It is very close to everything you will want to see in Siena. So the location was a huge plus for us. It’s also right next to the escalator so if you’re bringing luggage up that is also another benefit. The view from the room is also very nice. The breakfast is somewhat light compared to some of the other places that we have stayed, but it’s good enough to fill you up. Keep in mind that there isn’t always a staff member on site, so if you need something you will have to chat with them through WhatsApp or booking. Internet was good and stable enough for remote working.

Very welcoming B&B in Siena. Stefani and Piero are gracious hosts. The breakfast includes croissants, homemade cakes, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee (Americano, espresso and cappuccino), tea, toast, honey and jams. The room and bed are very comfortable and inspired me to sketch. The view of the Basilica Cateriniana di Domenico is outstanding. I was able to take in the valley view with my travel binoculars 😊 Just spectacular. The bathroom is also wonderful with a very good hair dryer and it also has a bidet and towel warmer.

Everything is wonderful about this B&B!

Clean suite, comfortable beds, the breakfast was great and we were able to ask for cheese and ham. Decaf coffee and fresh juice were wonderful. The location is excellent. Hosts were very kind and welcoming and did our laundry (5 euros extra for a big load of heavy washing) they have dryer too

Everything was perfect

A centrally-located B&B in a quiet street. The owner sets the breakfast and is available to help and answer questions Piero was so kind (when learned about bus drivers' strike) to offer us a ride to the railway station

The B&B is located on the Italian 2nd (3d elsewhere) floor, so it might be a problem for people with mobility limitations. Piero was forthcoming to help us with our luggage though. Taxi drivers are reluctant to bring passengers to the B&B door due to the narrow streets and convoluted circulation patterns of one-way streets. We had to walk a couple of blocks from an easier to access square.

it is a very homely place, in a great location, just a short walk away from the Duomo, right in the city’s historic centre. my room was large, spacious and very comfortable. i cannot speak enough of the host Piero. he was a wonderful host, going out of his way to help and assist me on my trip wherever possible. he ensured i had a great and comfortable stay and didn’t face any problems. the breakfast served was also very delicious! i definitely recommend anyone coming to Siena to stay here, it was an amazing experience for me!

We really enjoyed our 2 nights in Siena staying at Casacenti. We had a bit of a ‘mare finding it in the car, so would definitely recommend using the drop and collect garage service, public transport or walk from parking outside the city walls! We had too much luggage! Second floor rooms with separate kitchen where breakfast was served. Very comfortable (we were in the Green Room), with lovely decor (especially the ceilings!). View of St Catherine’s Church from the windows. Small fridge in the room and aircon, both necessary in the heat of an August trip! Use of washing machine available for €5 charge. Washing line outside the room window for traditional drying! Fast, efficient and eco-friendly. Brilliant location for walking around the beautiful city of Siena! We much appreciated being able to leave our luggage after check-out so we could make the most of our last day taking in the city. Warm and welcoming hosts, thank you Stefano and Piero, would definitely recommend and would love to stay again if we return to Siena!

Nothing not to like!

Lovely, characterful BnB in an old medieval house near Il Campo, down a quiet street, on 2nd floor, run by a wonderful Italian family who were all friendly and helpful, Stefano and his son especially so. They thought of everything in how they presented the room and bathroom (very good) and in how they served breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend. Although location is very central, it was very quiet there at night (this was the end of May).

I can’t think of anything.

We loved this place, it's so central to the Campo and the Duomo and yet felt tucked away. We were in the Green Room, which was very spacious and had the most amazing views. The breakfast was as we expected, croissants, cake, toast and the honey was an extra treat.

There isn't anything that we didn't like. I'd noticed that some others had mentioned the stairs to the B&B. I'm recovering from a knee replacement and I found them ok, just took my time. The stairs had a railing which was helpful.

A beautiful spot in the centre of town, with easy walk to all the sights. If travelling out of Siena it's about a 10 minute walk to the bus station and 25 mins to the train station. I didn't mind the walk at all. The room was small but perfect for me with a lovely view out onto the street. Stefano was a wonderful host and I enjoyed chatting of a morning during breakfast. I Had the room next to the shared bathroom and whenever I used it it was always clean and pristine. When I return to Siena I will definitely stay again.

Had a two-night stand at Casacenti. Piero is a great host, very easy to communicate with. The room is air-conditioned, which is very helpful during summer heat. The room is furnished with antique-looking furniture. The street is not too noisy despite its location not far away from Duomo. Breakfast is modest, yet both cornetto and pie were quite tasty, as well as freshly-brewed coffee. Beautiful view at Basilica Cateriniana from the kitchen.
