There's a wonderful medieval atmosphere throughout the city, so that's the vision I had for the room. It's a great location because it's in the centre of the city, in a very convenient location. Extremely nice and warm receptionist. The room is simple, but as I travelled a lot, cleanliness, the possibility to wash and sleep comfortably was important to me, so I got everything I needed.

There was no hairdryer and no air conditioning. Since I was only staying one night and it wasn't too hot outside, it was possible to survive without air conditioning. There was a fan hanging from the ceiling, but no chain to turn it on, and a big layer of dust when I touched it.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION The "little" things could easily be overlooked due to the location of this hotel. IF you are going to nit-pick then do not stay here. It is a true European hotel. There was nicks on the door, cracked paint and old fixtures. If that is going to bother you then this is not the place for you. The view was lovely since we were able to keep the window open and wake up to the back of the lovely church. The birds were singing and flying about. It was a Friday night and there was a DJ nearby BUT when we got in the room we did not hear a sound. There is a basic breakfast that was offered (great juice) but I preferred going to the nearby cafe for a sweet Italian treat. Hotel staff could not have been nicer. They offered to keep our bags while we went and explored more of this lovely city prior to us catching the train. This hotel is so much larger than you would think too. The rooms are HUGE.

I did not like that I had to leave.

Nice accommodation in the middle of the historic center so it was easy to discover it and come back whenever I needed. Window was high above a side street, where was nice to watch passing by people, but it wasn’t too loud during night. One-bed room was enough bit with everything needed and bathroom. There wasn’t air condition in the room, but the big ceiling ventilator did surprisingly good job to bring fresh air from outside (it wasn’t the hottest summer).

Some light and noise coming from the street, but the most bothering switched off for night, so it was OK to sleep with open window.

Awesome stay at this accommodation. The room is simple and the bed is comfortable. Staff were great and helpful with things to do in Siena. Incredible location, 5 minute walk from Piazza Del Campo

Noise was extremely loud at night when your window is on the street. Just get some ear buds and you’ll be fine though Breakfast was average. Just cereal and packaged croissants

We very much liked the central location, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The room was simple, but there was good wardrobe space and good shutters. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Siena.

I wish we'd known how easy it was to use the buses to get from the station into town, not far from the hotel, as we waited a long, long time for a taxi on arrival at the railway station, and the hotel wasn't able to book a taxi for us going back to the station, because there are too few taxi firms working in the town. But the bus service was really good.

breakfast was rather poor for what it is available in italy, was packaged supermarket bought stuff, with little effort and little money they may offer italian food bought at local bakery or vegetables or cheese market, spending little more and offering outstanding quality

the parking is far, the circulation of traffic is complex for whom is not local - better map, with clear delineation of the path would be helpful

Cute and well-kept historic building within the ancient walls of Siena, along with a friendly and welcoming staff, certainly creates a good atmosphere!

Breakfast could be better, especially the coffee, also not many option for foreigners who rather a salty start (only a creamy cheese and butter was provided, with bread); about the sweet part, it's just okay.

Excellent location in a historic building in the heart of Siena. Close to everything worth to see. Nice reception, I fell safe, good room service. Wi-Fi was working properly.

Lack of hanger for towels and any shelf for personal cosmetics in the bathroom. Lack of any cups or glasses in the room. Basic breakfast. The hotel needs a little refreshment.

This a traditional European hotel in an over 100 year old building. Bohemia would be the best description. If you are expecting everything to be ultramodern there is a 4 star hotel down the street at four times the price. This hotel is a great value. You could not ask for a better location, well insulated from the thongs of tourists. Our Friends who were staying in Siena were jealous of the central location, a 7 minute walk to any part of the city. The hotel is located off the main street and the area was very safe. Staff was always helpful, calling taxis and answering all our questions.

This is a comment on Siena and not the hotel itself. Do not even think about driving inside the walls of the city. Google maps will get you completely lost, sending you down the wrong way on one way streets. The locals made you well aware of it! Street parking is nonexistent and if you park in the wrong spot your car will get towed within the hour. I recommend that you contact the hotel and get the address of the free parking area right outside the Wall. Google maps does have this right! Park your car there and leave it there. The parking area is a 7 minute walk to the hotel or have the hotel call you a cab.

Great location, really central. It's in Sienna so obviously it doesn't have free parking as they bizarrely state. What they mean is you can park somewhere for free, by which measure I'll assume almost every hotel on the planet has 'free parking'. We got there about 5pm and found a free parking space where the suggested then just walked in, it's an easy 10 min walk. Hotel is typical older Italian style, no frills but with a no frill price. If you want frills then you're gonna need to paying for them elsewhere. We had no complaints, only there for a night so it was perfect.
