The apartment is huge and warm. Big kitchen. A jacuzzi and a sauna inside. All the required facilities for a family are in place. The staff is very helpful and kind. The swimming pool and its opening hours are great. The indoor playground is amazing. The local beer is great. The nearby city Heimbach is a beautiful place with lovely people.

The place is awesome, just a few things to take in consideration: - The most significant disadvantage is the local wifi! It is bad and not stable. It is an open network with a login/welcome page, which disconnects very often, sometimes every 5-10 minutes. The speed isn't stable as well. The mobile connection could be better as well. - The parking is far away from the apartment (You can come closer to un/load stuff though) - The place is relatively far away from big cities (Koln, Bonn, Aachen) - Generally that side of Germany is very industrial, and so does the populaion in many smaller cities around. There are many beautiful small towns and villages around though, like Monschau or a few towns up in the mountains.

In General We were quite happy about our stay BUT there are a few things that definitely need improvement for us to visit again with out toddlers.. - You cannot enter the house area freely with your car but need to contact the reception every time. And sometimes they are not there.. - heating is automatically switched off in the night. Not good in 0 degree winter. - mattress is crap.. I don't mean just soft. It's the kind of cheap mattress that provides no support at all. Weird choice for such beautiful resort. - restaurant food way toooo salty.

The villa was incredible—spotlessly clean, fully equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, and even more spacious than advertised. The sauna was a wonderful bonus—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was great—very close to a fabulous mountain biking route and the lake. The amenities were excellent, especially for children. Bike rentals were affordable, and the bikes were in really great condition. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. While the bedrooms didn’t have the best view, the scenery from the balcony and living room was absolutely amazing.

I do have a couple of suggestions: it would be great if the doors and windows had screens to keep out flies, and it would be nice if the on-site shop offered some fresh fruit.

The location is hugged by mountains, giving a breath taking view from the balcony. The apartment is plenty of space, with bedrooms and a bathtub. Kitchen is equipped with plenty of glassware and tableware. It is a dishwasher and they give you a few tablets to use. The stove is large, and the pans and pots are enough to make a good meal. The kitchen is with a kettle, coffee pot, coffee machine and a toaster. We appreciate the large sitting area and dining table. There is a supermarket (Netto, edeka) about 10 mins drive.

The pillows are small and thin - not very comfortable. I'd bring my own. They do not provide anything (not even hand soap). The tv screen is outdated and small (not that u need it!). There are a lot of stairs and steep hills, it was okay for us but not for the mothers in the group.

We liked the size of the apartment, it was huge and had a lovely view. We loved the town and the price was very good. We stayed for the weekend as a group and we were really happy with having access to a pool

We called beforehand to tell the property we would check in late, the customer service screamed “GEIN ENGLISH” and hung up. We had to ask a German person around us to speak to customer service on our behalf. The return answer was that check in after 8 is not a problem. We arrived and called the number on the intercom and waited while the bell rang for 40 minutes in the freezing snow. This was not pleasant. The pool is also not heated but there is a steam room. The sauna was not in function while we wanted to use it. Our friends also rented another house/room that had a sauna in it while ours didn’t and we paid the same price for our rooms. Although all of these negative points made us frustrated, the beautiful scenery made up for it.

We had a great stay at the resort! Everything was just perfect. We loved the spacious, bright and clean apartment, with a good and well-equipped kitchen, bathroom with sauna and whirlpool and the beautiful view over the hills of the Eifel. We were lucky to have two clear nights with stars and a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The market on the park opens at 8 in the morning and has many fresh bread options for a nice breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is great! There are many hiking trails that you can start directly from the resort and more within a short drive. The beautiful cities of Aachen and Monchau are about 40 minutes away by car. We recommend this place!

Overall its a great stay with family especially for kids. I will definitely visit with my baby again. Great location with amazing views, kids specially will love it with lots of things to do. Apartments are latest with good equipment's and location is easily accessible by public transport.

I found only 2 challenges which can be improved: 1. Restaurant: During our stay, Heimbacher Brauhaus was only open and was hard to find table every day. Also the taste of food wasnt great and justifying the cost of food. 2. CheckIN: I was told to pay 18euros for early checkIN(1 hr 30mins early) which was never informed or confirmed with me earlier. This was strange and surprising felt weird to pay when we reached.

New houses, very clean and spacious. We had the Urftsee Luxus Villas. The location is nice, lots of opportunities to explore the area on foot. The circular small train was also very useful when the kids get tired.

Parking was a problem, the one closer to our house was too small and finding a spot was challenging. The big one was 10 minutes walking uphill, on a very steep hill. The facilities for kids are not enough when the weather is bad (and in this region, it can be bed on some days, with lots of wind and rain).

Lovely resort in a beautiful location. We checked in late and so had to call - would be good to be able to do that via email but it worked ok. Apartment was really spacious and comfortable, with a lovely balcony to enjoy the views. Shop was well stocked, not cheap but you wouldn't expect it to be. Restaurants were ok.

If you contact the company in advance, it's a bit tricky to get to the right resort, and auto replies are all in Dutch (as it is a Dutch company). Once I managed to get through to the resort reception they were very helpful.

Spacious apartment with most of the necessities. Good facilities and programs for young kids. View from the balcony is great.

Perhaps the resort can provide a little bit more necessities such as toilet paper, trash bags, dish washing detergent (small package), also replacement of towels would make the trip easier. Sauna was never open during my one week stay.
