Location was perfect, right next to the train station and within a twenty minute walk of the majority of landmarks. Street behind also has some wonderful restaurants that are beyond where most tourists would roam, so food is great quality and good prices. Balcony view was absolutely amazing both day and night. Staff were extremely helpful and the desk is manned 24/7. Had an issue with the shower fitting on the first night but we mentioned this to reception and it was fixed the next morning. Bed and pillows were extremely comfy and got a great night's sleep every night.

Room is on the smaller side and is a little bit dated, but this definitely wasn't a major issue. Air conditioning is limited to heating only in January but we were made aware of this by the hotel and the balcony door provided more than enough ventilation.

Lucca at the front desk was an incredible host. He took excellent care of our needs. His recommendations were spot on. The view from the rooftop was incredible. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety. And the bed was the most comfy of all the places we stayed in Italy during our holiday vacation. The hotel is situation within easy walking distance to all major attractions in Florence.

For me personally, I have a lot of respiratory issues and allergies. Unfortunately the rooms were scented with perfume of some kind which was difficult for me and I could only stay one night for this reason.

The location is great for exploring the city and S.M.N. train station is in close proximity. We had a nice large room and everything was very clean. The hotel staff is very friendly :-)

Our neighbours were a bit loud in the late evening as was the street life (not for everyone a problem). And: We missed the roof-top terrace, which was being renovated (march 2025). So, if you want to book this hotel in the next days only because of the city view from its terrace, better ask before.

Location

Room 507, bathroom has most amazing view, but you can’t open window as shower in way. Balcony needs a bit of greenery and some TLC. Not all electric plugs worked, maybe time to invest in some USB plug adapters it is 2024. Maybe a bigger TV, very limited. Shower surround not squared off so doors don’t close properly, waterproof shower seal coming away needs repair. All little things that easily fixed if the management worked on the detail. Too many little issues which distract from the shabby chic and the fabulous location

Very conveniently located near the main station, and 10-15 minutes walk to the cathedral and museums. There are lots of restaurants nearby. The staffs at the reception were friendly.

A little more variety of food in the breakfast, such as hot food would be a great plus. There was a heater in the bathroom, but not in the bedroom, and I felt a little cold at night.

This property is a bit on older side, but very well maintained. Everyone as soooooo polite and accommodating. Bed Sheets are amazing ! The way don’t have shampoo(only 2 in 1) and conditioner . The roof top terrace was stunning !!!! The location is perfect only 5 min walk from train station , duomo , pointe vecchio and all restaurants . They have amazing coffee for breakfast which is big plus (oh well we ate in Italy :))

The hotel is very very lovely and to be recommended. Location is perfect, very close to the center, maybe in around 7-8 minutes (walking) you reach the cathedral. Room is big and clean, we even got a room with a terrace, which was nice surprise. Breakfast not big, but you have everything you need! Wifi on the 3rd floor was with a good signal. Overall a very good hotel with a helpful staff.

Airconditionar in our room was not working properly and could not be regulated. Thankfully the reception staff was very helpful and immidiately gave us a Ventilator, so we can keep the room cold.
