The place was truly beautiful, and the rooms where we stayed gave off a medieval, historic charm that made our stay feel warm and uniquely special. Everything was also spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location is absolutely the best you can get in San Gimignano, right in the heart of the old town. What made the stay even more enjoyable was the access to a swimming pool, just a 15-minute walk from the room, and included with the accommodation. We also had free parking for the entire stay, located very close to the city walls, a huge convenience in a place like this. San Gimignano is definitely a place worth visiting, a town where you can truly feel the soul of Tuscany.

Everything was good

Views were outstanding , breathtaking view of Tuscan countryside, and city view from another aspect of the property. Breakfast was lovely served by very nice staff. Sheets and linen top quality throughout. Very clean.

The beds were unfortunately not very comfortable, and the apartment is located up quite a few flights of stairs - around ten—so it’s something to be aware of, especially if you’re arriving with luggage or elderly. While we didn’t expect help carrying our bags, it was a bit surprising to be asked to assist with making a bed right after carrying everything upstairs with no help. It wasn’t a major issue, but it did feel a bit out of place given the timing.

The location is amazing. Just note that the Bed and Breakfast in the city is not the same as the country one. You have to call up the number and a staff member will come to check you in. They have two rooms in the city. Very nice rooms. Had everything we needed. A very impressive little town. Can be stressful getting there by bus, but it all worked out. Plus breakfast is in the square next to The worlds best gelato! Make sure you ask for clear instructions, otherwise you’ll get confused like us.

We couldn’t find the remote for the air conditioning, so got cold.

We had the best time staying here! It’s a beautiful family-run place, super clean, and the food was just incredible. Honestly, some of the best we had on our trip. What really made it special though was the people. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and Francesco was amazing,always making sure we had everything we needed and going out of his way to help. You can tell he really cares about the guests. Such a lovely experience, we’d come back in a heartbeat!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location in the center of town, overlooking the square, couldn’t have been more perfect—so convenient for exploring and absolutely beautiful. The hotel’s other location, just a short distance away, offers stunning views of the town and features amazing facilities, including a pool with breathtaking views. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of options to choose from. Overall, a fantastic experience! Highly recommend!

While we appreciated the charm of staying in a historic building in such a central location, the lack of air conditioning made for a less comfortable stay. Keeping the windows open brought in a lot of noise from the nearby restaurants in the square, which unfortunately made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. That said, we were aware of the trade-offs when booking a property in the heart of the city, and the vibrant surroundings are part of the experience.

Wonderfully friendly hosts who showed us our room within the city. Great central location, comfortable bed and really quiet at night. Went for a beautiful meal at the main house outside the city walls. Beautiful views and amazing food. Would definitely recommend to eat there when they are serving. Also met Clara the cat who we love. Easy walk back into the city (approx 20 minutes, up a few hills). Room was great, good size bathroom. Parking available all around the outside of the walls. Reasonable price for car park 1. We would definitely stay here again.

I was welcomed by the family with such kindness to pick up the keys to the apartment. They provided recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Once at the apartment, I was shown around the property and answered any questions I had. The room was very comfortable and in the perfect location. The decor was so amazing!

I would have prefered glass over plastic cups in the room. The shower handle was not able to be hung in a direction for showering but I made do.

Loved our stay right in the centre of this gorgeous medieval village. This room was spotless - you could eat off the floor. The breakfast was wonderful. Andrea met us at the property and showed us in and he was lovely. But the breakfast lady was so kind and so helpful. She didn’t speak any relish but she was so nice to us and helped with directions using the Google translate app and showed us where to leave our bags and get on the bus. I loved this place and wish we could have stayed longer.

The location is in the heart of the city. The terrace overlooking Tuscany rolling hills is so beautiful! The property and location are 10/10.

Getting to the location is a bit confusing. You will receive a message with details but after reading it a few times we were still confused about where to park in the city as reading about this town you can’t just park anywhere. The main location of this hotel is different then the apartments in the city. You go there first and then you follow their car to the apartment. When we inquired about this process we were told to just read the message already provided, “all you have to do is read”. That interaction was a strange first impression, but ultimately once we arrived the staff seemed very helpful.

The booking location is fantastic, right on a city square. The room was clean and easy to maneuver through, with plenty of space. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. They did let us store our luggage at the property while we toured the city for a few hours, we are very grateful.

We chose this property because of its location and parking. However, the parking was paid parking outside the city walls. We needed a guide to the property.
