I would like to keep Borgo del Cabreo a secret, but I am hopeless at keeping secrets! This has to be one of the most beautiful places we have stayed at. Views, pool, location, breakfast and staff were spectacular. We were looked after by Diane and Michel at Borgo and the lovely Letticia at the sister restaurant. The service was incredible (5 stars and more!), along with recommendations. The family run vineyard's wine tasting is not to be missed. Once again the hosts there were incredible. I believe we were looked after by Maria and Chiara. We also had fortuitous luck in meeting the CEO of this fabulous wine estate, Bruno, who with his wonderful colleagues, explained and shared his knowledge and wine! Thank you! The whole experience was a dream.

It is difficult to improve on perfection. The only criticisms being:- 1. We loved it so much and didn't want to leave. 2. Do take insect repellent as the garden is glorious but attracts nasty mosquitoes!

Our stay at Borgo del Cabreo was truly unforgettable — it felt like waking up in a dream every morning. The entire resort is so beautifully kept, with immaculate gardens, lush greens, and charming pastel-colored buildings that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a peaceful Tuscan fairytale. We especially loved the cozy spot where breakfast was served — every detail felt thoughtful and serene. Even though we visited in April when the weather could be a bit chilly, the swimming pool was wonderfully heated, which made it extra inviting. The entire property exudes luxury and elegance, but in a warm and welcoming way. Our room was spacious, spotless, and full of Italian charm — like something straight out of a royal retreat, yet incredibly comfortable. Waking up every day to panoramic views of vineyards and mountains was nothing short of magical. It brought such a sense of peace and beauty to our mornings. And then there’s the staff — some of the kindest, most caring people we’ve encountered on our travels. There was a minor issue with a beeping smoke detector, but it was fixed promptly by the handyman. To our surprise, we even received a generous discount and a bottle of wine as an apology — such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel genuinely cared for and spoiled. If you’re looking for a quiet, luxurious, and soul-soothing getaway, Borgo del Cabreo is it. We couldn’t recommend it more. We left with hearts full of gratitude — and already dreaming of our return.

Although the variety and quality of the food was perfect, I’d prefer my food warm. My tip for improvement would be to use hot trays or a system that keeps the delicious food warm.

I never imagined I would get the chance to stay at such a wonderful hotel in this world. This place is truly worth visiting. I absolutely loved the countryside charm of the town, and the hotel itself was beautifully decorated and surrounded by a wide variety of plants and flowers. The outdoor pool overlooked vineyards and offered a stunning Tuscan wine-country atmosphere. The food was varied and quite delicious. I was especially impressed that the staff upgraded my room for free — it meant so much to me. Every staff member treated me like family, offering heartfelt assistance throughout my stay. One of the highlights was joining the cooking class, which allowed me to deeply connect with Italian culture. The chef was so kind and helpful, and both the male and female staff were incredibly supportive in every way. I truly loved this experience — so much that it brought tears to my eyes. If I ever have the chance, I would absolutely love to return.

We were upgraded from a superior double room to the villa, which was an amazing surprise. The room was incredible, breakfast was delicious and I managed to find time for a dip in the lovely pool which is heated so can be swum in whenever you stay. We also went for dinner at the sister hotel restaurant which was a wonderful experience, and we did a wine tasting at Tenute Folonari and got to sample some of the Cabreo wines - including the Pietra and Supertuscan. The wines were excellent, we were very sad to not have space in our luggage to take them home.

This place truly exceeded our expectations. We were here on honeymoon and the property was so beautiful and romantic. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff was so friendly. The room was gorgeous and so spacious! We also had dinner at the sister property up the road and it was amazing. The views were peak Tuscany. Almost didnt want to leave the pool. Definitely want to return.

I loved everything about the property. So beautiful. Surrounded by lavender. You can even smell it while swimming jn the pool. The room was gorgeous. The views are breathtaking, especially from the restaurant. The food is incredible. The staff were beyond amazing. My husband and I are already planning a stay here for next summer. Can’t wait to go back.

Lovely welcome from the start of our stay to the end. Cannot recommend the Borgo highly enough. The breakfast was fantastic. So much choice and all the ingredients were so fresh. Loved the fresh orange juice too. The pool was in an idyllic setting and lovely and warm. The views from the rooms were amazing across the rolling Tuscan hills. Can easily walk up to the Hotels' restaurant or down into Grevè. The accommodation is well thought out and beautifully done. All the staff are very welcoming.

We had the most amazing time at Borgo Del Cabreo. After a long drive from Rome we were welcomed by the most beautiful garden and guest houses against breathtaking scenery of vineyards and villages. Michele who checked us in gave us the most helpful tips and recommendations, including the best parking spot in Florence. The villa was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast had a great selection of fruits, pastry, eggs. The staff was thoughtful and attentive; they even came out with little birthday cakes with candles and sang happy birthday to us because Michele noticed our birth dates on our passports.

Absolutely amazing, we travelled to many places and we have to really think to find a better one that this Borgo del Cabreo. Quiet, not overcrowded, but you have the village very close to in case you want more activities to do. Overall excellent quality, clean. You have in a reasonable reach by car many places such as Firenze, Siena, San Gimignano,… To sum up, a true gem which we would try to come back at the next opportunity when we are in Italy.
