We came here for our anniversary and loved every minute. Our room was on the top floor (5th) and overlooked the beautiful valley. The staff were super efficient and spoke good English. The room itself was spotless, especially the bathroom. The pool was sparkling clean without smelling of chlorine. Simple breakfast that included scrambled eggs, along with fresh bread rolls, jam, cereals, yogurt, cold meats and a selection of cheeses. The waiters also topped up supplies once they were finished. The building has a lot of charm and is well maintained. We will definitely be back in the future!

Our stay was nothing short of wonderful. The combination of tidy, comfortable accommodations, excellent food, and a prime location, all complemented by an outstanding team, made this hotel a standout choice. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch experience in the heart of the town.

Location is great near the waterfall. The thermal pool + saunas downstairs are a very nice plus as they are included in the price. It is easy to imagine the years when this hotel was new and in the prime of its life. Friendly staff, chandeliers in dining room and lobby bar, etc. Breakfast coffee is served to your table under chandeliers, it’s hard to beat this for the price I paid. (In fact, it’s still hard to believe the price to hotel ratio of my deal). There was a wonderful view of the mountains and central Badgastein from my single room. The room was okay and cleaning service does its job.

The hotel is a bit worn down, but this is to be expected when you look at the price tag. Bed could have been more comfortable… In early June, this was perfect, but I can imagine the room could be too cold or too hot on winter/summer.

Very nice hotel, good service, beautiful thermal pool. It is not so close to the ski pistes, but it has its own shuttle.

Breakfast could have better options for vegans.

I loved how huge the property was, including the long walk down scenic hallways especially to the fitness areas. The view from the room was incredible with the huge windows opening up to the mountains. The sauna and pool areas were absolutely fanastic. Right in the middle of Bad Gastein just up the street from the waterfall too.

Large room and bathroom, excellent view over the historic centre, a nice pool area, a decent breakfast.

The hotel is rather old, but we'll maintained. Sauna was only open for a few hours every day, didn't get to use it.

Poor choice. And so not great value for money

Excellent location, near the waterfall but not too close that the noise will interfere. SPA is excellent as well

The bathroom is ancient and needs renovation asap, the rest of the facilities are old - but it has some magic in it. Need a place to dry wet clothing and shoes.

Everything was perfect; the staff, the location, room was clean and comfy, quiet, beautiful view. It was worth it.
