The hotel is a small family-run hotel located at the entrance of the old city but still with full access to public transports and many other places. The rooms are big, very clean (cleaning was done thoroughly every day). The bathroom is completely renoved, beatifull and luxurious. The rooms are furnished in an old and typical style rooms that suit the medieval style of the building and all the surrounding. The bed is very comfortable, there is a fridge (where mineral water was added every day), a safe box, confortable typical chairs and exit to the terasse from the room. Around the hotel we found a local bar and restaurant with delicious food. We also enjoy the hospitality of our host who help in everything we need. I warmly recommend this place for a magical stay in Siena.

We had to get use to the style of the room but after one day we love it.

First of all, what a find. I booked a last minute spot that said usually not available and it’s not obvious to me why. Dino is kind, accommodating, and thoughtful. He was patient and responsive when I asked if I could store my luggage for a bit between hotels. The space itself is located right near a major landmark and within excellent walking distance of pretty much everything,including major transport stops on the bus line. 15 minutes walking and you’re anywhere. The bed was by far the most comfortable I’ve had so far in Europe and the room felt much more expensive and high end than the price reflected. I stayed in the pink renaissance room (I called it) and the access to the terrace was amazing in the morning. The building does have two heavy doors and three sets of keys to get from the street to your room- but I saw it as a positive because of the extra safety, security, and quiet that came with it.

Apartment is right outside the Domenico church and central to most sites! We caught the bus from Siena station and it was just a 1 min walk from the bus stop and very easy to find. There was a grocery store just around the corner which was great. We made the use of the terrace and enjoyed the space at night. The hosts were also lovely!

Superb location. Firstly, a taxi from the station can deliver you/pick you up right to the door, which opens onto a piazza outside a major landmark - St Catherine/ San Domenico. This means it's also easy to get yourself back home after walking around the twisty streets of the town, as San Domenico is signed at many corners. The wonderful (rare!) large flowery terrace overlooks the square, just wonderful for sitting out people watching/catching some sun or breeze. You can see right across the green ravine to the Duomo and walk in a few minutes to the Medici park. Siena can be pretty crowded and tightly packed, so this sense of space and greenery is wonderful. There's plenty of cafes/eateries/shops within a few steps. I love having a kettle in the room, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff are very clear about their available times and leaving luggage etc.. so if you follow this, you'll have no problems with check in and out. They kindly called me a cab - I found the family helpful and kind.

Do be aware of steps going up and down from room to terrace. But Siena is a giant trip hazard anyway so be careful everywhere :)

Great location close to free parking outside the center, but also a quick walk to the center. The rooms had lovely antiques, were clean, and comfortable. Check in and out was easy.

The only thing we had to complain about was something I see in a few other comments. It would appear our room was the only one that did not have access to the terrace, which was not mentioned in the booking. If there was a way to get to the terrace, we could not figure it out. We deliberately look for places with outdoor spaces, so we can play a late game or two of cards outside. If we had known our room did not connect to the terrace we would have chosen another room. We loved our room and our experience at Casalbergo, but just believe this should have been clear.

Impeccably clean, so comfy and lovely decor. Brilliant bathroom and shower, access to a terrace area with seating and an amazing view of Siena. Booked on the day and the hosts couldn’t have been better. Lovely extras in the room too which made a huge difference (water, tea, coffee, sweets and snacks). Thank you!

Fabulous location a short walk from the bus station on one side and Piazza del Campo on the other side. Restaurants, bars, markets all around. Family-run, personable owner there for a few hours daily. Tall ceilings, very spacious rooms and bathroom. Loved this place

Friday and Saturday night street noise but easily solved with a white noise sound from our phone. Only affects room 1, other rooms were away from street

I had a wonderful stay at Casalbergo. The room was very large and comfortable with aircon. Great bed and loved that there was an electric kettle and fridge. Very friendly hosts

The only downside is that the church bells start at 7.30, but as I had to get up early most days it wasn't an issue

Great location of the apartments, go out, do few steps and you can enjoy marvellous view to the Siena cathedral. Many restaurants in the area for breakfast or other meal. Clean spacious room on the ground floor. Nice owner, clean room, soft towels. Recommended.

Bed was a little bit too soft, but it might be just a personal preference :-)

Beautiful location, extremely clean and very helpful staff. We were allowed to check in early and leave our luggage there after check-out. We got very helpful tips for what to see/ do in Siena and how to get to the train station. Recommend 10/10!
