Room was clean and spacious. We stayed in 'pecca falls' (pet friendly) Room was well stocked of tea, coffee etc. Nice touch was a big bottle of water. It was well equipped with hairdryer and an electric dan! I've stayed many places and when wanting a fan there's never been one. We used it too. Check-in very smooth. Very welcoming Staff friendly and gave us all the information we needed. I.e Breakfast time. Also told the planned entertainment downstairs in the pub (mon-quiz night) Breakfast was a good choice, cereals, toast, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurts. And as much coffee as you could want! Hot breakfast menu was very good. Breakfast was hot and lovely. Did a local walk and returned for lunch. Good, varied menu. Food was lovely. Again staff very friendly. Would stay again

The only thing I can find fault with was the shower. It wasn't the hottest but was nice, the water tray just wasn't draining away fast enough. So I felt shower was cut short as didn't want any spillages! Other than that a very pleasant stay

Nicely refurbished hotel/pub in a gorgeous village location that is ideal for exploring the Dales. Staff were friendly and well trained, making welcome suggestions to improve our stay, including inviting us to join in the weekly pub quiz. The menu was interesting but we thought it was expensive for what turned out to be standard pub fare. Dinner was good but not 'great' for what it cost, although the breakfast was excellent and included in the price. Lovely sunny beer garden.

We thought it was a bit expensive - we spent nearly £200 for a one night stay, including dinner and three drinks each.

The room was an excellent size and had everything we needed for a night's stay, teas, coffees, hairdryer, etc. The room was clean and the bedding and towels were very clean. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us and our dog feel welcome. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, which was the same for our breakfast the next morning.

Unfortunately, our room must have been above the kitchen during tidy up time. We went to bed early due to our 2-day drive and had a long day the next day. Our room floor was vibrating with dance music that went on until 10:30pm. It could have gone on longer, but I wear ear plugs! Breakfast was only served between 8am-9am.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Wheatsheaf Inn ! The staff couldn't do enough for us ..they were all so friendly and helpful ! The food was outstanding and the rooms were furnished to a high standard ! The breakfast in the morning was fabulous with such a wide range to choose from, cereals, toast, yoghurt, croissants etc .. then you could order a full English or even just a breakfast bap depending on how hungry you were. The location is spot on, with lots of lovely places to visit nearby, such as Settle, Hawes and Skipton to name but a few. We joined the pub quiz on Monday night which was fun ! If you have a dog, you are in for a treat, the whole pub and the rooms are all dog friendly and your dog will get a little treat pack on arrival .. such a nice touch ! The value was brilliant .. and the food and drinks very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend !

Excellent breakfast provided in the price we paid. Great choice of menu for evening meals. Large beer garden at the back which was very welcome as the weather over the weekend was amazing so we made full use of being able to sit outside. The views, looking out over the fells, from our bedroom window were beautiful.

Parking in the car park was a bit difficult at times. I am convinced not all the cars parked there were using the facilities of the hotel.

Great atmosphere within - especially in the bar and dining area, the staff were a delight and couldn’t do enough for you. Check in was friendly, quick and efficient. The food and drinks were of a high quality especially the breakfast. Tea/coffee facility in room was a great touch and had an extensive selection. Great car parking on site and location was ideal for the Falls trail and other areas.

Room was fine and bed was comfortable but the room just lacked slightly in respect to decor, eg pictures on walls for example Bathroom was cleaned adequately but could do with a deep clean occasionally on walls and tile area, but that’s just nit picking.

The room was spacious, clean and the en-suit also. The breakfast was excellent and much better than provided anywhere else. Really, exceptional produce and quality. The downstairs bar was vibrant, well stocked and fun.

Only the terrible lighting in the room which was ridiculously ill-thought out. Both the main light and the bedside light were bear bulbs which shone straight into your face and eyes, so we had to put the bedside light on the floor and walk around in the dimness.

I have been coming to the Wheatsheaf for 30+ years but hadn’t been recently. I was very pleasantly surprised by how well the rooms were done up. I thought Pecca Falls charming and uncluttered. Staff helpful and friendly and room drinks good quality.

The biscuits in the room !! I would have liked a comfy chair in the room to sit and read in but appreciate this might have made a very nice room feel cramped!

The staff could not have looked after us any better. The whole place has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, is clean and airy and everyone, staff and customers, were happy and smiling. The food was all freshly cooked, with plenty of choice both for dinner and breakfast. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable with a good shower. Would definitely recommend and will look forward to our next visit.

Lovely location, lovely staff, comfortable room, easy parking and free pub quiz to boot on a Monday night, which was fun. The menu was part of the Country Village Inn chain, which is more than reasonable. However, two gems were the excellent ham given in a light bites meal and the ice cream offered, which was the superb English Lakes variety. Breakfast was spot on with a good selection of full English and continental offerings. Maps on the wall were a nice touch as were the lovely complimentary Country Village Inn handmade shortbread biscuits. Well run operations. Compliments to all involved.

The only criticism I can make is that the room was clean with the exception of some attention to detail like light switches, dusty shelves and one or two not so clean cups and cutlery.
