The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the city center of Siena, just near the Piazza del Campo and in walking distance to all the other places of interest vor tourists. Price-value is very good, the room and the bathroom were impacable clean. We stayed here during our Via Francigena pilgrimage and enjoyed the stay. Small remark: the hotel is on the 5th floor, so for people with disabilities it may not be the best option, but every one else we recommend to not be scared by the staires. Walking up was well worth the effort.

Very clean, neutral white decor, lovely Tuscan ceiling with wooden beams, very nice balcony with little sofa, central location, effective and silent AC, nice bed linen, comfortable bed, small silent fridge, good lighting, quiet street off one of the main streets in Siena, friendly receptionist. Great value for money.

Minor cons: the hotel is on the top floor of what seems to be a residential building and there is no lift. Not practical if you have heavy luggage. Checkout is a bit early (10 am).

Located in the heart of Siena, which was fantastic. Room with the view, spacey bathroom, everything so new and clean! Great and freindly stuff.

the only thing that we didn't like was the fact that the hotel is on the 4th floor, without elevator, and we had big bags, so it was super hard to come up. We know it is the old building, but we suggest people from hotel to hire a person who can help with bags. :)

Good sized modern style air-conditioned room with a clear view of the Campanille. very clean, with a fridge, comfy bed and free tea and coffee in reception along with a chilled water fountain. Very central - less than 5 minutes walk to the Piazza. The staff (the owners?) were very helpful and friendly and spoke good English.

It's a lot of steps (around 70) from the street up to to the reception area and to the rooms. There is no lift (as you would expect in a very old building), so it was a 'good' workout getting 4 heavy suitcases from the taxi up to the reception area in 35C heat. But that's the price you pay for being in an old building in the heart of Siena I suppose!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The reception team was incredibly welcoming and professional, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. The cleanliness of the rooms and facilities was impeccable, and the overall atmosphere was very comfortable. The staff’s hospitality and attention to detail truly made my experience exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for top-notch service and a great stay!

The owners were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the Campo and the Duomo. The room was very quiet, the bed comfortable and the bathroom had a large walk in shower with lots of hot water and pressure. Everything was very clean. It was very quiet at night. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The only downside we found was the stairs up to the hotel. To be fair, they did say they were at the top of the building and there was no elevator. It is 5 floors up. When we booked, we were expecting to go up the stairs, but not so many. After a day of travelling, we were more tired than we expected to be. We were travelling light with only a small day pack each and 1 roller carryon, but it was a struggle for us. (We are 71 and 74). And after a day of walking up to the top of the Duomo and up and down the city, the idea of going up 5 more flights to get to our room was a little daunting. :) For younger people it won't be a problem.

One of the cleanest places that I’ve stayed so far - which I really appreciate! The host was also very kind. Reception is open most of the day, there’s water and coffee available. The room was silent, bed was comfortable. All new, white, and clean - loved it!

I didn’t have a problem with the amount of stairs but if you have a big suitcase or difficulties with that, you must know that there’s no lift.

I think the "Albergo" was renovated not so long ago. It is well located. Everything is fresh and clean. I had a nice view from my window and plenty of space in my sleeping- and bathroom. Staff was really friendly. You have free water, coffee and tea. I would stay here again.

Nothing really serious and nothing that would make me stay away from the Albergo, and I know they offer this for free, but they could decalify the waterboiler in the hall. Just an advices, nothing negative, but some might need to know, that there is no elevator up to the 4th floor and the Albergo doesn't serve breakfast. But there are plenty cafés around, so no worries.

Staff was very friendly, rooms were very clean. The location is great. Easy to walk around.

You have to walk up a big hill from the public parking lot ( there is a fee). When you think you are done your mountain hike with your luggage, you then have to climb up to the top floor to get to your rooms. They have a winch on the top floor to lift up the laundry and other goods to the top floor. Would not recommend for anyone that is not in shape.

Couldn’t ask for a better location. Everything in the room worked well. The couple working the reception were nice and welcoming.

It’s on the 4th floor with no elevator. I’m bike touring down the length of Italy and had to carry my loaded bike up there. I was grateful that they allowed me to have my bike in my room, though. A lot of places won’t allow that.
