This villa is simply unforgettable. Located just outside Siena’s transport zone, it offers breathtaking views over the city and the surrounding Tuscan countryside that we couldn’t get enough of. There is free car parking nearby, which is ideal if you have a higher vehicle or your own car and want to explore the wider Siena area at your own pace. The villa itself combines old-world charm with all the modern comforts you need. The rooms were lovely and cozy, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast in the garden was peaceful and delicious. The staff were fantastic, expertly organizing our trips and taxis, which made getting around Siena so easy. My wife and I stayed three nights and truly enjoyed every moment. Definitely a five-star experience.

Minor point but no lift.

The hotel is an old mansion converted to a hotel and located just outside the old town. The location meant a 10 minute walk to get into the old town, but there were a lot of advantages being outside the old town, including the lovely accommodations (our room had a nice view of the old town on the hill) and relatively easy to reach the hotel or, as in our case, drive in and out as we toured other towns in the area. We had one of their deluxe rooms with balcony which was quite large with a separate entry room (although I saw some of the smaller rooms that looked like a postage stamp so be careful with choosing that for the price). It also had a small bacony you could step out on with the view of the town as I mentioned. The ceilings in our room where huge..must have been 15-20 feet high. Marble everywhere. The bathroom was reasonably large other than the shower..which as in many other converted hotels is like 2 feet by 2 feet. Not a lot of room for a bigger guy like me to move around…let alone bend over to pickup the soap, so keep that in mind. Bed was comfortable and the room had a nice desk with plugs available..as did each nightstand. They also have a nice garden, which I gather you can have breakfast in..except we had a bit of rain and it was a bit chilly in the morning so they served breakfast inside. The hotel website photos are indicative of the room we had and the hotel overall. We had reserved parking in advance..which was a good idea as they really only have one parking space. Breakfast buffet had a great selection of pastries, cakes, cheese, meat etc…just no hot food. Service..from the front desk staff to housekeeping..were all friendly, helpful and provided excellent service. Overall, I cannot think of any better hotel to choose when staying in Siena

Nothing at all was bad or needed improvement...that is what made this stay perfect..although the small shower leaves a lot to be desired...but nothing that they can do about that. its one of those things we have found in Italy from time to time at older converted mansions, villas etc.

location was 15 minute walk to Old Town; room was clean with window that opened, view to lovely garden, featherbeds on beds, friendly & helpful staff, breakfast on the terrace….AND a rooftop terrace with the most STUNNING view of Siena! (see photo below)

Villa Elda is a perfect place to stay in Siena. It's just a short walk from the city center, in a very nice neighborhood, and enjoys a great view of the city. The staff was friendly and professional, the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was efficient but more than ample.

The showers are very small - but manageable. The little shelves for shampoo and soap don't work very well which adds to the challenge. Our biggest concern was that the staff at check-in did not tell us about the incredible veranda on the roof top. We didn't discover it until the morning we checked out (when I went exploring). They have tables and chairs, and the view of the city has to be one of the best anywhere. Well above the trees, and with a fabulous view of the Siena skyline. Don't miss it!

Lovely warm welcome and information provided by reception. Great location when driving to Siena. Loads of on-street parking near the hotel and a lovely scenic walk into the old town. Room was decorated nicely and it was very clean.

The shower door falling off, bed was very very hard and the bread/cake at breakfast was stale/dry. There was no air-con in the room. It was only 27 degrees when we visited but perhaps putting fans in the wardrobe for people to use would help.

Excellent central but quiet siena location. Easy to park for free. Kind welcoming staff. Nice garden for breakfast. Simple but elegant place

Could have had better toiletries available - hair conditioner and moisturiser would have been good for a last minute booking like I did. But that is a very small thing.

The best part of the hotel is the terrace, with an amazing view of Siena city. It's on a super quiet area with an amazing view and some free parks in front of the hotel. It's 15mins on walk to the city center. Rooms are stylish and renewed. The whole hotel is clean.

The rainy day but it's not fault of the hotel of course ahah

Location and room.

Tea, coffee, and toiletries not replenished even though we were there for 5 days. We had a room with a balcony, but unfortunately, we couldn't sit on it as we were unable to open the door to get a chair out as lock broken. We were also not informed about building work being carried out across the road. 0730 start 1700 finish with builders on the roof looking straight into our room.
