Location odd but actually very good with everything you need near by. Rooms good size and comfortable Bar and other facilities good, staff very friendly. Free parking that not many hotels in the area have. Good selection of breakfasts. Fair price not as good as others but not expensive.

The evening meal was disappointing, the taste was good but only a buffet on without a selection, was a bit cold and the cost was above what it should have been for the quality, my advice would be to walk up the road to a nice little Italian restaurant 1km away. The room was generally clean but under the bed and bedside table hadn't been cleaned in a long time so any clothes placed under there became very dusty, dirty and covered in fluff. Bathroom was quite small for larger people that could be a problem but for most it was perfectly fine.

Location is very close to Phantasialand, about 5-6 min by car. Plus in 10 min walk there’s a train station that can take you directly to downtown Köln (Cologne). It will take about 30 min. And trains arrive very often. Rooms are clean, service and personnel are very friendly. Though cleaning people we met spoke neither German nor English. Breakfasts were very good with variety of choices.

Somehow the room entrance is very narrow and we all hit our elbows and shoulders at the bathroom door handle when entering the room. Another thing is also the security. You don’t use your room card for the elevator or the stairs which means anyone can enter the building.

We came to Bruhl literally just to visit Phantasialand and was very happy with the hotel! I admit the reviews are a little misleading about how close the theme park is. it's about a 48 minute walk from the hotel! But not many people seem to mention on the reviews there's a public bus (#985) you can catch at the bus stop that's nearly directly outside the hotel (or you could walk into the centre of Bruhl and catch the shuttle bus which would take a lot longer) The public bus is not expensive, but I've noticed in busy times the driver just seems to let people on for free. Takes no longer than 5 minutes by bus! The staff members were very helpful giving us information on the buses. The breakfast had a great selection and was a great bonus to our stay. Beds super big and comfy and also had AC! Netto supermarket right next door (but we found the HIT supermarket across the road was a lot better)

If I'm being picky, the decor is a little bit dated. Also sucks not to have your own kettle in the room. Not a ton to do around that area other than PL.

The breakfast was so rich, it was the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. The hotel is so peaceful and comfortable that you can wake up in the morning and listen to the birds. Discount stores and pharmacies are located next to the hotel, making it easy to shop for daily necessities. Free parking is really convenient for us and can save some money.

Hotels could do a better job of daily room cleaning. Sometimes the waiter is asked to change the drinking water, but they can not get the corresponding, in addition, some supplies for bathing are often not provided.

The breakfast was really good, it had a lot of options like fruits, breads, kinds of honey, eggs, and pancakes, as well as beverages. The spa was also nice, though there was a bit of confusion about where the bathrobes were, in the end, they were in the bedroom. Somehow we were expecting some slippers provided by the hotel to go to the spa, but there were none, so we would recommend you take flip-flops with you. The comfort of the mattress was really good for me, I like firm mattresses and I was able to sleep really well, my husband, on the other hand, would have preferred for it to be a bit softer.

The room had a silverfish, I hate them so my husband had to chase it and get rid of it. Also as mentioned earlier, there are no slippers provided by the hotel for going to the spa, which in a sense is a plus to make it environmentally friendly.

The hotel was clean and seemed quite recently renovated.The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed for 1 night.

I found the design of the shower/bathroom quite weird where you get really little privacy due to was too much glass and open space there. The worst part for me was the bathroom with a door that doesn't close from the floor all the way to the ceiling. There is space above therefore you have absolutely no privacy in the bathroom when you stay with someone in the room. That was a very weird experience and I wouldn't like to repeat.

The room was quite spacious and definitely enough for two people. Thought the beds were very comfortable and were enjoyable to sleep on. The bathroom was quite nice and the shower worked well and the free shower gel/shampoo and hand wash in the bathroom were both nice and more than usable. Thankfully, the hotel is really quite close to Phantasialand which is what we came to Brühl for and was very easy to get to from the hotel - there is a bus stop which will take you there about 2 minutes from the hotel and even the walk is more than doable albeit up a steep hill. Also nearby are a tram station which allowed us to get all the way into Köln for little money and Brühl station which did the same thing for the same price, its just a longer walk but would also let you go straight to the airport. We both thought the breakfast was absolutely amazing and was definitely a highlight. All of it was really tasty and I looked forward to waking up and being able to eat the breakfast that they had available. All of the cooked food was all really tasty and the eggs weren’t mushy or overcooked. I thought croissants were incredible and everything else was great too.

The bathroom was a little dirty with a hole in the wall above the door and a large fly stuck to the paint. Also the pillows didnt have much substance but were easily sleepable on

Breakfast was very good. Enough choices. Dinner is also must try. Our first night we had dinner at the hotel. It was buffet dinner.

I didn't like when my daugther told me,she went to get some cereals and she didn't open the jar yet, spilling all over cereals (kids cereals) and the staff arrived sighing and murmuring. she didn't eat the cereals anymore :( she went back to her. coz the lady was angry she said :( please tell you staff to maybe next time, be sensitive specially kids.

An exceptional hotel for a few days visit to Phantasialand. Polite staff. Breakfast with lots of options, all first quality. We also served dinner, at an acceptable price. Comfortable rooms, even if not very spacious. The bathroom also lives up to its classification. Generous parking in the hotel yard. Public transportation to Phantasialand at few minutes away. The quality-price ratio is exceptional. The amusement park, although relatively small compared to others, offers top attractions.

The hotel was really easy to drive to from the airport and also easy to get to the city centre of Cologne. The room was clean, comfortable, and a good size for two people. We drove to Phantasialand in 4 minutes from the hotel, which shows how great the location is to the local theme park. The breakfast had some great options. Breakfast was also included in the price, which was great.

We had a meal in the restaurant on Saturday evening. They were offering a buffet for 22 Euros per person, but the options were very limited for the price of the meal and the food was lukewarm. It's the only thing that disappointed me throughout the stay.
