This Motel had a renovated bathroom with cosmetic products with nice scent. The staff was super friendly. We loved the roadmovie flair only those type of Motels in the West have! We did not use it, but they even had a BBQ outside. It is of course a basic Motel, so don’t expect anything super fancy, but from our perspective it was great value for money and we would stay here again.
Air Conditioning / Heating was a bit loud.

I am in Mojave 4-6 times a year and I only stay here. The owners are wonderful, remember me, and give me "the best" room! The rooms have recently been renovated/upgraded. Everything works. Fridge/freezer, microwave, iron and ironing board in each room. Great water pressure in the shower. No-smoking rooms. Quiet part of town, away from the railroad that dominates Mojave. This is a roadside motel in a small town, so set your expectations correctly. But I love this place and will not stay anywhere else while in Mojave.

This place is certainly not a place that you would want to take your wife to for a honeymoon, but that's perfectly. It's not meant to be a romantic hotel. It serves its job as a motel for a night or two. I liked that it has a fridge, microwave and coffee facilities. Free ice machine by reception.
I don't want to be too critical as the place is not a 5* hotel and doesn’t try to be. It's a bit worn out here and there, the walls by the microwave, fridge, etc, need a bit of a clean due to splashback from food and drink. This didn't detract from my stay. If I was in the area again, I would stay here again.

I just moved from Arizona and wanted to find a Motel that was like the original Motel's that were down to earth and not stuffy, and where you can feel at home during your stay. Especially not closed in like a box! I can look out the window and breathe fresh air. Instead of going into town in Lancaster I decided to stay until I move in to a place. Very comfortable, very nice Owners/Management.this Motel has everything you need to relax and get peice of mind. I will always come here if I need to get away.
Nothing!

This motel is the hidden jewel of Mojave. First, the couple running it are 2 of the nicest people you’ll meet, always waving hello when tending to the property and happily hopping to any help you need. Second, it’s located a bit in from the junction of Interstates 14 and 58 which means it’s off the main strip and away from the railroad freight tracks that run through town, so it’s peaceful and quiet and you’ll sleep like a log. And because it’s across from the town fire & ambulance station, you feel perfectly safe too. In terms of eating, McDonalds, Carl Jr, and Denny’s are all within an easy walk (with a Stater Bros supermarket just a fast car hop away too). From the outside, the motel looks like an old, weathered motel out of time, but inside the rooms are immaculate with clean walls & carpets and pristine sheets and towels. You also get a nice 4-foot fridge, microwave, coffee maker, flatscreen with DirecTV, and WiFi which was very stable for work purposes. My guess (and this is why I said it’s a “hidden jewel”) is that they’re in the process of upgrading the entire motel because my bed also felt new… the bathroom shower stall was beautifully tiled… during my stay, they resurfaced the parking lot… and my air conditioner (an essential for any stay in Mojave) was brand new. This review may sound too flowery or too good to be true, but coming from a guy up from LA on business who needed a place to stay for a bit… and given the looks (and reviews) of the other motels in town… THIS is absolutely the motel you want to pick.
The place is nice and quiet with the exception of SOME “whooshing” you might hear in the early morning from SOME truck rigs that turn off the 14 and quickly jump to light speed on the 58 as they start barreling their way towards Barstow and Vegas. But it’s so minimal and infrequent, it’s barely worth mentioning.

Very clean with a good-sized frig-freezer, a microwave and a small table and chairs. Room was small but adequate and very clean. Wi-fi was very fast. Staff very friendly. Towels were nice. You use a real key to get into the room.
As the hotel is near the highway, road noise was noticeable at night and early morning. You could hear the trains pass by, too, though not as close at the cars on the highway. The porch floor is getting worn, but there are no safety issues.

The room is very clean and the Inn is very convenient. The staff is very friendly and always smiling and hospitable. This place is well recommended.
The only minor issue which is not a big deal is the TV. When flipping through the channels, sometimes the signal is lost. It takes a bit of time to refresh before you can watch again

Cleanliness. No sign of roaches. No sign of bedbugs. Overall well kept.
Extended stay. Would have preferred service more often. Had to ask for TP and trash bags a couple of times. However they did ask if I needed anything from time to time.

A great little budget stay near J Tree. We enjoyed our private room - the kitchen and bathroom are communal so your stay depends on the quality of others staying at the same time. The host was super lovely and accommodating. Nice area outside to enjoy food or do a workout.

It was located very close to everything we wanted to see out there. It was air-conditioned, which was absolutely necessary because it was 100° outside. Parking lot was fine and did not cost extra to park, which I love. The staff pre-air conditioned our room when she realized we were checking in.
