This is a gorgeous property right Inside the walls of lovely San Gimignano ❤️ The rooms have such character and charm and are absolutely spotlessly clean. There is a shared dining/living area shared by 3 rooms where Mary lovingly prepared our breakfast the morning before we left to head on another leg of the via Francigena. She was soo lovely and we had a great chat about her home country, Sicily which we have visited on several occasions. Thank you Mary for everything ..we ca not wait to come back.

There was absolutely nothing to not like!

We arrived late in the afternoon and were able to pull the car in front of the hotel to drop off the luggage before parking in the remote lot. This was a great help. Even better was Vincenzo, Mary's husband, who insisted on carrying our bags up two long and narrow flights of stairs. That level of service and hospitality continued throughout our stay. Mary is a wonderful host, and made us feel like valued friends instead of customers. We loved everything about our stay here. Be prepared for stairs and an ancient building and you will feel right at home.

This B&B was the best lodging we experienced over 6 days while walking the Via Francigena from Lucca to Siena. Location is right in the walled portion of San Gimignano and you have shops and restaurants <1 min walk from the door. The rooms are beautiful with ancient wood beam ceiling and stone walls. Also very nice common area where breakfast is served and you can relax after a long day of exploring. Mary was an outstanding host--she provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and wine bars, and took our orders for a continental style breakfast the next day. The only challenge is the steps to get to the top floor but you'll get plenty of practice climbing in San Gimignano! This town and stay were the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend.

I loved everything about staying here. The room was beautiful, Mary was kind and attentive, and I was close to everything I wanted to see in San Gimignano. Breakfast was large and filling, consisting of fruit, pastries, juice, and coffee, among other things. The bedroom I had was very large and had its own bathroom, mini fridge, television, chair, and plenty of closet space for all of my things. Mary, the hostess, not only provides breakfast and prepared coffee for you, but she is welcoming, giving recommendations and pleasant conversation in the morning. I will be staying here any time I return to San Gimignano.

My only complaint is the two flights of stairs leading up to the B&B, but after all the hills throughout Sam Gimignano, this is hardly an issue.

The photos that they post do not lie: the rooms are PRECISELY as on the photographs - gorgeous, colorful and full of charm. Our room was lovely, with an amazing view of several of the famous San Gimignano towers from the window, and two of them winking at us from a small bathroom window reflected in the mirror as we were washing our teeth. The decor fits the entire city perfectly, following the "medieval" theme of the city and the buildings. Beautiful. Location inside the city walls is great, with many lovely restaurants just a minute away, and the city center just a short stroll up the alley. The B&B is also close to one of the city gates with a (small) parking zone just outside the city gate (we parked in the large parking lot on the other side of the city, which is a bit further away, but still perfectly reachable on foot, and it gave us good excuse to walk through the beautiful city). San Gimignano is amazing. Breakfast was more than abundant, with the host giving us a choice of croissant flavor in advance (my raspberry jam croissant was amazing, and my wife's pistacchio cream as well), and there were many other options to choose from. We ate our fill and left the breakfast table very satisfied. Host was very friendly and accomodating, and we are returning here for sure.

Breakfast was amazing, but we would have liked some savory options (the VERY abundant breakfast was typically Italian sweet). There are some narrow and steep stairs to reach the B&B inside the building, which can be a bit hard on weary travelers who just drove a few hours to reach the destination... But well worth once you see how lovely the B&B is.

B&B Le Undici Lune is an excellent place to stay in San Gimignano. The rooms are colorful, fun, and comfortable. It's definitely not a cookie-cuter lodging - located just off the main street in a building contructed in the 13th century. Our hostess, Mary, was amazing. She made dinner reservations for us, prepared a delicious breakfast, and even offered to deliver our lost luggage to us if it arrived at her place after our departure. Top marks on this B&B all around!

There was nothing not to like.

A beautiful apartment which is perfectly positioned, a few meters from the Via Francigena and main street, but in a quiet location. Mary kindly messaged us in advance to let us know that, on this occasion, she would be in the apartment from midday, which enabled us to check in early, leave our rucksacks and explore the city. An enjoyable breakfast.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. Mary was wonderful and had recommendations ready for us as first time visitors. What really set it over the top was the beautiful breakfast spread she set up herself. You can tell she really cares about her guests and their comfort. I would stay here over and over if I was a frequent visitor. 10/10 recommend.

My stay at Le Undici Lune was a joy. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the B&B is right in the centre of San Gimignano. But it was the hospitality and attentiveness of Mary (and her husband!) that set it apart - the exceptional breakfast they sourced from pasticceria and bakery, their local knowledge, and the kindness and helpfulness that animated every encounter. I really can't say enough for them.

This B&B is in an historic building in central San Gimignano - but in a fairly quiet street, which is nice as the piazzas can be quite crowded. There's good access to sights and restaurants and the hosts have negotiated a discount at two. We ate at one of them both nights - it was excellent. My room was prettily furnished.

Breakfast was a little disappointing compared with other B&Bs we stayed at on the same trip, particularly as this was one of the most expensive. Each fresh croissant was on a plate with lots of biscuits which we didn't want to eat - it felt rather wasteful.
