The location of the property is smack dab in the middle of the mid eval town of Sienna. Right out the front door, was the cobble streets of Sienna with shops and restaurants. The Cathedral of Sienna is a three minute walk down the street and is the most beautiful cathedral I have ever seen. Samantha was our concierge, she was incredible. She arranged parking in advance for us (you cant drive your car into Sienna) and a ride to the property. She was kind, showed us around the property, answered our 100 questions (lol) and arranged taxi rides for us to our cooking class, and back to the property. Our room was very large, the bathroom was beautiful, and came with a huge bathtub and shower. The water pressure was strong, the wi fi was excellent. The check in was on the third floor, and there was a very, very small elevator (2 people max), I preferred the stairs. I would definitely recommend this property. the Kirbys

First, the hosts! Paolo was wonderful in organizing a private transfer from FLR directly to the residence. We were so well cared for by Sonia throughout our time and by Joanna on our last day. I miss them already, they were all so kind and hospitable. The morning breakfasts are absolutely fantastic and are made to order for you - the selection is huge and includes of course delicious cappuccinos and pastries. The night prior, you choose the dining time (from 8:30 to 10:30) and make all your selections, and in the morning you arrive to a beautifully set table with everything. Such a lovely way to start the day. If you must have breakfast earlier they will accommodate you with vouchers for the very nice cafe/bar on the street level of the building for 7am. Next, the location: perfection. Walk out the door and look immediately to the right - you can see the Duomo complex just 2 minutes walk down the Via del Capitano. Or take an immediate right turn around the corner onto Via di Cittta and it’s 4 minutes walk to Il Campo. Absolutely the best “home base” for walking the entire city for days. Last but not least: the accommodations themselves. Fantastic and beautiful. We had a two-level suite with two twin beds on the upper level for our teenagers, the big bed on main level for us with beautiful French doors out to a little balcony with the most picturesque view! The bathroom fixtures were modern and clean (everything was clean!) and all the necessities provided. They even provided daily cleaning service with beds made and towels refreshed!! This was an unexpected luxury! And did I forget to mention- there is a rooftop deck available to all guests to enjoy wonderful views. We cannot say enough about this place. It will definitely be our home away from home in Siena! Thank you again Paolo, Sonia and Joanna!!

This was our accommodation for a three-night stay in Siena. The location was excellent; two blocks from the large main square and near bars, restaurants, coffee shops and a small supermarket. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We wished there was a closet or a place to hang clothes. The breakfast (meat, cheese, fruit, yogurt, eggs, sweets, and croissants) was nicely presented in a lovely setting. We were very pleased with Palazzo Borghesi.

It would have been helpful to have a closet or hooks on the wall to hang jackets, etc.

This is a beautiful palazzo in a great central location in Siena. The staff was wonderful and very attentive making sure your stay was perfect and ensuring they provided good recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. This is really for you if you enjoy historical settings and don't mind walking throughout the old city area. Vehicles are not permitted, but parking is available for a fee through the palazzo staff, and that is important given the driving constraints in the city. Breakfast was good and staff will prepare some items to order. A great experience.

This is really a walking experience and is not the best for anyone with a problem walking given the hilly setting throughout the city. We were disappointed that a number of restaurants were closed for winter vacations, but enjoyed those available while we were visiting.

Beautiful room, spacious with interesting, antique furnishings and bathroom, a great location, I want for breakfast and simply the best coffees and cappuccinos! The staff was amazing in every way. They were most responsive in communication prior to our arrival and help us solve some complicated… Truly complicated problems while we were there. Joanna is so kind and dedicated, going above and beyond reasonable expectations, you would’ve thought she was the owner.

I loved everything about it!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, which was conveniently located just two minutes from everything! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredible, especially Johana, who greeted us with warmth and provided lots of useful information. The view from our room's window was breathtaking, and the terrace offered an even more spectacular panorama. The entire experience really enhanced our time in Siena, adding to the city's historic vibe. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

This is an exceptionsl place. Great customer service! They go above and beyond- we were upgraded to amazing room with one of a kind view; private parking service arranged which I highly recomend; excellent breakfast in beautiful dining room; a lot of education through sharing a history upfront; excellent wine for a welcome, coffee, great terrasse and unbeatable location. Facility even has an elevator, cleaningness is on high level. Daniela was amazing. Thank you and we will be back!

location was great for seeing centre Siena. only 1 minute walk to Cathedral.

breakfast wasn’t until 8.45 at earliest unless you wanted to go to a public cafe downstairs. not a great selection. because of distance from station you need a taxi. I asked for one the night before and the receptionist couldn’t get one and suggested we get the bus! bus was 15 mins walk up and down hill. not possible with luggage. lady who served breakfast managed to get us a taxi earlier next morning. but that is a big problem if you are staying here with luggage. . we gave a lift to another couple who were staying and didn’t have a taxi. I suggest booking a taxi several days early.

The properties location was incredible, it’s right in the heart of Sienna. We were fortunate enough to have our room upgraded which was delightful. The roof terrace is cosy and has a wondeful view of Sienna. The staff were very friendly. Also, the property kindly arranged a local parking for us just outside Sienna and we were dropped off to the hotel. Highly recommend and we will come back again!

A converted bed and breakfast on the third floor of a historic building, centrally located in Siena. The staff are very responsive and helpful. As it's a bed and breakfast, you're certainly not going to get the corporate hotel experience with all of the amenities. One big perk is that they do provide a Netflix log-in on the TV, which was nice. The room was clean and the common area is beautiful. It's centrally located in Siena and around the corner from some great restaurants. The breakfast was great - we ordered boiled eggs, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt and coffee and it was all delightful.

The elevator was a bit sketchy (it's a very old building) so prepare to carry your luggage up the three storeys.
