A very nice hotel, close to the beach and restaurants. There is a breakfast buffet with enough choice. The cappuccino with almond milk was very good! Spacious apartment with a great shower and good working ac. The shower did water a part of the bathroom, but it didn’t bother us that much.

The bed although comfortable, too small for our taste en too short because of a wooden footboard for my husband (1.89 meters). The pool was ice cold!! It should be heated a bit. Staff was nice, but a bit weird. For example, the cushions of our couch would dissappear everytime after cleaning. When we asked the staff we would get them back, but disapppear the next day. When we asked the cleaners they woulnd’t give them back and said it was only for check in. And suddenly they would reappear again after a couple of hours. When checking out we asked if we could use the pool and towels for 2 more hours, there was a long awkward pauze followed by there shouldn’t be a problem.

A wonderful place to relax and explore perhaps the best stretch of southern Crete. The hotel itself is situated at the heart of Plakias, within a very short distance from the beach, restaurants and shops. Decorated in a neutral, calming palette, it offers tastefully done, spotlessly clean rooms and suites, a good breakfast, and a delicious pool space which was never crowded or noisy during our stay, even when there were other families with small kids present. There are some minor areas that could do with some improvement, e.g. a few repairs here and there in the rooms, or a more Crete-oriented breakfast, but overall, they feel unimportant and did not detract from the pleasure of staying there and letting the spirit of prevailing vibes of luminosity and quiet carry us away. The staff were all very friendly, and on our last day they went out of their way to prepare us a special travel breakfast pack to take away on the road the next day.

Nothing, really!

Very comfortable apart hotel. Cosy environment, comfortable beds, efficient AC, amazing pool beautifully lighted up at evening, nice smell and all necessary equipment inside room. It's definitely place where we would like to come back. We could stay a bit longer last day and enjoy great swimming pool before trip. Owner and personel very kind. Everyday cleaning during breakfast. It's perfect for stay with family. I can also recommend location, it's very close to many beautiful places.

Honestly it's hard to find any inconveniences. Only on breakfast we didn't like day when were scrambled eggs (not edible for us) and sausages. When I asked for fried I couldn't get because it was day of scrambled.. it was strange for me, but that's only thing. Breakfast were moderate, choice wasn't very big but good quality, baked sweet corner was pretty nice.

The curtains let a lot of light in. It was so bright in the mornings with the curtain closed there was no need to open them and it's very bright very early which is not ideal when travelling with children.

The staff were in particular very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and the bedrooms were spacious. The balcony's are nice to have for drying clothes and relaxing in the evenings.

The breakfast felt a bit limited. Some more options would be good. Maybe we were late in the mornings but there seemed to be no or not much food left. Otherwise it was lovely.

+ Location - 1 block away from the beach and the main street from Plakias. + Breakfast - many options and freshly made coffee. + Staff - they were super helpful and provided a baby chair for our daughter in our room. + Room - we booked a two bedroom apartment which was perfect size for our party.

Fabulous boutique hotel in a quiet location but close to the beach, tavernas shops etc. Really friendly staff. Great breakfast with huge choices changing each day. Rooms are amazing - really spacious. Kitchen facilities ample if you wish to self cater. Bathroom roomy and shower powerful with several settings. Housekeeping really efficient - all completed whilst we ate breakfast. Swimming pool area clean with plenty of loungers and umberellas. Ample car parking around the hotel

Staff was very friendly and helpful with things to do around area. Breakfast was great.

Nothing - well we came during off-season so pool water was too cold to use, but it looked nice and well maintained.

Service from staff was exceptional. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Apartment was cleaned immaculately every day. Food was fantastic. We are already planning a return trip

Extra pillow variety in the room for people who like flatter/softer pillows- however, this is personal preference.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Cyano Hotel. We arrived very late (after hours of check-in) but the staff waited for us with a cold plate full of Greek snacks. During our stay, we felt very good and well taken care of. The hotel and our room were very clean. For sure we want to come back to this hotel in the future, we had an amazing time.
