Bosco Della Spina is such a wonderful place to stay in Tuscany. It's a very peaceful location with beautiful views. It's a great base for exploring by bike and car. It's hard to find the hustle and bustle. Siena is only 25km away, and Buonconvento is 10km away. The accommodation was very fresh and pleasant. The advantage is that you can't decide for breakfast and dinner on the day itself whether or not you want to have them. With an apartment, breakfast isn't included, nor is dinner. It wasn't a problem for us; we had a wonderful feeling of flexibility and freedom. The breakfast and dinner were well-prepared and delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, not only in the restaurant but also at reception and during the wine tasting. The wine tasting is led by Jimena. She tells us about the history, the family, the wine, and the wines with great imagination and love. You get a tour and conclude with a tasting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a real holiday.

I love the landscape, the beautiful moon at night, and the old little town ambiance. It is good to have an option for renting bikes and the pool. Although the place is secluded, you can drive for 30 minutes and be in Siena, or drive for 10-15 minutes and go to the near towns to enjoy delicious food

I would have appreciated having complimentary coffee and a coffee maker in the rooms. Because the reception opens at 8 am, I needed to wait several hours (I am an early bird) to have my coffee. Also, some of the jetsets of the pool did not work out so we could not use them.

Staff especially in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was quite nice. It was outdoor swimming in the summer but they close it with roof in the other season. Thanks to that we could swim also in the cold, rainy days in April. The room was very spacious. It's not very new but that's because it's typical Toscana style building. The location's also good. It's close to all the famous spot and the city. It was already second time visiting this hotel for us but we will visit there again for sure.

View from our bedroom was superb, restaurant was superb and restaurant staff even better! Reception staff were very good and made a ironboard available to us as we were attending a wedding and needed to press some clothes. The pool was lovely especially once the roof had been opened.

There are a lot of steps and steep slopes but I guess that is to be expected with the location of the property. The bathroom was a bit cramped and accessed by a couple of steps which was not so convenient.

Location was amazing , in the middle of Tuscany so you can visit other towns and also still enjoy the tranquility of the place We. Were able to enjoy the bike rentals and explore the area around that way too Management is super helpful and nice . The place is spotless and village is really enchanting Pool area is really good and the extra tennis table and pool table and füsball were all nice

Two little things One is that the apartment part of the facility needs a bit of interior decoration update especially the washroom ( old shower , no hooks etc ) The other part is that breakfast although nice but probably needs a bit of work to make it up to the standards of the other excellent services this hotel has

Adequate parking and friendly staff at reception. My room was nice and new, clean, modern.... good bed and hot water in shower. The usual facilities but also tea/coffee ( rare in Italy ). The complex is spread out in what was/is a small hamlet, with small streets, garden areas and lovely views of the surrounding countryside. A nice pool area with again, nice views. I ate in the restaurant and pasta meal I had was delicious ! Breakfast was also very nice.

Architecturally different, beautiful area. Great facilities. Staff helpful and friendly.

Main living room window only opens electronically at the top a small amount. Understand the architecture of the building, but nice to open windows fully to breath in the view/countryside and the great air. Can’t have window open and close shutters, way built. Need curtains to keep light out, but have natural fresh air.

Lovely picturesque location with a nice view, gardens, pool and a very good restaurant on the premises. The rooms are spacious and rustic, with comfortable beds and equipped with almost everything you might need.. The staff is super friendly, extremely nice with kids - we had 2 lovely dinners in their restaurant. 25 min drive to Siena.

The only thing missing for us was toiletries, the mini pouch of shower gel provided was insufficient for me

Great location about half an hour drive from Siena. Pool was amazing - views from it were idyllic. Very clean and drinks were reasonably priced.

We had problems with our air con - firstly being very noisy intermittently through night then it stopped working half way through the following night. Think we were just unlucky - reception did all they could to help fix it. The bed was extremely hard and therefore uncomfortable. So much so my partner ended up in the sofa bed. Could do with serving food all day and a pizza oven would be fab!

The hotel is located in the mountainous part of Tuscany, in a very quiet and peaceful area. It’s easy to get anywhere by car. The staff are extremely kind and cheerful. The rooms are clean, and the towels were changed daily. The hotel’s restaurant is also very good, and the food is quite tasty. There is a wonderful view from the hotel’s swimming pool.
