Convenient location, suitable for skiing. You can leave all your ski staff in the hotel, the lifts are reachable on feet. The hosts are so nice and friendly, you will definitely feel comfortable in the hotel and can always ask for help or any recommendations. The design is very authentic, the rooms are warm. The noises are good isolated. The guest room is especially cozy 😍

The breakfast is served, but it’s always the same. No shower gel in the rooms is provided so you need to have your own stuff.

My mom and I felt very welcome - at breakfast, or even at the end of the day when we enjoyed a little nightcap in the common room. It’s cozy and warm, beautiful views - and we loved the sound of the waterfall behind the house. It’s easy to walk into town or to the Felsentherme…

As an American I’m used to having some extra towels and blankets available in the room… Not just at Hotel Echo, but in many places in Germany/Austria I still get surprised that towels are such a luxury item, that there is often only one… (and I will remember to bring washcloths on my next trip to Europe, lol)

This review has to start with the owner Henrikka who deserves at least 6 stars. She has lots of suggestions for great walks, places to visit and the best food in town. Nothing was too much trouble and she helped to send taxi details when we got caught in a storm whilst hiking. Thanks Henrikka for making us feel so at home. Breakfast was gorgeous; breads, cheeses, salad, butter, jam, cold meats and fruit. The hotel itself is old and full of character and kept sparkling clean, it’s really cosy. We booked two nights but extended to four. Cannot recommend Hotel Echo enough!

This is a charming old restored building. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and very comfortable with a lovely mountain view. The sound of the rushing river below was comforting. Breakfast was delicious with great selection. We enjoyed walking along the river and amazing waterfalls. I highly recommend this property.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Nice hotel in the beautiful place. Closed to waterfall. Interesting design of hotel and rooms. Booked to be more closed to alpine high road but, unfortunately, requried 30 minutes driving from mainhighway. Too far.

Lack of facilities: No water or tea/coffee in the room. No lift in the buiding Breakfast was average. Payed extra 10Euro for small doughter.

This is the place to go if you like your hotel to be human-sized, authentic, super friendly, quiet, close to nature

You should reconsider if you want the latest of hotel comfort or if you don't fancy a stiff climb from the village centre

Everything was good

The location , just at the top of the waterfall ! Very cosy homely atmosphere, a general lounge area to rest and have a beer or a coffee. Spaces rooms Friendly owners of the hotel who are very good hosts. They gave us a lot of good tips to move around , restaurants etc.

Not having a restaurent or meals service. No lift to take luggage.

Some of the group felt their beds were too hard. Some of the floors were a little creaky but understandable in a rustic, homely hotel.

Spectacular Mountain view. Comfortable and clean Location awesome. Hidden gem of a town. Breakfast very good. Easy parking. Nice waterfall view at base of road with short walk. Incredible mountain top views from Stubnerkogel peak short walk away to lift.

No USB outlets. Luckily we had brought our own ac adapters.
