Great to have shoe tray in room....much needed with our hiking. Excellent central location Breakfast....flexible chef allowed us to make bacon sandwiches so we could make an early start

The only down side for us was the woman next door to us complaining we were making too much noise...we are not rowdy so it came as a bit of a shock....we felt we had to then whisper and walk on tiptoe..clearly soundproofing not great but that is par for the course with older buildings.

The hotel's location was excellent, situated in the heart of the village with easy access to the cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff was very kind and supportive, providing us with good information on where to dine, park, and other useful details.

The connection with the other room was quite disturbing, but it hasn't interfered with our sleeping.

We had a lovely breakfast but it was not in the Board inn it was in the inn nextdoor.

The bar part of the inn was not open which was bizarre. We were shown to our rooms by the man from the inn nextdoor. Having a drink in the bar would have been really nice at the end of the day however the pub was still closed form the winter season.

A lovely quaint pub on the high street, set in idyllic surroundings. The room was full of character and a good size with an en suite. We had breakfast included at the hotel next door. The pub closed at 9 due to short staffing but we were given a key to the front door so we could stay out later.

It was centrally located. The bed was comfy and the staff were welcoming.

The heating came on in the afternoon at 5 but wasn't very efficient so it was a bit cold in the room. It rained constantly while we were there but there weren't any drying facilities which made it difficult.

Lovely room it had everything you needed. The breakfast was a 10. Couldn't fault it, yes you did have to go next door but it was a really good breakfast great coffee machine and really relaxed attitude.

The shower cubicle needs a bit of attention but otherwise ok

We had a comfortable room. The full English breakfast in the house next door was good.

For a moment, we did not know if we could get back to the hotel after breakfast because we were not given a key to the main entrance. But all was well in the end.

Great location with easy short walk to most of Hawes. Good breakfast included served in next door establishment. Good bar and friendly staff. Nice size room. Adequate ensuite bathroom. Great sit down fish and chips restaurant just over the road.

Excellent location, lovely village friendly pub. The room was massive and the en-suite very roomy. And a Full English breakfast included…. Tremendous value for money.

If I’m being fussy, maybe a good dust would help.

Location was excellent and staff really helpful, having to go next door for breakfast in the morning was ok but the service there was very slow, the Board Inn was comfortable and very good.
