The hotel is at the heart of Siena, super convenient to all popular attractions in the town. It is decorated with mid-century style just like the city and offers very unique experience. From the window, you can see the lively streets while enjoying an espresso. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. More importantly, our host Ada was extremely friendly and helpful. She welcomed us with hospitality and recommended great local attractions and restaurants! We went to 2 places for lunch and dinner and both turned out fantastic! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience staying here!

Our host Ada made our one night stay in Sienna a fabulous experience. She helped us with restaurant recommendations and general information for the area. She was always at the end of the phone to help with any queries and when we were leaving she walked us to the taxi rank to make sure we got to the bus station on time. The location was superb and though we were right in the centre of Siena the room was quiet. We would highly recommend B&B Le Aquile to anyone visiting Siena

The location of the B&B is located in the heart of Siena, Andrea greeted us and made our checking go so smoothly. She was concerned with us having all we needed to be comfortable. We had the great luck of getting to meet Massimo and speak with him the morning of our check out. He took the time to explain to us about the history of the property and he also gave is a tour of the room he was renovating and during the process a 400 year old fresco was discovered wall papered over. Massimo was so kind and attentive to making sure we enjoyed our stay.

The B&B was sited on a minor pedestrian street in the centre of Siena just a few minutes walk from Piazza del Campo with its many restaurants, museums etc. It was also close to the Duomo, the main shopping street and other attractions. The host Ada was very welcoming and was keen to provide advice on restaurants, transport, attractions and to ensure that we had what was needed during our stay. The room was comfortably large and provided a comfortable bed, sufficient storage, good bathroom, fast wi-fi. we also had access to a refrigerator. Everywhere was kept well cleaned. During our stay we were really made to feel at home by Ada and the mature gentleman who assisted her - he provided us with lots of interesting information particularly about the interesting museum on the square in front of the Duomo. They were both friendly, helpful and welcoming without being intrusive. The building is very old and has lots of character, even the ceiling is interesting. When it was time to leave Siena Ada was very helpful and showed us the way to the best place to get a taxi, helped with our luggage on the way and then ordered a taxi for us. She definitely went above and beyond, we were sorry to be leaving.

The girl welcoming us was extremely nice and always smiling, she gave us many advices to enjoy Siena! The communication was also super clear and helpful (the city doesn't allow the entrance of cars and we received clear instructions on where to leave the car and how to get to the building by public transport). The place has the charm of the ancient so you literally sleep in a traditional Tuscan building in the heart of the city, it was amazing to have everything walking distance.

Not the hotel's fault but since cars can't enter the city center, it took us almost one hour to find the suggested parking lot plus waiting for the bus getting us closer to the center. Consider this in your timings and also to have in mind if you are traveling with family (children and/or people with reduced movility). Also less convenient if you are traveling with big lugagge (in our case, we had to improvise a back pack last minute when we realized the distance between the parking lot and the hotel, despite taking the bus). The shower is a little bit tiny but not a big deal either. Advicing other guests to shut doors quietly could be very much appreciated since in the morning there could be a lot of noise from other's rooms doors being shut since very early.

First of all, the location of the hotel is outstanding. You are right in the heart of Siena. The rooms reflect the historical atmosphere. There’s a pleasant surprise waiting for you in the rooms on the upper floor. A clean and comfortable place. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Ada, who took great care of us. I definitely recommend it.f

A little noisy in the evening from the nearby restaurant's kitchen but silent after closing hours. The inner courtyards are connected. On the other hand, it's a typical city background ambience. Romantic if you will.

What a great location. We only spent one night with Ada but it would have been easy to stay a few days with her. We were able to drop off our luggage while we went out exploring and everything was in our room when we returned. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Ada was amazing! She was so helpful with tips, recommendations and directions. She even walked us down to the taxi stand!

It is a beautiful, charming place to stay in the heart of Siena, so in a perfect location to explore the city and all its main sights. The room was comfortable and spacious with everything we needed for our stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, letting us know all the important sights that are a must visit and gave us plenty of good restaurant recommendations. We would certainly stay here again.

The location is perfect. Just steps away from all the main attractions. Ada was very helpful providing all the information such as what to eat and things to see. The fresco in the room is very special.

Unfortunately the hot water in our bathroom was broken during my stay. It was hot in the beginning and soon went cold and cannot go warm again quickly even when I shut and open it again. I end up having a very quick bath. Hope the hot water gets fixed soon.
