B&B Il Barbero is in a perfect location for Siena -- you can easily walk to the cathedral, main square, and other spots. Sara was an incredible host who went above and beyond. She shares a guest guide with you, which includes phenomenal recommendations for where to eat, what to do, and more. Additionally, we happened to be leaving on a train strike day and she was incredibly helpful in finding us trains that would run and generally recommending what we should do to get to our next destination. We would strongly recommend this spot to anyone and definitely want to return soon!

Everything was amazing!

We liked the property very much! Firstly, host is super friendly, nice and helps a lot with all the informations we needed. Location is great, short walk from the main squares and streets. Also parking (considering that B&B is inside the city walls) is close! We found free parking 5-8 minute walk away. The property also had a nice garden, which can be used anytime to chill, read, hang out … As we stayed in Siena in hot July, chilling there wasnt a good idea in the hottest parts of the day. Evenings were perfect. Room was very clean, bathroom modern and nice, air conditioning worked perfectly (without one is impossible to live in Siena in summer). Room had small fridge too with possibility to buy some drinks. We didnt order breakfast, as we wanted to try all local food in restaurants but… they had option of breakfast in first floor also.

We really enjoyed our stay at B& il Barbero. Sara & Eugenio were perfect hosts. We chose to have breakfast there which was very reasonably priced and ideal for what we wanted. The room was modern and clean with air con which we used during our stay as it was very warm. The location was excellent for getting to the main tourist parts of Siena. Whilst there we took the opportunity to have some time away from the crowds by using the garden which was a lovely setting and nice to bring a bottle of wine back to enjoy which we did.

Great location and beautiful property. The owner and staff were courteous and helpful concerning tricky car access.

The property is promoted with A/C and parking. However during our stay, the A/C was not available. We had to sleep with the balcony doors open for cooling the room but the rain and thunderstorms didn't help us sleep well. The parking is not in the property and thus need to walk a bit. But we were able to leave and pickup bags in front of the property.

The location was excellent - close to the Duomo and Piazza del Campo and some good restaurants - yet in a quiet street. Lovely old house with comfortable large room and comfy bed. Kettle and tea/ coffee provided. Good breakfast overlooking delightful garden which sadly we didn’t have time to use. Finally Sara was so lovely, welcoming and helpful and informative ☺️

Il Barbero is situated in the perfect location for access to the centre of Siena. It is a few minutes walk from the Duomo and Piazza del Campo. The accommodation is very comfortable and extremely clean. Sara the owner is exceptionally helpful, very organised and friendly. I would highly recommend Il Barbero.

A very nice room. I highly recommend the optional breakfast. Theirs was delicious. Great location. Once we got there it was great.

Driving to the hotel and finding it in the middle of the historic area was very challenging. We had to drive in to drop off our luggage and the streets were filled with people who will barely get out of the way of the car.

Very welcoming owners. Splendid location, close to the sights but not right in the middle of the many other tourists. Nice restaurant next door.

In the bathroom, there was no syphon under the sink. As a result it was not well isolated from the smell of the Siena's sewage. (Fortunately, the smell did not reach the room. I mentionned it to staff and I trust they will fix this.)

Clean comfortable accommodation with modern decor. Family run by Sara and Eugine with help from her mum. All really friendly and helpful with nothing too much trouble. Centrally located and has access within the ztl. for loading/unloading plus free parking only 5 minutes walk away. Lovely views across Siena from the lounge and garden.

Accommodation is on 3rd floor up a steep staircase

Great location and environment . The whole apartment is very quiet at night, you can have a good sleep even at 9pm. There were some little problems with the shower jet and one of the window at first cuz previous guest might use them the wrong way, but staff helped fix them. Anyway, recommend it.

Staff could not be reached in the evening, so it is recommended check in as early as possible.
