Location was good, as close proximity to drive out to many other towns. It was so peaceful! Almost tranquil! Walk over to the hotel opposite, which had a lovely restaurant and grounds to walk round. Highly recommend visiting San Gimignano (le Vecchie Mura restaurant was amazing) Siena, Florence (La giostra restaurant unbelievable), Monteriggioni. The views were amazing!! Food and drink was good. Grounds were lovely.

The pool was cold. Our room could have been a bit more modern but that’s just personal preference. Wished the shuttle bus had run in the evening. It stopped at 4pm which led to my husband having to drive, meaning he couldn’t drink.

The hotel was very nice. The grounds were beautiful, especially the very big pool. The rooms were decent and looked after by the staff daily. The breakfast buffet was very nice but they did not have many gluten free options. The bar was really nice and the staff were friendly. The reception staff were very helpful.

The serving and clearing staff were not very friendly or that helpful. It was a 3 star hotel but the prices were too high for food and drink. Friends of mine joined for a swim, ate and drank and supported the hotel but upon leaving were hit for a 50 euro charge which was not mentioned on their arrival.

Loved this hotel from the minute we arrived. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was sensational and the grounds and pool area were a treat. After traveling for 5 weeks it was an amazing place just to catch our breath. Also so close to San Gimignano which was incredible. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

We chose a standard double which my only issue was the toilet was wedged facing the shower screen making it difficult to get to. If I was 6ft tall then this would be a real problem!

Amazing villa with a true Tuscan feel. Everything they advertised and more. Pool area is amazing, with a big bright and inviting pool. Lovely common areas and a breakfast that is next level!

Nothing I did not like. One should note that transport between any place around San Gimignano into town is limited and expensive, and the accommodation shuttle only run till afternoon, so coming back from SG to the accommodation is a costly taxi (EUR 35 for 5 km!)

Situated just outside San Gimignano but still convenient for visiting the village, and the hotel laid on a free shuttle bus to avoid the busy car parking areas for those visitors who did not want to drive. The hotel was in its own substantial grounds surrounded by hills and greenery, so a real haven of peace to arrive at after a day of driving.Spacious and well fitted rooms with comfortable beds, and whilst the hotel was busy there was no obvious noise from adjacent rooms or people passing by in the corridors

The buffet breakfast was substantial, varied and catered to all tastes and nationalities.A minor criticism is that the croissants and viennoiseries were rather leaden compared to what we had eaten elsewhere in Italy, which surprised us as the hotel made a point of emphasising the skills of the chef and his team in producing home made food from locally sourced produce.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in August as part of our honeymoon. We had a lovely time at this hotel. The location was perfect for exploring the town of San Gimignano and only an hour drive to Florence which I would highly recommend! The food was lovely from the breakfast to the bar menu and especially the evening meal we booked at the hotel. We would both happily stay here again.

The only issue we had was that our room faced the dining area outside which woke us up on the first time as guests were quite loud after 10pm but the other two nights weren’t a problem.

After touring around Italy, Venice, Rome and Florence we stayed at the Hotel & Restaurant Casolare Le Terre Rosse for some much needed down time. The pool and grounds were fabulous and the staff were great. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had some bar meals during the day, both were very good and a fair price. We treated ourselves to the 'Tasting Menu' one evening with the matched wines and it was great we would definitely recommend.

Although there was breakfast included which was superb it would have been nice to have had a kettle and Tea and Coffee in the room, or to be able to grab this from the lobby during the day for free.

The hotel is in a fantastic location with close proximity to San Gimignano. The hotel is very clean and has great surroundings. The pool was very clean and the staff are very friendly.

There was nothing not to like and would visit the hotel again.

The receptionists were very nice and vey helpful in guiding local attractions. We arrived at around 20:30, and we had a very pleasant dinner in the restaurant. The foods were perfectly prepared, definitively deserve a 10/10! It was the first night for us staying in the Tuscany region. The room was not extremely large, but big enough and cozy for a good stay. Everything including the bathroom were clean and well equipped. We really appreciated the countryside atmosphere of the Hotel. The breakfast next morning was also great: Nice coffee, cold meat and cheese plater, cereals, juices, fresh fruits, yogurts, breads, cakes, and even a full selection of plant-based milks! (Although personally I like ordinary fresh milk better) We did not have the opportunity to take some leisure in their pool, but we did enjoyed a lunch at the bar after we've checked out. The burger we had was awesome!!

The staff is amazing!! Super kind and always very helpfull. The location is great, from the room I had a wonderful view on the olive trees. the view from the terrace and the pool over the parc was even more amazing. The hotel is a great place to visit the wonderful Tuscan region and to sit back, relax and enjoy the sun at the pool.
