Great location, nice comfortable room great view.

We stayed for 2 nights, in the two bedroom Room at the front of the property over-looking the Cathedral. The first night at about 4.00am, we were woken-up by the restaurant’s emptying their bottles, which seem to echo throughout the square. The second night at 6.00am was woken-up by dustbin Lorry’s and cleaners, that seem to be cleaning the stairs outside the property. Take some ear-plugs the noise is terrible. The breakfast is not worth adding, continental and a poor choice of any food.

The location was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the cafe just across from the hotel was varied and delicious. Great way to start the day! Very quiet at night so easy to sleep. Comfortable bed. Patricia went above and beyond providing me great recommendations and service. A restaurant recommendation resulted in possibly my best meal in Italy this trip. She helped me get a taxi and made sure that it came and that I made it to the train station on time. So very much appreciated!

The location is absolutely fantastic. The staff is superb, the room incredible. We cannot believe this is a 2 star rated hotel. It is far superior. There are two things not to miss while staying here; the wine tasting which is led by a Level 3 WSET and deeply educated expert. Also take advantage of the Leonardo parking offer. It is worth every penny if you have luggage, mobility, stress, or any issue and you like convenience. It is a challenge to drive and park in Sienna. This is the best service by far.

Location was perfect for walking in Siena. The room was large and comfortable with a beautiful view. I had a sinus infection when I arrived and the staff was very helpful in contacting the Farmacia so that I could get the prescription filled for the antibiotic that my Dr. in the US wanted me to take. I am beyond appreciative. All of our interactions with the hotel staff were wonderful.

The pillows are very hard and flat!

Everything. Communication from the hotel even before we arrived was stellar - it was a truly complete hospitality experience. Once we arrived, the room was airy, light, comfortable and spotless, the bathroom impressively so. Very beautiful interiors, the location is to die for, the cafe opposite the hotel which provides breakfast also offers lunch and is a lovely spot from which to people watch and the staff are very friendly. Rita, Andrea and Patricia were all fantastic, helping us negotiate transport, book activities and organise everything from wine tasting to taxis to taking a tour of the aqueduct. I sincerely hope we get to go back one day.

Nothing really! The spiral staircase in our room was a bit of a hazard being at face height but nothing that couldn't be avoided.

Great value for the location and staying in the historic building. Very central location where this charming hotel in the heart of the historical area; is just right behind the Sienna Cathedral and in a few minutes walk to Piazza del Campo. You can pretty much walk to everywhere to explore this hidden gem, a historic and beautiful city. The terrace on one of their Suite room was a bonus to enjoy the city view.

The location is ideal for a city centre stay in Siena, the breakfast area was across the plaza from the hotel which was an additional treat and a great place for "people watching". Our Host Marco was tremendously helpful and a mine of information. The parking arrangement with Valet Leonardo, with the drop off and collection was a brilliant addition to our short stay in the city.

The location was perfect! The staff were wonderful. Shout out to Rita! The room was designed beautifully for the small space but the authenticity of the building makes up for a small room. The breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed a wine tasting which was exceptional. If you are going to Siena, this accommodation is a a great choice.

The location is amazing. The staff could not be better or more welcoming. Special mention to Rita!!! We went when the Strade Bianche was on and the atmosphere was amazing. The hotel is lovely and I will definitely return.

I liked everything, but could it be an option to have breakfast in the amazing cafe across from the hotel?

The location was superb. Hotel Staff friendly and helpful with excellent English language skills which was appreciated. Breakfast in front of the hotel and the duomo was lovely.

There was one staff member at the bar/cafe/breakfast place who was consistently rude to us and other patrons over the 6 days of her stay. This needs to be addressed.
