The owners are wonderful approachable people who were a pleasure to meet. Location is fantastic to walk the 3 Peaks. Accommodation is beautiful with stunning views and breakfast was lovely too. I will stay again.

The shower dropped cold a couple of times due to water pressure. That is the only negative from the entire stay and this was very minor. It would not prevent me from booking again. Great accommodation, great people in a great location... What more could you need.

Lovely self contained house,perfect for 2. Modern and clean inside. Views to Pen-y-ghent for the living area. Perfect location for those wanting to do the Yorkshire 3 Peak challenge. Even had laundry facilities for those like us that have been on the road for a while

Nothing to dislike

Everything! Location and facilities are perfect. We did three peaks and the house is literally close to Pen-y Ghent and railway station. The house has everything you need and is spotless. We slept well during our two nights stay. We even did bbq for our dinner which the owners gladly approved of and even helped us with. Jane and Robert are such wonderful couple and are very hospitable and kind. We would definitely book this property should we go back to Yorkshire.

Jane and Robert were the perfect hosts, able to help with our plans for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks and exploring the surrounding area. They took the time to show us around and answer any questions we had with some great recommendations for the local area. The Shippon accommodation was immaculately presented and well equipped. Our breakfast offered a range of high quality, home-cooked ingredients. It’s clear that much time, effort and love has been spent to make The Rowe House a hugely inviting place to stay. Ideal for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Superb.

Good range of choices for breakfast with the full Yorkshire experience if you wanted it. Nothing was an issue for the owners whose experience and knowledge of the local area was very useful for us in our desire to move to the area. The B&B was nicely located on the edge of the village surrounded by beautiful hills, fields and walkways to various locations. A lovely weeks holiday with perfect hosts.

Rain all week didn't spoil a lovely holiday. That's Yorkshire. :-)

I was up with friends for the 3 peak challenge. The accommodation and the hospitality was wonderful. We had packed lunches and breakfast all organised for the morning of our challenge. The room was cosy with a wonderful view of the peak. The location was ideal for our meet up at Chapel le dale (12mins drive) for the challenge. I would definitely go back or recommend a stay there.

Lovely bijou accommodation, small but perfectly formed. Great location and excellent views plus well equipped for a short break.

It was quite tight, size wise for two averagely built people but once you got used to height restrictions upstairs, you soon got used to it.

Really clean and host is very friendly

Height of the ceiling of attic if bit low and banged out head in the middle of night when going for water etc.. however this was already briefed to us by the host

Excellent location for doing the Yorkshire three peaks challenge, comfy bedding, short walk from the pub, good facilities, very friendly and helpful host

Jane and Robert's breakfast offerings were simply delightful, inventive and plentiful. Far more than merely honest fare & more than adequate for a long days hiking in the 3-peaks area. Our favourite was the cheese souffle. Supplemented by the packed lunches and afternoon treats.

Nothing occurred that Jane and Robert didnt cope with admirably. All facilities were maintained to an exceptional standard, and there were no discomforts of any kind at all.
