The hotel is in a perfect location, right inside the castle walls of San Gimignano. The building itself is historic, featuring charming vintage wooden furniture with tasteful modern touches. It’s very quiet and impeccably clean. We had a great experience with the staff—everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh eggs and a variety of delicious local delicacies. Getting to the hotel is easy: just park at Parking Lot 3, take the elevator, and it’s a short 300-meter walk to the entrance.

Great location in lovely building. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice comfortable room. Great bathroom with hot powerful shower and good toiletries. Comfy bed, air conditioning worked well, water in fridge, kettle with tea and coffee. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice which you can be taken inside or out. Ear plugs provided in room but not needed as it gets quieter early evening when day trippers leave. Helpfully arranged a taxi to the station on morning of departure although this can be a difficult service to provide in San Gimignano. Would return if coming to San Gimignano again.

Small room would upgrade to larger room if returning it was ok for one night but would like more space if stopping longer.

Nice location on the main walking street through the city, but close enough to the road that you can easily drop your bags before you park a car. Breakfast was outstanding, lots of options for everyone. Hotel has other fun stuff, a bar if you want a drink and an underground storage area/cave with a well in it that you can visit. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful.

Room was a touch small with no real place to put bags other than the floor beside the bed. We found a luggage stand as we were leaving, it was tucked behind an armoire. Not sure where we would have used it though.

It was gorgeous!! Antique style perfectly fitting in with the feel of the city! Nice spacious rm and bathroom and just a few feet away for the center of town! Plus the best expresso in the city is a few steps down from the hotel! And if you need a taxi ask the hotel! They’ll send Marco to you and you will be in heaven! Best driver and nicest guy in ITALY!!!!!

Not a lot of choices for breakfast and it was expensive for what u could get. Plus if u wanted a soft drink it was a separate charge.

Absolutely stunning hotel. Beautiful renovated bathrooms. Functioning air conditioning and great location. Even had a slice of history with a basement level that went underground with a well. Definitely stay here again just for the standard of the rooms. Close to a western 4-5 star.

Not much. Was a bit tricky making our way up there in our car to offload bags but the ztl zone is not policed with cameras and the hotel has permission for guests to enter it to unload luggage. Parking was not far for fit people to walk.

Great location of property wonderful location to shopping and restaurants. Very beautiful architecture- quaint friendly people. Parking was not optimum only downside. Challenging some days finding a space and then getting luggage up- they say you could drive up but would never recommend unless to end of street

Parking situation and distance door to door

We requested a room with a view of the towers - there is only one such room so we were pleased to get that. The staff were very helpful and the included breakfast was great. We had to park a short distance away due to San Gimi being a no car zone, but it was easy to be let in to drop off our bags and pick them up at the end of our stay.

The hotel is at the far end of the main walking concourse through town. First class breakfast, large comfy room. We wished we could have stayed another night. The staff directed us to a great restaurant, Il Pino, a one minute walk from the hotel. Our room had 200-year-old frescos on the walls.

We didn’t like the shower bathtub…huge step into the tub with no hand rails to grab.

Unbeatable location, only 7 min walk to the P3 parking lot (about 15 euros per 24 hour stay) and really close to everything since it's located inside San Gimignano walls. The breakfast was very good and we ate it outside, which was a nice way to start the day.

The room was a bit small, although the size of bathroom was nice! It was not much that we didn't like as we thought it was a good choice for our stay in San Gimignano.

Quiet and calm, great location, beautiful courtyard for breakfast (very good buffet), helpful staff when we needed travel advice, nice decor and simple, classic.

Our room was clean and comfortable and perfectly fine for us for two nights- however the (single) beds were actually quite small so may not suit everyone.
