Very beautiful inner yard with pool, comfy room with high ceilings, very good breakfast.

There are working hours for the pool, it's from 7 - 19. That was a bit disappointing as - once you are back from your day trip around, you can't take a swim in the evening just look at it. First evening when we arrived - the manager allowed to take a short and silent swim. But then - those were only mornings when we could use the pool as we came after 19. And you need to have your own towel for the pool or you can rent it for 5 euros. We were 3 persons in the room and 2 times - by arrival and after cleaning, we had towels for 2 persons. Of course, they were given, but every time you need to go and ask for those which was a bit annoying. Can hear the traffic.

The pool was fabulous. Our room opened up directly to the pool. the food was very good but the first night everything was too salty. excellent the rest of the week though. The views from around the property are lovely but the star of the stay were the staff they all made us feel very welcome and had great suggestions for seeing the sites. My wife lost a decorative button from her favorite dress. She asked the front desk to keep an eye out know it wouldn't turn up but! two days late a member of staff found it in a hallway under a table and returned it to us. My wife was delighted! We will definitely be back!!

In my opinion the bed was too hard but maybe that just me. As I mentioned the food the first day was too salty. We loved everything else!

It’s a beautiful property! Well maintained!! And very clean!!!! We loved our room, which opens up to the pool! It was spacious! And the bathroom too was very spacious! The pool feels great!!! The dining area/restaurant is also very nice, and staff are very friendly and helpful! Breakfast included was also delicious! The property is walking distance to monteriggioni, it can be a little hike, but definitely do-able!

The ac was working great, until the last night, and it didn’t seem to cool as much. Wish the pool bar was open, would have been great to have drinks by the pool during the day. There is a bar inside, but it doesn’t open until 4 or 5 pm

Beautiful and charming hotel in an even more beautiful spot - very romantic indoor area with good facilities (pool, gym, ecc). Nice breakfast with a large choice. You can have dinner on place as well but there is the castle with many amazing restaurants only a few minutes far (by car)

Gym was rather old and not all machines were working, however it was the first hotel in our vacation which even offered a gym, so cannot complain :)

The pool area was very nice. We did not use the spa, but did see it and it looked very good. I did use the fitness centre. It was properly equipped, but the only issue I had was that it was very hot and did not have any proper airflow. On the flip side, I was the only one in there!

The fact that you had to to rent the pool towels, but I guess that is understandable. Otherwise, nothing negative.

The continental breakfast was poor. In fact aside from croissants and 2 choices of what seemed to be home made cakes, the savory part was lacking of products.We found no eggs on the second morning and just some slices of packed cheese and ham. A continental breakfast in a 4 star hotel should offer a wide variety of food, unfortunately this was not the case at all

Breakfast was fantastic. We slept wonderfully. We were walking the Via Francigena and their laundry service completed everything very quickly. The dinner was excellent. The Staff were fantastic. Despite the relatively high cost, this location ranked 4th overall of the 20 nights of the Via Francigena walk.

We stopped here while walking the Via Francigena, and the cost per person was the 3rd highest of 20 stops; however, the Value was that of a 4-star hotel, hence justified.

I booked this Hotel by mistake. We were on the Via Francigena, the Hotel was a little out of our way. It turned out to be a very comfortable stay after being drenched in a Thunderstorm. The room was large, tastefully decorated the bathroom was fine too. Our room had a lovely patio with view of the garden and large swimming pool. We had an excellent diner at the hotel, a great surprise. Professional waitstaff that recommended an excellent wine, not always the case in Italy. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices.

My father has suffered a stroke and cannot use his right arm / hand and is not good on his legs but was able to access the swimming with some assistance.

The staff were extremely helpful and went over and above to make sure our stay was extremely pleasant.
