Friendly, helpful staff, especially the irrepressible Maria, who was lively and cheerful at all times. The central location was perfect, with everything in the town only a few minutes walk away. The common areas are tastefully decorated. We appreciated the hotel’s free bicycles although they could be better maintained.

There were building works nearby as the hotel is adding an extension. But that should be completed by now.

Very beautifully kept, the building has lots of character and I like how it’s stylised. The lobby, the pool, the building - so pretty and it does what it says on the tin 😉 it’s a boutique. It’s really clean, service was impeccable (warm, professional, friendly, reliable, attentive, and familiar. Perfect balance. We had lots of lovely suggestions of what to do from Maria 🙏 ). Location wise it’s less than 5 mins walk to the marina and one street away from restaurants. I enjoyed the breakfast on the roof top (there’s indoor covered and outdoor uncovered) both in terms of the setting and the spread 👌. There is also is parking which was lovely as we rented a car to explore farther.

I arrived and wanted to sit around the pool, but people had left their towels on the loungers and had left the pool area. I asked the pool attendant Maria, if she could remove the towels but she said she couldn’t. So we had to sit at a table whilst all the loungers were empty. This policy should change, obviously it is not the young ladies fault. But if people leave, please remove their towels so that someone else can use the loungers.

One of the only hotel-run swimming pools in the area. The pool itself was exceptionally clean at all times, and was a perfect temperature. Sunbeds were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff provided fresh towels upon request at any time, which you could also take to the beach etc. The room itself was great with very comfortable beds and pillows. The hospitality of the hotel staff was exceptional. They were always friendly and happy to help. The downstairs bar is absolutely beautiful also, featuring a classical piano and very pleasant decorative features. I would really recommend this hotel.

The interior of the room itself could do with modernisation (i.e. new shower heads), but this was a minor thing and did not impact the quality of the stay at all. The one aspect of this hotel that would boost it from a 9/10 to a 10/10 would be the breakfast. The breakfast was continental, however, the quality and selection of food and drink could be improved substantially.

Very good central location with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff which made my solo stay very easy. Room was comfortable and the lighting was excellent. Comfortable sunbeds around pool and nice roof terrace for breakfast.

Rather larger than expected for a boutique hotel with poor views from balcony, on lower floor, but understandable as this is a central hotel in a busy town. The swimming pool is refreshing but access is not easy for an unconfident swimmer. A kettle would be of more use than the coffee machine, but that is a personal opinion.

Lovely short break at the Dioni boutique hotel.. Very friendly staff. We were given one of the new rooms, which was lovely. Enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. Didn't use the pool but a nice addition on a hot day. Loved the location.

Omitted to provide hangers in the wardrobe due it it's newness which then highlighted the need for some hooks on the back of doors. Also shelf in shower area would be useful as nowhere to put shower gels & shampoo.

Breakfast. Compare to the hospital very nice lady on reception willing to help, you step into the roof and.. nobody meets you, you don’t know where to sit, where to get a plate.. working ladies even don’t say hello, fully ignore you. Vegetables were finished, eggs were cold :(( orange juice was not fresh, just chemical :(( Jams are also not natural, no fruit, sausages were very untasty. Cheese and coffee were good! I was very disappointed - no any service during the breakfast. No view - all shades are closed. The condition is not able to present nice atmósfera to guests. Beautiful lobby on the 1st floor (not used at all for guests) and breakfast hall are like from the different planets🤷‍♀️

Fresh fruit for breakfast would have been good also a bigger room service of food selection, there was only club sandwich or toast - very boring!

Good size room and bathroom. Very good breakfast selection and taken on the top floor/ roof terrace - in the sun! Excellent location for first visit/ passing through Preveza. Pool size bigger than expected; you could actually swim in it.

No complaints about the hotel who were very helpful but a note of caution: We had great difficulty getting a taxi from the airport. Noone wanted to take us on the short journey to Preveza although we were first in the long queue because all the taxis cherrypicked the people wanting to go to Lefkada for twice the fare.

Breakfast really excellent (both for meat eaters and vegetarians) on the roof top. Incredible service. e.g. I called down to reception (the in-room phone actually worked - rare these days) and I had accidentally pressed the wrong buttons so the receptionist couldn't hear me. Within a couple of minutes there were two members of staff at the door checking what we needed! Towels provided for pool then fresh ones for the beach and free push bikes to use to get to the beach - a very easy walk and ride.

I think a couple more options on the menus (pool/bar/lounge/room service, which are all the same) would make all the difference. A cold meat and/or cheese plate with fruit for eg. Maybe olives and some bread or crackers with dips These things are served at breakfast anyway so the kitchen have them and it should be simple. I think it would also hugely benefit from just a couple of cocktail options to complement the amazing lounge. Finally, if they had the budget they could make far more of the roof top - a hot tub and bar and lots more plants maybe.
