Thank you for being very polite and approachable when we have asked for clarification or sought guidance with the surroundings. We would like to return to Salzburger Hof next time we'll visit Bad Gastein, it was a really good choice to stay with you. Thank you for having us as your guests.

Everything was special, nothing to complain.

This is a fantastic hotel a moments walk from the train station and the main ski lift, with excellent spa facilities, friendly staff, and really good food, all delivered with really impressive value and nice single rooms great for solo travel. A lots of the guests are Swedish so if you are not you'll find the spa/bar/restaurant quieter as they tend to eat very early.

Very minor flaws, the room was very hot so I had the window open and the room radiators off the whole time. Later spa hours would be great for going after dinner. Room was missing a do-not-disturb sign. There are fancier hotels in BG, but value and location make this this best.

A beautiful historic large hotel with spa areas. In a great location close to train station, cable car to Stubnerkogel, and the waterfall! We loved the balconies and carpeting in the rooms. A short 3-5 minute walk downhill from the train station. Large restaurant with interesting celebrity photographs on the walls. Assigned seating by room number. Breakfast was a nice spread with a large variety of foods to choose from. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The following issues were not a problem for us but could be a problem for those with mobility issues: 1. Walking uphill with luggage to the train station; 2. A lot of walking within the hotel due to its size .

Very nice stay with comfortable rooms. We are a family of four and had two interconnecting double rooms so our kids (and us adults) could have their own room and some private space. The food was fantastic and with five-course dinners for a week, it feels like I never need to eat again 😁. All in all, we are very satisfied and can really recommend the hotel.

Cleaning, but must been a mistake, we had no cleaning at all during the three nights we lived there

Location, charm of the hotel, stuff, food, 2 spa areas and pool even small but very charming and good organized.

We had a half board and there was not many options for choosing a la carte between the meals. Dinner is not a buffet but it's almost the same. Only the soup and the main meal were always served by the stuff, but there were a lot of food on the buffet that we could take and we didn't even need to get the soup and the main meal.

Excellent location, the room was beautiful and really well cleaned every day. Staff were friendly and helpful. There were plenty of gluten free options at breakfast, and most dishes at dinner (with half board) were able to be made gluten free. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Nice with the bar and music at bottom floor. Perfect distance to skibus and lift. Nice breakfast.

Ok room but tiny, excellent view from room though. Staff not so informative about ski room. We asked and reception said yes there is s ski room but did not say there was a separate room for ski boots. Felt like we had to find out things/service on our own.

The food and drink were of an excellent standard . The staff were very well trained and professional. They were always polite and service was excellent. The bar is well stocked and the cocktail making of a very high standard The whole hotel is very clean and well maintained.

The pool area is good, however, it is quite a small pool for the number of hotel residents. The area was noisy and overcrowded. It was a very child intensive environment. Having the massage area next to it was a noise problem even though the therapy was great. The provision of the adult only spa area is welcome and essential.

On the last day the cleaning lady kept opening the door before check out time, and when mentioned to the reception staff, they did not bother to say or do anything about it.
