Charming hotel with good location, nice pool and good breakfast. Rooms are a bit small, but practical, and with relatively newly redecorated bathrooms. Great staff!

Our only negative experience was related to the intense smoking from other guests. Our next door neighbours for instance, smoked so much in their balcony (half a metre from ours), that we could neither sit in our own balcony - nor leave our balcony doors open. They are probably “entitled” to smoke as long as it is technically “outdoors”, but the problem is that the smoke and the smell affects other guests.

Location , and breakfast was fabulous . Staff member Maria was very helpful and friendly.

We had a superior room for us and economy for our kids. I would recommend always getting a superior room. Super friendly staff (except for one guy) who go the extra mile. Just a few minutes walk from San Gimignano. Great breakfast. Pool is nice, but deep (not for small kids).

The hotel is still transitioning to a new owner. Organization is sometimes chaotic, which sometimes demands patience when ordering food. Rooms are outdated but clean. The economy rooms are very, very small; the bathroom is even smaller.

Lovely pool area, plenty of places to sunbath either around the pool or just to the side on the grass with the view. Very peaceful and other guests respectful and quiet. Met some nice people. Bar just near the pool and staff would bring your drinks to you by the pool if you wanted. Hotel was beautiful as was the room was very nice and clean, great shower. Balcony small but didn’t use it anyway and view from the room was nice overlooking the pool and countryside. Less than 10 min stroll into San Gimignano. Perfect stay and relaxing after a few days in Florence. Just outside the hotel there is a lovely photo spot with the towers. Staff were attentive and breakfast was great too!

We picked the hotel for its location and views and we were not disappointed I had contacted them after booking as I am gluten intolerant but they were able to help me with a very good breakfast option The view from our room was outstanding, some people would complain about the size of the room but we made do, it was worth it The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area The wait staff were great and will mention Lucia by name as really welcoming Oh and the other clients we found similar to us and we met some nice people

As I said it’s and older building so we expected smaller rooms

The property exceeded all of my expectations and was by far my best experience with any hotel. Upon arrival, the receptionist (Friday 23 May 2025) was extremely welcoming. We had a difficult journey to arrive due to a train strike and shared our negative experience to which he reassured us he’d do anything to make our stay moving forward exceptional. He made us a reservation at a restaurant that was amazing and beautiful to enjoy our getaway. The room was impeccably clean and so charming. The restaurant and bar service from breakfast to dinner and drinks was outstanding. I am in love with this hotel and wish i could live here. A huge shootout to the receptionist and every wonderful member of the staff!

the fact i can not move in to this beautiful stay

The location was perfect - just a short stroll away from the town. The staff at the hotel were all really helpful and friendly. Loved the pool - perfect for cooling off when it got really hot! The sunbeds were nice too, and plenty of space (didn't have to reserve beds etc.). Breakfast was lovely - a nice selection of pastries and savoury items.

We didn't spend an awful lot of time in the room, but it was quite small and a bit dated. The bathroom especially. The aircon didn't really do an awful lot, just blew out warm air - our last night was the hottest as the temperature had been just over 30 in the day, so wasn't the most comfortable of sleeps.

We booked this quite last minute and we felt it suited us very well for our 4 nights stay. We arrived in the evening and we were warmly welcomed by the receptions. We were also still welcomed to their restaurant for dinner even though it was about 8pm which we appreciate. We met the lovely Francesca there who is a waitress working with the bar and restaurant and she was so lovely throughout the entire stay. The food was homey and nice and we had a great bottle of red morinello! We were then served inclusive breakfast daily with a vast selection of anything you could want. I think the coffee could be a bit better but overall cannot complain. Our rooms were a little old fashioned but super clean and everything worked. The views from the restaurant is stunning and it’s just 10mins walking to centre of SG! Overall great stay and we really enjoyed it ! Thank to the whole team who was so easy and welcoming .

This hotel in the Tuscan countryside was absolutely beautiful and so charming—a perfect escape. It’s just a short walk from the stunning town of San Gimignano, which made it an ideal location for us. We were lucky to be given a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the breathtaking Tuscan landscape—such a magical view. It was my wife’s 30th birthday during our stay, and this experience made it even more special. The breakfast was amazing, with a fantastic selection of delicious options to start the day. The staff were wonderful—so warm, friendly, and full of charm. On one warm day, we enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool, which was a lovely way to relax. The only slight downside was that the room was a bit small, but it was manageable for the two of us, and we adored its rustic charm. The on-site parking was a big bonus, making it super convenient for our travels. Overall, a delightful stay that we would highly recommend and would return!

It was a beautiful property, a 5 minute walk from the walls of San G. Nice patio off the room, grounds and pool are outstanding. Breakfast was great. For the price it was decent.

The rooms are extremely tiny (maybe 8.5 x 8.5 feet). Maybe only meant for a single person. Only a double bed. Could not walk around the bed with the door to the room open. We travel with small carry on luggage and there was no room to put it away. The shower was also tiny. I’m not a big person and I couldn’t turn around without knocking the temperature dial. Couldn’t control the a/c temperature and we found it too warm at night.
