The staff we absolutely lovely and so helpful. A warm personal welcome and no key box or codes. We were meant to be travelling during the national strike and the staff at the hotel could not have been helpful, knowledgeable or responsive regarding transportation. They offered to keep a room for us should we be unavailable to travel which reduced the stress of our situation greatly. So much of life now is transactional. Businesses just want the money and to turn over guests quickly. This place is the antithesis of this offering a real human touch and time to spare for conversation with guests. Location is fantastic if you want to be right in the historic centre of town and the room and bathroom were beautiful too.

This was a weekend one night trip to visit Siena, using a touristic train program from Roma to Siena on Saturday and return on Sunday. The staff was very nice, helpful and accommodating. The location to visit Siena is excellent, it's at the heart of the old town. The decor is wonderful, it's a renovated apartment in an old building, with a few rooms. Very comfortable, with good acoustic isolation.

Coming from the train station, it's a bit far. But, if you don't carry heavy stuff it's a nice 30 minute walk from the station. If you carry heavy stuff it's better to get a cab, but you'll have to wait for its availability and it doesn't leave you at the door, as expected in this location at a town like Siena.

Excellent location for the sights of Siena. The property is situated very close to the Piazza del Campo and the Duomo. Ada was extremely helpful. She guided us to the property, carried a suitcase up the stairs and arranged a taxi for us on our day of leaving. It was nice to have water bottles in the room and access to the coffee machine in the communal area. Siena is a wonderful city to visit.

This place was well situated in the centre of Siena, in a quiet, peaceful street. The room and bathroom was lovely and had all the amenities like a mini fridge, hairdryer, body wash etc. We stayed 3 nights and was absolutely wonderful. We also had such a friendly welcome when we arrived and Ada the receptionist was extremely helpful throughout our stay. When we had difficulty organising taxi's to a castle nearby that we were attending a 2 day wedding event, she went over and beyond to help us out, nothing seemed too much trouble. We were very grateful to her; even one night we got the wrong room as we were on the wrong floor, she saw the funny side of it!

This is a perfect boutique guest house right in the heart of Siena! The residence is in a beautiful old building, and our room had an incredible mural over the walls and ceiling. It really added to the Italian experience! Comfortable bed, great bathroom, and great shutters on the windows which blocked out sound and light. Ada was a wonderful host - she helped us find great restaurants, panini bars and gelato. She also gave us great recommendations on the best sites to visit during our short 2 nights in Siena.

The location is excellent! We met Massimo and Ada, two staff members that are exceptional. Massimo gave us a map and pointed us to places of interest and places to eat for our stay and all the information was great. The room was great. Everything we needed. The shower was fabulous. Beds were comfy. Can't wait to go back and explore more of Siena and I will definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect. Just steps away from all the main attractions. Ada was very helpful providing all the information such as what to eat and things to see. The fresco in the room is very special.

Unfortunately the hot water in our bathroom was broken during our stay. It was hot in the beginning and soon went cold and cannot go warm again quickly even when I shut and open it again. I understand it was not Ada’s fault and she was always trying to help but it was too late at night so she could not call the assistant to help. We end up having a very quick bath. Hope the hot water gets fixed soon.

Location in Siena is ideal, right in heart of city. Room was clean and larger than expected. Very clean. Ada, the property point of contact, was responsive, attentive, and very cheerful. She went way above and beyond to ensure we made our wine tasting and winery tour. Hers was the best reception in our 4 Italian cities. Can't say enough about her support.

Nothing. Room was perfect and with Ada's help, Siena became our favorite stay in Italy.

Close to everything

No elevator on we were on 2nd floor but really the third floor, small shower hard to get in and out of and nowhere to put luggage other then floor needed table or luggage racks also, needed more hooks to hang towels other then that it was alright.
