We've stayed at several hotels/guest houses on our recent trip to Italy and this place exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious with a very comfortable king size bed. Not only breakfast was provided (which is uncommon nowadays) but it was amazing! Ranging from fresh fruit, freshly baked pastries, juices, cereal and freshly made coffee, packaged snacks were also available throughout the day in the kitchen, in case you needed to have a bite. Location is unbeatable - 3 mints away by foot from the main square. Highly recommend this place. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating!

This property was super clean and spacious. The staff was very nice and gave us clear instructions on how to get into the ztl zone (no cars allowed) for drop off of our luggages. We were able to drop off our luggages prior to check in which allowed us to roam around freely. Thwy had great communication via WhatsApp. Its steps away from the main center is Siena and there are many souvenir shops and restaurants around. We felt super safe and at home throughout our stay not only in the property but also in the city center. Breakfast was nothing special but good enough.

The ztl zone was a little annoying but they accommodate

The location in general is of course the main argument for this B&B, it’s very near to the main Piazza, but still very calm compared to the other adjacent streets. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room itself was spacious and comfortable , because of the L-form also with enough privacy. A good mirror and light in the bathroom, which is also not that usual. Very good breakfast.

The TV was a little bit outdated and small.

What a location - 90m from Il Campo ... wow!

There was street noise at night time - this surprised me because the street was quiet during the day. But to be so close to the Campo ... seriously, who cares about some noise!!

The room was large and comfy, great air con and hot water. The breakfast was basic but nice and a coffee machine we could use freely throughout the stay.

The noise from the square was sometimes quite oiud during the afternoons, lots of drumming etc if you wanted an afternoon to relax it was difficult but in a central location it's expected.

Very comfortable room overlooking Piazza del Mercato. Very clean. Good air conditioning. Straightforward self-service breakfast. I had been here before so I knew that it would be good. Most of all, the location is less than 100m from Il Campo ... the heart of Siena. What more could you want?

This is a fantastic find in Sienna. The host is most welcoming and very professional. She goes beyond any other host we've encountered. The rooms were comfy and quiet, plus the breakfast is great. As for the location, we are close to everything and walked around the sites. Very close to the grand piazza plus Duome. As a bonus the restaurant downstairs is associated and the food is amazing. Highly recommend this B&B

Can't falt this place, they are so welcoming

The location was incredible. You could see Piazza del Mercato and the top of Torre del Mangia from the window, and it was just a minute walk to Piazza del Campo. The host was very communicative, sent us detailed instructions about the parking. We also received a QR code for a parking discount, which was easy to use. The breakfast was good, and we were in awe of the lady who had to coordinate which room was having it at what time, with groups of people changing their time last moment. She did a great job. We had one dinner at La Finestra, the restaurant owned by the same person as the B&B. It was very good and the discount was appreciated. The internet worked great.

Room a bit small for 4 people. Also, this was not the staff's fault, but they were unable to get us a taxi to the train station in the rain, apparently taxis don't run in the rain. We walked half an hour, only to miss the train anyway. Just leaving this here for other travelers to plan accordingly.

Central yet quiet location with a stunning view of the Torre del Mangia. Countless restaurants within a few minutes walking time. All of the staff are very kind and helpful. The parking lot „Il Campo“ is also quite close. All in all, I highly recommend staying at „Al Mercato“ if you are planning a visti to Siena.

Everything was perfect! General reminder for Siena, the old town is a limited access zone for cars. Use one of the many parking lots at the entrance to the old town.

The location was perfect. The room was spacious and with period features. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was just what we needed. I recommend the owner's restaurant and the waiter's recommendation from the menu.

Internal bathroom so hard to ventilate. We knew the bathroom was separate but private. This was not an issue as no other guest rooms on our floor.
