Meals could be taken indoors or out. Breakfast mostly provided continental choices with scrambled egg and bacon being the only hot choices during our stay. Plenty fresh fruit, pancake maker, drinks from machines, food and drinks were constantly being restocked. The menu for evening meal offered something for all tastes and was different from what was being offered in the city restaurants. Food was lovely, nicely presented and good value. All staff provided excellent service, any requests were dealt with promptly. The bar area provided daily nibbles and staff created a nice atmosphere for relaxing on the terrace. Our room looked over the terrace and view of city, wonderful. Bathroom was appointed with modern fittings, plenty toiletries provided. Room was comfortable and spacious with plenty of drawers and hanging space. Location worked well for us, 20 minute walk into centre with option of bus stops nearby. Taxi cost 10 euros from the train/bus station which was good value. Hotel has nice grounds to walk through and pool area was partially grassed or paved. Hotel was positioned in a pleasant residential area.

There is some attention required to outdoor steps and paving. There was a good selection of teas provided in the room, however no coffee.

Breakfast was quite good, wide choices and a decent quality of products dispensed. Beds confortabes and we got a good rest. from the large terrace the view on Siena was nice.

Having booked a room with twin beds I got a room with to beds which could be separated, but set joined together with queen size bed sheets and bed cover, which it make impossible to be separated. Asked to change room with twins beds and got another room with the same issue. Consider that, the rooms which we received are set on a dependance I have then asked to avoid a third room with same issue, to prior sent someone from the staff to check first and make sure the twin beds are made with separated linen. Finally I got a room with the right separeted twin beds.

This is our second time in Garden Hotel. We liked: - the amazing view of Siena’s skyline . - Very well organized Hotel and - Staff are very friendly and try to accommodate your needs (Restaurant and Hotel) - if you want you don’t have to leave the hotel and grounds at all - free parking - pool (with bar) - the cakes from breakfast - the lunch (simple and good value for money) - the shower gel in bathrooms is like no other

Some prices are a bit high or a a little unbalanced (beer is more expensive than wine), prices at the pool are like in the restaurant/hotel. The Restaurant can be an acquired taste

Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was very attentive & ensured that all dishes were refreshed promptly. Pool area was also wonderful. This is a very good place to relax after days of spent touring the area.

The sole dinner that we had was very disappointing. Based on the very well-prepared breakfasts, we expected a similar experience at dinner. Unfortunately, our very expensive meal was not worth the price. The disappointment was made worse by the fact that our rather surly waiter never returned to inquire about our meal. As a result, we never returned for dinner.

The pool was such a blessing during the extreme heat in Siena, offering beautiful clean waters, available lounges and shade if wanted. The room was very comfortable, charming, well equipped. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help us with a traumatic situation. They were very available to provide info about getting around in Siena. My friend and I loved this hotel. A bit far from the centre of the city but it was so quiet surrounded by a wonderful forested area. Bus access to the old city was easy.

There was no mirror in the bedroom but such a small detail that it is hardly worth mentioning.

The hotel is set on a beautiful, large acreage. The room was a good size and extremely comfortable. The bedding was very comfortable as well. Breakfast was fabulous - great variety and service. The pool was a great size and had plenty of sun chairs for guests. Parking is free and a great help for those who have cars. Location was out of town so quiet and ambient.

Bathroom shower kept flooding with water and temperature was not consistent. The gardens need some upkeep. Sound from corridors was a bit noisy at times. Tennis court was unusable.

It was a beautiful property, including a beautiful pool area, outside seating, and beautiful gardens. It was pouring rain while we were there so we couldn’t take advantage of any of that. But it sure looked pretty! The cocktail bar was very pretty and the bartender was outstanding! We had a lot of fun. Breakfast buffet was outstanding, and we took full advantage of that. It was very easy to park our car right there- also a huge bonus!

The only thing I can think of is that it was a long walk down to the sights. 30 minutes.

Breakfast was excellent , sitting on the terrace in morning Nice pool and plenty of Sun loungers Bar and staff were great, reasonable prices again sitting outside, cocktails excellent Restaurant was great food

Room a little tired, attic style room window too small and curtains didn’t fit so difficult to open, Air on unit noisy and not so effective Hotel grounds need some attention, just smarting up as expected with 4 star rating Seats and benches need clean & painting as the gardens would be great to enjoy

This place was absolutely incredible. We got to have an Italian villa experience that we had dreamed of. The staff were absolutely amazing, they were so attentive and made our stay so much better. The facilities are brilliant. The food was so delicious. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms such a great size. Location was brilliant because we could walk to Sienna (30min walk but super simple). I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Pool was very good as was the terrace and bar area. Nice quiet location. About a 35 min walk to the centre 15mins along road and then the rest in the old city which was a nice amble. Taxi to the centre was 12 euros.

Bed was too hard for comfort - this was in the main building (someone else commented on this as well)
