Breakfast was fantastic, Barbara was the ultimate hostess. We loved our waitress in the evening, the food was fantastic. The pool was exactly what we needed for this part of our holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting in the cave with Eleanora. The man in reception who gave us some tips as to where to go and what to see was so helpful. It was a joy to meet the owners on our last night. Staying here was the highlight of our month long European holiday, if we return to this part of Italy again, we won't hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable, wonderful views and scenery, fantastic food and most of all the staff were so happy and friendly they made us feel like family. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool area was spotless and cleaned regularly. The hotel was situated in a beautiful area of Tuscany part of the Chianti wine road. The hotel has its own wine and olive oil produced from its own grounds, the quality is excellent. Even though the hotel restaurant was closed on Wednesdays the staff made sure arrangements were made for us to eat at other good local restaurants if we wanted. We were very sad to leave this idyllic place. We WILL be going back to Relais Poggio Borgoni.

Absolutely nothing

The property us beautiful in every way. The restaurant at the villa is excellent, would highly recommend, the staff is phenomenal so friendly and accommodating. The location is a great base for exploring the Tuscany region. The views are beautiful!

The only one thing that I would mention is the bed in our room was extremely hard, I know Europe in general can be notorious for having uncomfortable beds, but this bed was hard. The property is so beautiful in every way, a better mattress would make the stay perfection.

The stunning location among the Tuscan hills, the beautiful pool with amazing views, and the charming rooms. Breakfast was fantastic, with freshly baked cakes and local products every morning. The staff were incredibly friendly and made our stay extra special. The wine tasting on the estate was an absolute highlight, as well as the delicious melanzane parmigiana. The wines served at dinner were exceptional too.

That we had to leave!

It was really great. Why did I only discover this place now? I happened to find it by chance, and luckily there was a room available for one night, so I booked it and stayed just for a night. But if I get the chance next time (and even if I don't, I'll make one), I will definitely visit again. The hot Tuscan sun, the beautiful olive trees, the antique-style accommodation, the friendly staff, the delicious dinner, and the guest-only swimming pool that cooled us off—all of this made it a happy day even though it was just one day out of 365. Since I had a rental car, it was easy to find the place, but it would be difficult to visit without a car. That's why it's so quiet.

We’re a couple arrived for three nights. The place is more them beautiful, every room has an amazing view as soon as you step outside. The room is spacious and has everything one needs. The breakfast is excellent and varied. The whole perimeter looks like a postcard. But the best part is Francesco. He was Kind, charming, patient, knowledgeable, happy to assist with any question and made our trip even more successful. We will definitely be back!

This is one of the most beautiful and well maintained properties I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The attention to detail along with the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff was top notch. Everyone went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and get the most out of your stay. The restaurant served amazing food both for breakfast and for dinner. We could have stayed at Relais for our entire vacation and been more than happy. We will most def be back.

That we had to leave

Had an amazing week at the property, a stunning location. We hired a little car for the week and the location is so central to everywhere in Tuscany for days trips. The onsite restaurant is amazing some of the best food we had our entire trip of Italy and the staff were so lovely.

Lack of soundproofing could hear everything from next door and the rooms above.

Our stay here was absolutely faultless. The location was breathtaking and the staff go out of their way to ensure your stay is exceptional. It’s not too far from Florence and yet it feels like you’re tucked away in a peaceful, Tuscan heaven. The restaurant here was also brilliant! I strongly recommend doing the cooking class and wine tasting on offer here. It was exquisite!

A very nice Albergo on the tuscan country side for "wine lovers". The reception was very warm and friendly. We were given a beautiful room, larger than the one we have booked. Well decorated with old furniture and an open chimney, the room overlooks the countryside and has a functional and modern bathroom. Everything was very clean and well cared. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant just across the terrasse (10m). Dinner in front of log fire with delicious regional food and the excellent wine produced on the property! Great and quiet night - the bed was very good. Breakfast takes place in the restaurant as well. Delicious coffee in all ways you might like, tea, milk, fresh juice, fruits, diary products, cakes, marmelade, cheese and ham ... a large choice, served again in front of the chimney with a morning log fire! A very nice and attentive service, difficult to decide to leave this place. For sure, we shall be back soon! Not to be forgotten : you can buy olive oil and the beautiful selection of wine of the property in the reception !
