The hotel is lying on the top of the hill with gorgeous views and a sunset do die for! There are outdoor seating groups facing all directions from this hotel. The pool was clean and of perfect size. But the very best thing about this place is the people, all the way from the receptionist, the ladies handling the amazing breakfast, the most attentive and pleasant waiters and the chefs which cooks some of the greatest food of Italy! We could recommend this place enough, we will come back. 5 days was not enough, but I think we would have that feeling no matter how many days we would have spent here.

We had a warm welcome, the staff was really friendly. Our room was small, but cozy and welcoming - we enjoyed it a lot. Bed was comfortable, a/c was working fine. Room was mostly quiet, we had no problems with noises. Pool area is really nice and viewes are incredible. The hotel's territory is beautifully done, you can relax on the terrace or in the bar area. They have a bar and a restaurant. Food was amazing, we were pleased with dinner. The breakfast was on the pricier side, but it was worth it - good selection of cold cuts, cheeses, salmon, eggs, fruits and sweets. Overall we are more than happy with our stay at the hotel.

Water is leaking from the shower on the floor and can spread in the room too.

We stayed at Hotel Belvedere in Chianti as the perfect stop on our journey from Pisa to Rome, and it exceeded all expectations. The location is breathtaking—rolling vineyards, serene countryside, and the most beautiful sunsets from the terrace. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the restaurant while soaking up the surrounding views, and it felt truly magical. Breakfast was plentiful and enjoyed on the terrace too! The pool was spotless and inviting—perfect for relaxing after sightseeing. The whole setting is peaceful, romantic, and very authentic Tuscany. We honestly didn’t want to leave and will definitely stay longer next time. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to slow down and savour the beauty of the Chianti region!

I found this place 5 years ago driving through the area. The hotel and grounds were breathtaking just driving by. I wrote the name of it in my iPhone notes hoping someday I would be back in the area and could stay there. Belvedere did not disappoint. The before arrival communication was top notch. They arranged for early arrival, cooking class and dinner reservations. The unique rooms and grounds are absolutely magical. We could have stayed here our entire trip and would have not regretted it. The STAFF…. absolutely amazing. The welcome charm went throughout the day. I highly recommend the cooking class. We learned and laughed and ate. We were entertained from start to finish. Then it was our turn to entertain our host staff. Tom, a magician, went to work! They were amazed and stunned and laughed so hard we all laughed. We felt like family in just 1 day. Thank you for the amazing stay and memories. We will return and not worry about any sights, we will just relax and enjoy.

The setting of Hotel Belvedere is stunning, no matter where you sit, stand or walk. Private parking on the lot below the pool was easy for wheeling luggage and parking. The Restaurant was very good with a set menu. The wait staff were friendly and courteous. The breakfast area was nice and featured fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, Croissants, etc. The pool area was enjoyable for relaxing and Cocktails.

We had a first floor room and when new groups came in above us, they were very loud opening and closing doors and moving furniture. Perhaps reminding or posting a reminder of courtesy would alleviate the situation.

This is a very special hotel with a great setting. The views of the countryside are incroyable. The reception was great. Nadia showed us our room and arranged for dinner at the hotel. Our room was large, very clean, bed comfortable, the AC and internet were excellent. The pool was great and very clean. The restaurant was excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We hated to leave and we will definitely return.

It was a beautiful setting. The facility was clean and the staff was awesome! The meal we had was absolutely delightful!

My ceiling fan in the room was not functioning, and it never did get fixed. The temperatures were hot, but we did have air conditioning. We paid for a room with a view, and unfortunately our room view was greatly hindered by an HVAC unit and a full grown tree. It the view was still nice, but not what I anticipated. In summary it is a wonderful place, but not sure the cost of the room was fully justified- but everyone has a different tolerance level for cost

A gorgeous boutique hotel just north of Sienna, with wonderful staff, a relaxing pool scene, and fantastic breakfast & dinner. We loved every detail about this charming little spot. We spent 5 nights here and visited Florence, Sienna, Radda and Greve, among others. This hotel is in a great location to access all of Tuscany’s gems, while feeling quiet and removed, in its own pocket of paradise. Breakfasts were full of quality food and lots of choice. Even a glass of bubbly rose to wash it down. Dinners on the sunset terrace were very beautiful and full of tasty menu choices. So many wonderful memories made here, thank you!!

Best staff. They were all super helpful and friendly. They even tried teaching me a little bit of Italian so I could order my taxi at 5am (because the front desk is closed at that time). Very relaxing time. We got a free mini wine tasting. The restaurant was excellent as well. The truffle ravioli is a must. Thank you to each staff member. All were very attentive and ready to help with whatever!

All of Tuscany requires a car to get around. We didn't have one.

Good location within Chianti for exploring the local sights. The restaurant is handy for evening meals meaning you don’t have to travel further afield for eating in the evening. Having the pool area is great for relaxing at the end of a hot day or if you have a day off from exploring. The location is elevated giving a great view across the Tuscan hills.

Overall this is a lovely place to stay. Only small points would be the restaurant menu wasn’t very ‘adventurous’ if you are looking for a fully local selection but this may be to ensure that the clientele is catered for. Also, the room was on a main road so a bit of road traffic noise.
