We had an excellent time here it is so peaceful with amazing views but also really close to Siena so you have the best of both worlds. Apartment was peaceful and private and lovely inside and outside. Good supermarket, bakery and pizza down the hill and also a nice restaurant on site for dinner at a separate property if you don't want to go further. Very good self catering facilties, kitchen really well equipped and lots of helpful touches, tablecloth etc. You can cook properly. By the pool area there are lots of thoughtful communal bbq/picnic items to use and great laundry area. Staff available and very helpful if you need something via WhatsApp. Thank you!! The photos/explanations of the property layout and different apartments are not that clear however once you are there it is all very obvious and it works really well the estate is beautiful and everything is very thoughtfully done and maintained.

Magical surroundings, nice walking, and the staff was wonderful. The pool was really clean, and provided sun and shade.

The door did not lock, but it felt safe to leave things. I would think it is repaired by now. Also, the kitchen was sparse, with only a few packets of salt and pepper, sugar for coffee. Since it is a drive to Siena, and really in the country, more coffee options such as a French press, salt and pepper, sugar and more dishwashing machine soap is expected.

Quiet, scenic location about 10 minutes drive from Siena city centre. Garden area with a great view. Remote controlled gate for the parking area. Comfortable apartment with good facilities including oven and hob for cooking. I happened to stay next door to the washing machine room, which was very handy.

Very little. The TV is showing its age and needs replacing but that's about it.

We love everything about this place. We will visit Siena often from now on since our daughter started studying there. CasaLeTolfe Residence will always be our first choice to stay. If they have the room, we'll take it. Special thanks to Ms Alex for all her help. Thanks to her our first time in Siena, our daughter's new beginning turn to special, memorable time for our family.

Wonderful experience! You need a car or a bicycle to go. We all did enjoy Toskana's green fields and nature! Tolfe residence is worth to visit, old buildings, restored with good taste and care for history and tradition! And comfortable for modern life needs also.

The apartment is lovely and the service is impeccable. We stayed one night and had a great time. Its perfect if you wanna get away from all the noise of the cities anf still be able to visit the city centre in Siena within 10-15 minutes by car.

Old country building and swimming pool in the olive garden with a great view, A very quiet place

The apartment with so-called air conditioning (it is a very basic moveable device, too small for this heat) was too hot. Fortunately, we were offered another room after the first night. Thank you for that.

We loved our 2 night stay here! It was a beautiful property, parking was good, wifi was good, it was clean, the restaurant was great especially on “pizza night”! The mother/son duo that checked us in and out were wonderful! We would definitely stay here again!

We loved everything. Oh and they have a washing machine you can use!

We loved the atmosphere of the old mansion and the landscape around it. It is very close to Siena! A good place to stay!

We did not stay in the main house, so the pool was far away.

I liked the swimming pool, the location and the whole set up. we honestly felt so at ease and the restaurant was fantastic… although there was a limited choice, it shows the food was cooked with love. the staff were lovely to deal with and we had a WhatsApp contact as our accommodation was 500m from the reception. great views from our room! something I’d never seen before - the sunset and sunrise over vineyards. the area was very safe and required a passcode to get in and park the car up - we were very at ease. our accommodation had a lovely communal balcony area to eat at and have a few drinks. only a short drive from Siena. it wouldn’t have been possible to stay here without a car be aware

the reception staff trying to rush us out during check out. we were contacted by phone and through booking.com to leave and pay up, even though I contacted them and said we would be 30 minutes late due to having a very young child with us. the reception staff also didn’t have fantastic English. the air con was just a plug in fan - please be aware!
