If you're looking for a truly authentic Tuscan experience nestled in the heart of the countryside then this charming "family-run" hotel is the perfect choice. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming where every guest is treated like family. Maria was wonderful and embraces all the guests with her warmth and shares her deep love of the area along with its history. Within the grounds you can find a small wine cellar and chapel both of which Maria is delighted to show curious guests. Adding to the sites historical allure a remarkable bronze statue dating back 300 years BC was discovered here and today can be found in the Archaeological museum in San Gimignano. This was a truly lovely place to stay.

We spent 2 glorious nights at this amazing place in the rolling hills of Tuscany. The hidden gem is tucked away down a rural dirt road - a the pictures (while beautiful!) do not do it justice. Spectacular views in every direction, spotless light-filled room, swimming pool perched on the hilltop, gardens, pond, hiking trails, and the most lovely owners and staff you will ever meet. Be sure to ask for a tour of the property to learn the magical history as an Etruscan holy site, Roman historical crossroads and it’s location on the holy pilgrim trail. Famous artifacts have been found on site and archeological digs continue to uncover history. On site gourmet restaurant serves night five-course meals (different menu every night) with food grown on site and locally. they grow and serve their own organic wines. Stop searching and book this place - it was amazing. We will be back!

This place is idyllic like a place out of heaven. The surroundings are breathtaking. Breakfast on their beautiful patio was wonderful and generous. Advice from Maria, our hostess was amazing showing us where to go and what to see. We had a 5 course Italian meal in their dining room our first evening and it was a lovely experience of Italian dining. Lovely outdoor seating areas to relax are everywhere. I would highly recommend this place to anyone

Breakfast was excellent with a range of pastries, cakes, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, cold cuts, coffee, tea, juice. A change from an espresso and a cornetto. The staff were freindly and informative about San Gigmignano. The 5 course dinners were excellent as well. It was great to be able to unwind in peace and tranquiity with a glass of wine in the garden. The town of San Gigmignano was a surprise and lovely to visit (after 6pm).

Honestly its hard to fault this place. Perhaps a steam iron and board in the room would have been nice to press clothes. We were also suprised at how crowded San Gigmignano was during the day, being full of day-trippers. However, if you go to town after 6pm they have left and things are much better

The views really are amazing and everything I wanted for our anniversary trip to Tuscany. We loved that we were right on the Via Francegena. We walked about 1.5 miles from the agriturismo and back. So many great views. The food was great. I am a picky eater and tried things that I've never tried, and liked them. We enjoyed the many options for wine. Maria was kind enough to show us around and give us a history of the place. Absolutely fascinating! They have had interesting archaeological finds. There is a nice view from the pool area which is outside the main area and through another gate. We walked through vineyard and met the donkeys. I really wish we had stayed 4 or 5 nights instead of just 3. We have already recommended this stay to friends.

We liked our room, but I would have preferred an upstairs room for the view. I recommend staying in a suite if you can get it. We visited the suites with friends we made on the trip and they are very nice and had great views from the terrace.

EVERYTHING ! What a magical place to stay. Stefano and his wife greeted us when we arrived. Maria and Julia were lovely making sure we were well fed. After a long day of traveling we hadn't had time to eat, Maria said that no one goes hungry here and fixed us up with a simple but delicious lunch. We have recommended to a couple yesterday that we're heading to Tuscany that this was definitely a place to visit / stay. We booked in for the evening 5 course meal both nights which was beautiful it was a truly memorable stay in our trip to Italy.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Everyone was so kind and incredibly welcoming. The room was comfortable and the meals were memorable. The room and decor felt "classic", the pictures do not do it justice. The property is scenic with many different nooks and areas to relax indoors and outdoors. Even with multiple other families staying there, it is not hard to find your own quiet place. We were able to visit San Gimignano (just a 10 minute drive away) and hike a little bit of the Via Francigena (right next to the agriturismo). But mostly, it was the perfect place to simply relax and enjoy the Tuscan countryside.

While the remote location is worth it, the sometimes steep drive on the gravel road could be a bit nerve-wracking.

Everything about this venue was great ... the staff (Maria was phenomenal), the accommodations, the countryside (and history) of this location, the fresh Italian food served for breakfast/dinner. Hospitality was incredible with an special tour of the property by Torraccia di Chiusi owner Stefano. We will come back! Thank you!

The property was prefect for a Tuscan countryside get away. A beautifully situated estate on a farm 10 minutes outside of the beautiful medieval town of San Gimignano. The room was incredible and the staff was great. Maria was so kind and accommodating and greeted us as soon as we arrived. The dinner was incredible, 5 course meal of all fresh ingredients for a very affordable price. The owner, Stefano, made sure to greet every guest at dinner and tell them about each course as well as give suggestions on the wine that he makes at dinner. You can tell how much passion he has for his business and making sure everyone feels like they are at home during their stay. 10/10 experience and I would recommend to anyone who wants to get a true authentic Tuscan countryside experience.

It is an amazing place with stunning views, amazing hosts and incredible story of the place. We loved everything and wish to come back! I want to thank all team for having us there, they really care and made our stay very comfortable. There so much attention to all details, from rooms, breakfast, yard with coffee table, cold water, fantastic wine (we loved Rasna rose), amazing pool and great dinners!!! Maria is very special ❤️. It is 10 out of 10 with no doubt!
