When we came down the stairs for breakfast our first morning at La Cornice, the view that greeted us was nothing short of exquisite! It took my breath away and actually gave me butterflies! Even if everything else about this sweet little B&B had been mediocre (it wasn’t!) I’d stay here again. The whole experience was just so lovely. The sweet, sweet garden that allows you to sit and relax and absorb the beauty makes it hard to leave for sightseeing (and shopping) adventures. And our host, Benedetta, was great! I was concerned when I booked this stay that its location was outside the walls … but that turns out to be its biggest asset … the view of San Gimignano itself. And the walk to the town is shorter and easier than it seems … under 10 minutes (and we are old and slow).

The property is really beautiful, and we had an amazing time staying in La Cornice. We had everything we needed during our short weekend stay in this breathtaking city of San Gimignano. The location is perfect !! and is in a quiet neighbourhood, however minutes a way by foot from supermarkets, restaurants, and the amazing 5 towers in the old town of San Gimignano. Benedetta, the owner, she's the sweetest, she sent us very detailed information & and a video about how we checked ourselves in, hours before we arrived, and it was super easy. Well, we didn't see her till breakfast time the next day. Paid parking is available at the property, and we need to let them know to reserve a spot. The room is spacious with a balcony, and we had all the amenities we needed, such as extra pillows. A small fridge is also available in the room, this is a huge advantage for us, as we did quite a lot of shopping. Glasses or mugs are available in the common area for us to use, and also a fridge full of locals wine to try. And the garden ?? It's just stunning overlooking the old town ... we used to just sit while drinking wine and see the dramatic view in front of us.

It's not my downside, but it might not fit for family with small children due to stairs towards the rooms. Just fyi

The view from the breakfast area of San Gimignano and the rolling hills of olive trees and grapevines was stunning! To have breakfast each morning with that view was a highlight of the trip. Even the little street that La Cornice itself is on is charming. Great to have a parking spot for our car too. Bernadetta was an excellent host, always ready to give great recommendations. Breakfast was lovely and much better than expected for a typical B&B. Eggs and toast, yogurt with granola, fresh croissants, delicious homemade tiramisu, etc. Fantastic proximity to Sam Gimignano, maybe a 10 minute walk.

The air conditioning in the room couldn’t keep the room cool enough but in fairness, that may have been because we happened to be in Tuscany during a ridiculously hot heat wave. Also, we do like it cooler so it maybe ok for others. Couldn’t bring it lower than 22 degrees.

This is the best property we have ever stayed at. The views were incredible, like I’ve never seen before. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious and the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We had the Sophia Loren room and the bed and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was large and nice shower. We even had a nap and then enjoyed some wine on the lounge chairs overlooking the views of San Gimignano. The gardens were lovely and the birds were chirping. It was located a short 5 minute walk in to beautiful San Gimignano walled town. We had a car so we chose to pay the small fee to park close to the B&B. Benedetta, the host, was a beautiful soul who obviously has a passion for her place and for San Gimignano. This was a dream come true for us.

This is a neat little B & B that has a great view of the towers and countryside. Benedetta couldn't be any more pleasant and accommodating and her English is excellant. Everything there is high tech, from the gate to the doors and is done with codes. She uses WhatsApp to communicate with you before you arrive, but I would imagine she'd also text you if you don't have it. Breakfast is made to order which was a bonus for me.

When I book a room, my main concern is, "Is my motorcycle safe?" Her parking is off the street, and I was initially worried, but she alleviated my concern telling me that nothing happens there. She was right, this is one safe little town.

When we were about to arrive, Benedetta messaged us that she upgraded our room because another couple had decided to stay longer, so the 2 bedroom suite was available for us. What a nice surprise that our daughter could have her own room! The suite decor was gorgeous and the beds were very comfy. The breakfast out on the patio was delicious and the view of San Gimignano was breathtaking. Benedetta was the perfect hostess and she was extremely kind. She gave a great recommendation for a dinner location with a view which we enjoyed thoroughly.

Overall the location of the B&B was fantastic. It offered an excellent view of the nearby city and was only a 7 minute walk to get there. The hostess went above and beyond to ensure our stay went well. The breakfast was great with a nice view of the city from the backyard. Liked fact could use washer and dryer and able to dry clothes on the balconey

Given cost of the B&B would have thought the breakfast, washer and dryer would have been included in the price. Would not let this fact deter me from staying her again

Place was super clean with a view which can be best described as ‘postcard’ worthy. Host Benedetta is wonderful, kind and very considerate. She arranged a truly local Chianti tour for us with a local guide Bruno, who took us to beautiful smaller towns and villages which will never feature on any itinerary otherwise. Breakfast at property was great too with multiple options and Benedetta even arranged early breakfast for our early morning trips. Unforgettable experience for us, especially late evening visits to the old Sam Gimignano area after daily crowd is gone. It’s just a quick walk away from property

We absolutely loved our stay at B&B La Corniche! The location is perfect — very central with easy parking, and the views are simply stunning. The rooms were spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and well equipped for a B&B. Check-in was super easy and uncomplicated, and Benedetta, the lovely host, really goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and ensure you have everything you need. The breakfast was super good, and we would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone visiting San Gimignano. We will certainly return — such a great place!

The property will suit those who want to be out of the old town of San Gimignano. It is in a quiet location with superb views looking towards the historic centre. The views from the breakfast room and garden are amazing. We ate breakfast in the gardens both mornings and it was relaxing and enjoyable with the spectacular views. The rooms are lovely and very clean and having access to the laundry was a bonus. The breakfast was also really good with lots of choices and freshly cooked. Whilst it appears the walk to town would be a long way and hilly, it is in fact not very far at all and a lot of it is a flat walk with a gentle incline at the end. Only takes about 12 minutes. The property also has a small amount of paid parking which is great for those with a car. Most of all, our host Benedetto was amazing. She is very warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Her bubbly personality made our stay even more special. I would highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to stay there again. Wished we had longer!
