We were on foot so had no issues with cars/parking.

The rooms were sterilised with an awful smelling product that stayed in the room for 2 days, smelling like a very sweet plug in air diffuser, which was very difficult to ignore once it was up your nose. I've since noted that other guests have also complained about this. I understand ( and appreciate) that rooms need to be cleaned but most hotels do it with a non smelling product.... please change your stereliser!

Delightful old property, away from the hustle and bustle of Siena but close enough to walk. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. What really made me love it, however, was the huge window and spectacular view over Tuscany to the south of the city. Breakfast was good, in a high ceilinged old Hall. Overall, a good experience. A definite shout out for Reception, who were really helpful with changed travel plans.

Nothing, but just a mention that more might have been made of the cloister garden. Which looks like a nice space to hang out in.

The location was great, the breakfast too including the scrambled eggs and the nice cappuccino. The room was cosy and warm. The fresco in the entrance and in the breakfast area were very "Siena"!

The shower was old fashioned so I had to use a shower cup if I didn't want to wash my hair. The wardrobe was old and the wooden material did a strange sound during the night. Every night we were made to open the wardrobe doors so that the sound would stop.

Room was big! View from the window amazing (you could see the land of Tuscany)! Location of the hotel perfect. You could park outside of the historical city where there is free parking spot and within 5 min walk you could reach the hotel. Hotel is locating in a quiet area inside the historical center and you can see all hot spots in a max distance of 5 min on foot. The hotel stuff was EXTREMELY friendly and they were trying to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I asked them also to book for us a table for 2 and they were trying for hours to reach the restaurant by phone!

Room needs renovation asap! Also bathroom looks old and not clean - even it was… the money we have paid was much more than the real value of the hotel.

Beautiful historic building with wonderful views.

We arrived too early to check in and were able to leave our luggage at the very helpful front desk. Matteo was a charming young man that was always so eager to help us and had the nicest smile on his face at all times! Our room was large with really high ceilings and we had a few steps leading up to an outdoor patio from our room. The bed was SO comfortable and everything was very clean. The bathroom was really large with a massive tub/shower. The breakfast that was included was so amazing, I got used to eggs and bacon and 2 delicious chocolate croissants each morning! Many delicious items to choose from. Unfortunately my husband had become very sick so after 3 days, we needed to fly home. We were so dissapointed we didn't get to stay our full week in this beautiful hotel. We had to leave at 4:30 am to catch a train and Matteo left us each a goody bag for our travels, and wished us well. Thank you Matteo and the other staff there for helping make our stay so memorable! Elena at the reception was great and very helpful with all our questions and concers regarding travelling by car through the LTZone inside Siena‘s gates. 5* Personal at the Reception. Thank you, Elena! Very nice view over the hills of Toscany. Breakfast was rich and variated.

The Information on booking regarding the way to the hotel by car and the parking place came one day later after we checked out. So that we had some stress driving up and down the streets of Siena to find the hotel. Parking is 15e/day extra to pay.

The bed sheet is so so so comfortable, soft and silky. Omg I love it! The yard is beautiful and lovely, location is not far from everywhere, room size is fairly large. View from room is so Tuscany. A beautiful and comfortable place to stay.

1. The breakfast is indeed quite bland. 2. And there are no bath robes neither slippers. 3. Bathroom door is quite weird, very hard to open & close. 4. No full body mirror.

I had a beautiful room with a view over the roof tops of Siena. There was one male receptionist who was absolutely helpful and so genuinely kind - he recommended a restaurant, tried to make a reservation and when the heavens opened loaned me his own umbrella.

Sadly we were greeted by the most unwelcoming of receptionists - it made the trip start badly and is especially sad as her colleagues were so helpful. It is an old building and if you’re travelling with large suitcases be wary of flights of stairs. There was a “sad feeling” to the hotel which is difficult to describe and I don’t think I would return if I were to visit Siena again.
