Anima Franca was an absolute gem of a B&B from start to finish. Our hosts were super friendly and very helpful. The place is newly renovated, bright, cool, and squeaky clean. The breakfast was simple but delicious (fresh baked bread and croissants, meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurt, good coffee, and a variety of tea), and although it was served from 8 to 10AM, when we mentioned we were starting out early, the hosts were more than happy to accommodate us. There were also a lot of little touches such as extra pillows, a dispenser in the kitchen where we could fill our water bottles with natural or mineral water, a small fridge where we could buy cold beer or Prosecco on an 'honour system', just to mention a few. Our room was quite spacious (unusual for Italy), and the blackout blinds worked REALLY well for both light and noise! (We had a few roosters next door that we thought we might hear in the mornings, but it turned out the room was so quiet we couldn't hear anything at all! Complete silence!) Our queen-sized bed was also the most comfortable we had out of the three hotels we stayed at while in Italy. They also have an immaculately kept pool out back, which was sooooo necessary, as we were there during the heat wave in July. And the air-conditioning worked really well! We could not say the same of the other hotels. We enjoyed it here so much that we ended up cancelling our last night in Florence and staying here an extra night. Thank you, Hélène and Pierluigi! We will definitely be back on our next stay in Greve!

The only thing I would recommend would be to add a few umbrellas by the pool.

The accomodation exceeded my expectations as it was super technological. The couple running the place are extremely friendly and organised, I had a lovely conversation with the lady owner and she was extremely helpful even with unusual requests (like a make-up brush or she offered a slice of fresh cake of the breakfast as a snack in the middle of the afternoon since I hadn't eaten at lunch). The breakfast was quite rich and to my satisfaction, especially the home-made apple cake. I absolutely recommend this place and I will return if I will be in the same area.

Location was PERFECT. So close to the city center of Greve and also within walking distance (if you're up for a bit of a challenging hike!) to Casetllo di Verrazzano for an INCREDIBLE wine tasting/tour! Host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and resourceful. The accommodation was large, quiet, and super clean. Breakfast was lovely too - delicious croissants, meants, cheeses, coffee, and juice.

Greve is quaint and beautiful and Anima Franca fits right in. The place is beautiful, very modern and clean with very thoughtful amenities. The owners Helene and Pierluigi were lovely. We had booked a wine tasting at Castello di Verrazzano that was a short drive away as per their recommendation. It was a beautiful experience—thanks yo Pierluigi’s recommendation. What was even lovely was that the couple drove us and pick us up from the place. Very special. Will come back again.

The owners were lovely. Pool was perfect for a hot day. Easy walk to the center of town. Eco-friendly property. The bed was very comfortable. If we are in Greve we would definitely stay again. A little side bonus the hair dryer in our room was great. :)

The bathroom layout is a little awkward but not enough to prevent us from staying again.

The room size was very good for a family of 3 with 2 separate rooms (one with a double bed and the other with a single bed). The air conditioning was functioning and cooled the room quickly for the hot summer days. There is provision for car parking inside the property, with additional free street parking options just outside. Breakfast was adequate and typical European/Italian breakfast. We had a pleasant interaction with the owners and enjoyed our stay here. The whole B&B looks and feels very new and fresh and we can see it is being painstakingly maintained by the owners.

Nothing in particular; although some may miss a bidet in the bathroom.

Hélène was an excellent host. The pool area and surrounding area were under renovation during our 3 day stay but one can expect that in the near future with renovations complete and warm sunny weather the outside will be as nice as the inside. Breakfast was very good and the indoor breakfast room is spacious and pleasant. There was heavy rain and flooding in the Emilia-Romagna region which was our next stop. Hélène was kind enough to contact our lodging host in Longiano to check conditions for us. She also loaned me her umbrella which promptly stopped the rain.

Everything was just perfect. Very nice modern B&B. Nice swimming pool. My room was super big clean comfortable bed and Airco was working perfectly and quite. The owners were very friendly and gave me a lot of information and make me feel very good. Really nice experience and I will go back on my next trip.

The Apartment is clean and modern. All the facilities one needs are provided. There is a small salty water pool outside that you can cool off after visiting the village. The hosts were friendly. We had a very early check in but they didn't mind it. Breakfast was simple and fresh. Recommended 10/10

I wish I could give this place a 12/10. Simply stunning property, and Gianluigi and his wife were just lovely. The property is every bit as beautiful as the room, it’s as if you were in a movie. Even their free parking lot is lovely, and the breakfast was great, easily one of my favorite places in Italy, would love to go back, can’t say enough about it
