This is the most amazing B&B we have ever stayed at; the views are breathtaking and the location for a short walk into town or jump into the car to explore the Tuscan countryside were both so convenient. Francesca and her family are the most amazing hosts and the daily breakfasts were a feast of local cuisine. If you’re looking for the most amazing relaxed stay, away from the chaos of Pisa, Sienna or Florence, then this is the place for you. Visiting San Gimignano in the evenings once the bulk of the tourists have gone is the perfect way to see this city with all its charm, away from the crowds.
I have nothing bad to say about our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Francesca B&B in San Gimignano. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed—Francesca is an incredibly kind and thoughtful host. She went out of her way to recommend local attractions, nearby towns to explore, and excellent restaurants, which made our trip even more special. She was especially sweet and attentive with our daughter, which we truly appreciated as a family. The garden was absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view of the Tuscan landscape. Enjoying breakfast out there each morning was the perfect way to start the day. A special mention goes to Francesca’s mother, who prepared delicious homemade sweets that made breakfast even more memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—this B&B truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended!
That we stayed only three nights and we didn’t have the chance to do the cooking pasta experience.

This place is awesome! Everything from the service, the personal touch (Francesca is an incredible host!), the food, the room size and comfortability ... It was super clean, with lots of space to put your stuff down. And the little things - like when you come back to your room with a bottle of great Italian wine you just bought and you realize there is a bottle opener next to the glasses so you don't have to go ask for it ;) Also, you could find some nice spots to sit outside in the garden. The tasty breakfast with the view of San Gimignano is another big plus, and the town is just a 5-minute walk away (uphill, on a dusty road - but the town is well worth the walk every time you go!).

We spontaneously booked a night at the Bed and Breakfast Fienile on our road trip through Italy and were rewarded with the most beautiful place ever. Lovely, spacious and homely room, extremely comfortable bed. We adored spending time in the garden, we drank some local wine and saw the sun set over the stunning town of San Gimignano, a sure highlight in the Toscana! Breakfast was also served in the garden, can recommend getting up early to see the sunrise over the vinyard. Our highlight of the stay was the incredible host Francesca! Thank you so much for everything, we loved the recommendations for food and drink in the town, and your friendly bubbly nature really made our week. Highly reccomend a stay here ☺️
Everything was perfect!

We loved everything about the property! Francesca & Mauro were the best hosts we have come across on our travels. Location was perfect. Easy walk to town and it was always so lovely to come back here for total relaxation. Amazing views of San Gimignano. Breakfast was a delight each morning with homemade surprises each morning. Lots of wonderful walks in the countryside from the property too. If we are ever fortunate to visit this part of Italy again we would definitely stay here again.
Nothing as everything was perfect!🤩

We had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B! This location is perfect - just outside of town but still within walking distance, which made exploring San Gimignano so easy without being in the middle of the touristy center. The picturesque views of the town from the B&B garden were breathtaking. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Francesca provided many great suggestions for the area - from wineries to restaurants - which were all hits! Our room was very clean and spacious. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay while visiting San Gimignano!

The best place we stayed in our 2-week tour of Italy. The B&B is in a perfect location with on-site parking and just a 10 minute walk to the town walls. It overlooks San Gimignano and the surrounding countryside with incredible views from the garden where breakfast is served. Francesca and her father Mauro are the most enthusiastic and welcoming hosts and are a lot of fun to get to know. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. Francesca recommended a variety of restaurants to meet all budgets. We took her pasta-making class and had a great experience and lots of fun. Highly recommend!
Too short a stay!

We are more than happy to have chosen Il Fienile for our one night say in San Gimignano. The B&B was everything one can wish for - it was super clean, cozy, spaceous enough, the view was amazing and it is so close to the town itself - you can go visit it and be back in your B&B in few minutes. Most importantly, Fransesca and her family were super lovely, communicative, we felt very welcomed, cared for and got tones of good recommendations for San Gimingnano and other places in Tuscany. We enjoyed the town of course, but it was the same pleasure to just chill in our B&B, use the tables outside, chat with the host. Everything was super lovely

For me, Tuscany was better than I had dreamed of - the views, the food, the drink and the rustic medieval villages. I was looking for a peaceful B&B so that I can enjoy La Dolce Vita - sipping wine on a lazy afternoon, while looking at the magnificent views of a medieval town. And this B&B was perfect! This has one of the best views of San Gimignano, which you can enjoy while having breakfast or a drink from a very well maintained garden, thanks to Signor Mauro. And Francesca was one of the most delightful hosts I’ve ever met. She’s very enthusiastic and kind. You can spend an entire afternoon just listening to the stories about her life and her travels. And if you want to have the best food and the best gelato, listen to her suggestions! I had the best Steak of my life and I still can’t get over that - thanks to her suggestion. It’s a not flashy resort with a pool, but it was a peaceful B&B with amazing views and wonderful people. And was the highlight of my Italy trip. I’d definitely like to go back there soon enough.

The view from our room and the garden were wonderful. Francesca was a wonderful and welcoming host. She allowed to check-in early when we arrived earlier than scheduled, gave us some great tips for places to eat and visit in San Gimignano, and even gave us a ride up the steep hill into town so we could go visit! We did a pasta making class with her which was just so much fun, and we really enjoyed the hospitality. This is a great place to stay, visit San Gimignano and just relax and take in the beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside.
The entrance to town is a very steep climb up a long hill, but it wasn't a problem because someone from the B&B gave us a ride up each day, so we never had to climb it! It was super nice of them and we greatly appreciated it. Coming back it was quite easy as it was all downhill, and truly just a 5-minute walk. I mention this just in case there are visitors with mobility concerns, but it was no problem for us.
