The building and the gardens are beautiful. The breakfast was good and varied; we especially liked the pistachio croissant and the fact they had seeds to add to your yogurt or fruits. The room was spacious and clean and had a view of the town. The staff was helpful and friendly; they went the extra mile and sent someone of their own to pick us up from the train station, as we couldn't find a taxi

There was no room service as such. We rang to order something light to eat; they told us we could have food from the restaurant from their normal menu but not light food like sandwiches. It would be good to have that option if you are a bit hungry but don't fancy a full meal.

The hotel itself was amazing. The pictures of the hotel and our room were not half as good as the hotel itself in person. We stayed there with our families for our wedding and everyone enjoyed the garden and pool. Breakfast was very good as well. The honeymoon suite was so spacious, my wife did her getting ready there and the pictures were amazing. The bathroom had so much coubterspace, that's exceptionally rare in hotels. Daniele the manager was very helpful and friendly. We organized with him a small pizza party for some friends and family, and the food, gardens, wine and service were exquisite. Definitely will be returning.

Everything was great. Maybe in the future could a fitness center be installed.

The property is absolutely outstanding – peaceful, beautiful, and incredibly relaxing. The hotel itself has a charming mix of antique style and modern touches, with lovely small details that create an authentic Tuscan atmosphere. The swimming pool area is perfect for unwinding, and the food is delicious and full of flavor. We dined at the hotel restaurant Il Cardinale, which offers a romantic atmosphere in the evening with soft lights and live music on certain days. Both the food and wine were a perfect 10/10! The hotel staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful – they go above and beyond to assist with anything you need. The city center is within walking distance, with great restaurants and amazing gelato. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Tuscany without the typical tourist crowds. Would definitely come back!

It’s the second year I visit this property (first with my friends, and now with my family) and it was honestly such a beautiful experience again. The building and the grounds are wonderful, the view is spectacular, the staff is great and really friendly and the rooms are perfect for either a short or a longer stay. Also, the location is perfect if you have access to a car as some of the most beautiful tuscan villages are located in 15-30 min driving distance. It’s also close to both Florence or Sienna so you also have airports nearby. The Colle di Val D’Elsa old city is also beautiful and stacked with great restaurants and wonderful views and it’s within walking distance or a 7 min drive away. I will probably come again!

Beautiful place, close to all Tuscany villages that are a must see.

The heating system in our room didn't work in the first night.

The breakfast was amazing, including the most incredible range of croissants and pastries ever seen! The almond croissants were sublime. The restaurant was also fantastic. After our initial disappointment at not being able to dine outside due to adverse weather forecast, we were absolutely thrilled by the restaurant in the cellar, and the delicious meal and wine we were served.

Best place we ve stayed in Tuscany, everything was perfect, rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and with an amazing smell. Swiming pool was clean and a good place to kill some time. The restaurant has extremely good food and an exceptional ambiance, they even had a live band singing when we had dinner. Breakfast was very diversified and with a lot of options.A lot of parking spots and very clean and well maintained. All the staff were friendly and ready to help with anything you might need. I highly recommend this place.

Everything about our stay at Relais della Rovere was beautiful. The hotel itself is charming, the atmosphere is unique, and the staff were always friendly and very professional. The restaurant was delicious, though a bit overpriced, and the same can be said for the hotel in general. Still, overall it was a very good experience that we truly enjoyed.

We initially thought the hotel would be in the countryside, far away from everything, but we found that it’s not as secluded as expected

This hotel is a true hidden gem! The garden is absolutely stunning – carefully maintained, full of greenery and plants. The pool offers a refreshing escape in the heart of nature, and the terrace provides a magical view of the nearby town. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Staying here was perfect, it’s the kind of place you’re happy to return to!

Such a beautiful property, the old monastery is well kept and the outside area by the pool offers such a relaxing atmosphere. It’s very well located, just 2 min from the highway, making it easy to get around Tuscany. The breakfast was a good continental breakfast with added Italian specialties. The staff was nice and accommodating, from the cleaning lady to the waiters at the restaurant. Overall recommend!
