The hotel is situated at the top of a hill. Its in the most picturesque location. The staff were VERY HOSPITABLE. The rooms were MASSIVE. We had an abundance of space. Everything was so lovely and clean. The breakfast was more than enough and they catered for Gluten Free as well. A walk downhill into town is a must. Just stroll the streets and get lost. The spa was lovely, the ladies were so welcoming and gave a great massage.

Tes and coffee in the room would have been a great addition, we did enjoy them at breakfast, however we rise early, so it would have been an added bonus.

The hotel is in a wonderful location in the overlooked Colle di Val D'Elsa. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The pool, with beverage service, was a great space to relax after a morning of touring Tuscany. The parking was simple and convenient and the breakfast was plentiful. There are a number of very good restaurants very close or within a 10 minute walk of the hotel. Just make a reservation a day or two ahead and enjoy!

This is a minor point, but the coffee in the urn was instant and not very good. The alternative is to ask the staff for a espresso or cappuccino and the problem was easily solved.

This hotel was my second option, as I hadn't found a suitable, pet-friendly hotel in Sangimiano. However, it turned out to be a better choice, as it's quite close to Sangimiano, and the Colle d'Ellas is a good place to dine and walk around in the evening. Additionally, it's less crowded than Sangimiano. The breakfast has vast options and in quality, the swimming pool is situated in the midst of a lush, flower-filled, and fragrant area. Having the parking lot at the hotel is rare to find in the small, old town of Tuscany; parking was stress-free. The staff are excellent; they offered me water for the next journey as well. We also found a mat and a bowl for my pet in the room. This kind of detailed service is what I've only experienced here during our journey in Tuscany. I recommend this place. This hotel is worth the money

The hotel is beautifully located in the center of an old traditional town, where you can find restaurants and cafés close by such as taking wonderful walks around the area. Our superior room was beautiful, spacious, perfectly clean, very well maintained with a heating in the bathroom, which was great for warming up the towels. They also placed a cute water bowl and food bowl for our little dog. All the staff from the reception and also the cleaning ladies were super friendly and we felt very welcomed in the hotel. We could also visit a lot of beautiful cities and nice places around Toscana such as Pisa, Florence , Sienna etc. The free parking in the hotel was very convenient. We also fully enjoyed the spa and could relax perfectly. The only thing we could wish for us to have would be gym, that would be even more awesome! We absolutely recommend this hotel and are grateful for this great experience! :)

The rooms and amenities were lovely and the pool was a wonderful respite from the heat.

Not something I didn’t like about the property but would have loved if room service was available - The staff were friendly and accommodating of our requests where they were able to. The town is so high on the hill if you venture down to the main square the walk back is no joke. And we weren’t able to hire a car which is definitely something you should do as we ended up travelling where we could go by foot and taxis are not frequent.

Nice quiet location but close to attractions such as San Gimignano, Siena etc. Staff was quite nice and helpful. Private parking was helpful.

The room was spacious and there was a spa bath- not booked for. However as it was there we wanted to use it. It didn't work, the knobs were dirty and disgusting. But we didn't complain or use as it was a perk we didn't pay for. Breakfast was relatively bad ice for a 4star hotel.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious with a stunning view from our window, excellent air conditioning, and a large bathroom. Housekeeping was impeccable, with the room cleaned daily. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of choices. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout the hotel. The location is perfect—just a 15-minute drive from San Gimignano, making it a great base for exploring the region. We stayed for four days and enjoyed visiting different places each day. Colle Val d'Elsa is a charming and peaceful town, free from large crowds of tourists. We highly recommend this hotel!

I think that addition of coffee option to the room will be helpful. I liked less pillows.

Its location in a beautiful hilltop historic town, plenty of parking at hotel and very good restaurants within walking distance, plus spa and massage. Excellent restaurant onsite too. Staff were really helpful and friendly, especially Paula, who ensured we were well taken care of. Hotel reception was very quick to respond with any request via phone. Room was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel has a modern lift, no need to bring luggage up the stairs. Concierge takes care of all luggage. An excellent base to explore Tuscany.

A wonderful hotel in an ideal location to explore surrounding towns such as Siena. A very modern hotel. Staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. Family room, modern and well appointed, with loads of space to relax. Beds comfortable. Aircon worked very well. Great breakfast. A lovely outdoor pool with bar service available. Hotel parking available, but is limited. Overflow is nearby public parking. Health and wellness centre attached to the hotel. Definitely recommend.

Let's start with the location - hotel is located in a beautiful part of the medieval city that is opposite of being crowded. The old and empty streets make for great strolls in the evening. The staff has been more than helpful and kind to us. They offered a help whenever we needed one. The room has been comfortable and very clean. Sheets have been regularly changed as well as the towels. Pool and the garden offered a lot of place to relax after a tiring day of sightseeing beautiful Tuscany vistas. Breakfasts have been samey every morning but the food was very good so I didn't feel bored of eating similar things every day. Only cakes have been somewhat on a rotation. Hotel staff provided important information about surroundings and potential difficulties in travelling eg road blockages and whatnot.

Prices at the bar could have been lower. No need to charge 11 eu for a beer in a can.
