The country character of the Borgo and the man from hotel staff who get us to health center next village when I broke my elbow in the Borgo.

The broken stone floor was the reason I felt and broke my elbow . That happened next to the pool so I didn’t enjoy the pool and the tennis court and the rest of my holidays in Florence . That should be fixed immediately to avoid accidents but I noticed that no one cared. Also the manager of the Borgo never appeared to ask for my health ?! And last but not least we had 2 more nights at the Borgo but they didn’t think to move us in another room without stairs to make my stay more confortable😢

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the pool and pool area is fantastic.

The room are rustic and full of character which is nice but they felt a bit dusty and perhaps a bit of modernising in the bathrooms would be good.

We absolutely loved it! The hotel was beautiful, and the property itself was simply perfect. Its location, close to both Siena and San Gimignano, made it ideal for exploring the region. The surrounding landscapes were breathtaking, with stunning views in every direction. The pool area was relaxing and well-maintained, and the breakfast was delicious every single morning. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations — we would definitely come back.

The bed was quite uncomfortable at first. However, as soon as we mentioned it to the reception, they quickly provided us with a mattress topper, which made a difference and solved the problem.

The property as a whole is magical - it created a sense of wonder, relaxation, down-to-earth vibe and basically everything one might ask for in a leisure location. Some exceptionally great factors to highlight are wonderful staff aleays eager to help and serve but also interact in a personal way if that’s something you like; the pool with it’s facilities; the cucina in either one of the great restaurants, home to a great Chef and staff that are truly on-par with the highest standard of Toscanian fine dining but reasonably priced; the bar and drinks; the Tennis and Fooball Facilities; and of course the rooms which truly hit the balance between ”country romantic” and modern. I think we stayed at one of the cheapest rooms but it too was exceptionally great for a frequent traveller. Must mention that with a rental car, the location is great for day-trips to anywhere in Toscana (Firenze, Siena, Montepulciano, whatever you want to see). 10/10, would recommend for families, couples, elderly, a dog family or basically anyone who wants a pinch of true toscanian warmth and luxury in their life.

The property was beautiful, the people were very nice. Greeted by a welcome drink annd anmazing coffees at their restaurant. Good gated parking for the cars. And best of all the breakfast was amazing, the best we had while in Italy. They have a juice presser, a whole charcutterie station, a fresh omelette station, freshly baked croissants and other pastries. So amazing and included which started off our mornings on a great note. Also, the region around is beautiful in nature, good to get away. The personnel were kind enough to upgrade our room to a suite, thank you so much. Our room was huge with two bathrooms one downstairs, one upstairs, and a living room. Would definitely come back.

That it is PET FRIENDLY. The size of the room and the bathroom, the parking availability, the location where the Borgo is, in the middle of nature. Easy access, friendly staff. It's really amazing to wake up on those rooms and observe the nature, trees, green of the garden! And again, it is PET FRIENDLY!!!

The food menu at the restaurant, maybe sometimes is better to keep it simple and offer comfort food (basic food to recover after a long day). The other thing we didn't like was that we brought a bottle of wine and wanted to drink it at the "lounge/play room" and they didn't allow it. They have a restaurant and we understand that there should be some policies, but we were at the lounge in some kind of living room. Maybe charging a corkage fee? This is the center of Toscana and some guest may want to try different wines from the region ;)

The property was gorgeous. We felt like we were entering a castle. It was so charming, lush green and beautiful. The restaurant was wonderful. The one dinner we had there was delicious. The room was good. The staff was very polite and very helpful.

We had a room with a sit out. We were 2 adults and 2 children (ages 15 and 11). The room was a little small for the four of us, but nothing to complain too much about. The only thing was that the shower room door leaked and it wet the whole bathroom each time anyone had a shower. Other than that, the stay was perfect.

Lovely property. Ok breakfast. Pool was good. Great tennis court.

Could be cleaner. Breakfast pastries had flies all over them. They had a blackout & even though I asked 3 people when they thought we would get power back, nobody knew and it’s not until I got angry at night when we couldn’t see in our room they said oh we can put the lights back on in your room and someone came to fix it. Not great value for money.

Beautiful property!! Our room was upgraded & was very clean & spacious. The bed was very comfortable. There was a fabulous double bathroom. We loved it. Breakfast was wonderful with a very large variety of foods & eggs cooked how you liked. There was a basket of fruit & a basket of vegetables & a large juicer so everyone could make their own fresh juice. All the breakfast food was delicious.

We had dinner in the dining room on our first night. The ambience & the servers were great. The menu was very limited & it was expensive. I have to say that we didn't enjoy that meal.

breakfast had many options, including very fresh fruits the room was comfortable, there were no irons in the rooms but a steamer was available at the front desk

there was nowhere to get water on the property outside of breakfast hours, and needing to pay 4 euros every time felt very excessive for a 4-star hotel. There were not enough umbrellas by the pool or available.
