The Rooms Hotel in Kazbegi is an essential, breathtaking part of the Kazbegi experience itself. From the moment you arrive, you understand why this is one of the most iconic destinations in all of Georgia. The first thing that strikes you is the view. The panoramic wall of windows in the common areas frames the mighty Gergeti Trinity Church and the towering peak of Mount Kazbek so perfectly it feels like a living painting. No matter the weather - whether the peaks are shrouded in mist or blazing in the sun - the drama and beauty are absolutely spellbinding. You will find yourself just stopping to stare, again and again. The room we stayed in continued this theme of rustic elegance. The design is a masterclass in cozy minimalism: warm wood, soft leather, a supremely comfortable bed with high-quality linens, and a balcony that offered our own private slice of that legendary view. Waking up to that sight with a morning coffee is a memory we will cherish forever. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is unparalleled. It feels both incredibly social and peacefully quiet. The main hall, with its towering ceilings, comfortable seating, and roaring fireplaces, is the perfect place to relax with a book or a glass of Georgian wine. The breakfast buffet is generous and delicious, with a great mix of local and international options.

I absolutely love everything about this hotel; it’s been my place of power for many years in a row! I adore that you can come with pets and children, and the view from the terrace and the room is simply unparalleled! The food is excellent but the price of alcohol is a bit scary, as a bottle of wine cost us 100+ GEL, and we left a ton of money for our large group. Everything else is perfect. Thank you!

I was disappointed by this things (purely my personal taste) this year: the hotel installed lighting in the courtyard in the form of bright garlands, and in my opinion, these garlands are unacceptable in the mountains landscape. The beauty of the mountains and nature that you see from the window of the room is completely overshadowed by the aggressive lighting of the garland. When you have a million-dollar view from your room, which people come from all over the world to see, there’s no need to add such aggressive outdoor lighting. Mount Kazbek has completely disappeared from view because of this decision (( I really hope this won’t be the case next year, otherwise, 90% of the reason for the visit disappears.

Price wise I think it is a bit overpriced, considering the overall Georgia pricing range I think for a hotel of this luxurious type, it should consider adding a shuttle to town center, instead of asking customer to pay absurd amount (15-20 GEL) to get a minivan for a 5min ride Also would be nice if the hotel could have its own tour to the Trinity Church on the mountain

The location , the view and the ambiance.

The staff at the lobby were not welcoming as well as the staff of the restaurant. The rooms are not well equipped specially the shower were all the water flood everywhere in the toilet. The rooms were not clean at all! A proper vacuum should be done after every check out! No TV in the rooms, breakfast was not too clean, you can see some people picking the food by hand and that was rude and no one telling them anything. The hotel was fully booked upon my arrival, so could be that everyone is so busy, but at least we should get a better service for that value of money which we paid .

Location of the hotel was great, and hotel is cozy. Breakfast was good and food in general was tasty.

Unfortunately there were construction works on the premises, and we needed to carry all the luggage ourselves. This is temporary and we didn't mind it much. Room that we booked was really limited, with no TV, coffee machine and pretty small, so we upgraded to bigger room (and upgrade was not cheap). In this bigger room, glass door (with see-through curtains) to bathroom is just near the bed and it could not shut properly so be sure to be comfortable with your partner or someone will need to wait on the balcony until you are done with the bathroom activities. :-)

Amazing views (even from the forest view room) and the terrace, pool and sauana were great places to relax. The breakfast selection was one of the best we've ever had! One of the more expensive places to stay in Georgia but absolutely worth it, and still very reasonable for the quality.

Service at the bar / restaurant was slow, it feels slightly understaffed - there were multiple occasions where we would wait 30+ minutes just for a drink. Day tours usually arrive at about 5pm which limits seating space and increases wait times. During the peak hours for dinner (around 8pm) the food took close to 1hr, but eating earlier usually meant service was quicker.

Beautiful hotel with stunning views, but disappointing restaurant service The hotel is beautifully located with breathtaking views of the mountains and the nearby church – truly a picturesque setting! The rooms were nice, and the breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection and high quality. Unfortunately, the restaurant experience left much to be desired. The service was extremely slow. One of the meals we ordered (a burger) was forgotten, and when we reminded the staff, it took a very long time to be prepared. While we understand that some dishes take time, it’s hard to understand why a simple cup of hot water with lemon took nearly an hour to arrive – especially considering how many staff members were present in the restaurant. Because of the long wait, we ended up skipping dessert, as we didn’t want to go through another long delay. All in all, it’s a lovely hotel with great potential, but the restaurant service needs significant improvement.

What I didn’t like: The restaurant service was extremely slow. One of our meals (a burger) was forgotten. It took nearly an hour to get a cup of hot water with lemon. There were many staff members present, but still very inefficient service. We skipped dessert because we didn’t want to wait any longer.

The hotel met our expectations as it was a destination hotel. We enjoyed the most the overall design of the hotel and their concept of the lobby. We were able to enjoy drinks & desserts on the terrace while playing board games in the afternoon, enjoy the pool in the evening and interact with other guests. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also recommend booking George the local guide for hikes around the region.

You have to be picky to find items that you don't like but here we go: - there are no khinkali in the menu at the restaurant. this is my main complaint. - although I loved the lobby concept is annoying for dinner as restaurants tables are limited and you sometimes need to eat on a sofa and a coffee table. - the light is very dimmed everywhere. I understand the concept but still annoying - as I previously said, there are no khinkali.

Rooms Kazbegi was an absolute dream! I took a solo trip there to recharge, and it exceeded all my expectations. Bela at the reception was amazing—she helped me plan all my activities, making my stay seamless and unforgettable. The hotel offers horse riding, quad tours, and private drivers to Gudauri for skiing. I also visited Gergeti Trinity Church and Dariali Monastery in one morning—both breathtaking! The location is just incredible, with opportunities to explore the village or hike up to St. Elias Church. The atmosphere is magical. The restaurant and breakfast area are super cozy, with plenty of seating near the fireplace, creating a warm, lounge-like ambiance. There's even a reading corner where you can relax, all within the same stunning chalet-style setting. Now, the food… WOW! The breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had, and the à la carte menu at the restaurant is equally delicious. Every meal was a treat! Oh, and the indoor pool with mountain views? Just perfection. But what truly took my breath away was waking up to the sunrise over the mountains—absolutely surreal. All of this at a very reasonable price—a true hidden gem.

Honestly, I have nothing negative to say. A total crush—I’ll be back for sure! 💙🏔️

Rooms hotel has one of the best locations for hotels in Kazbegi. While the cost of the room is higher + from other hotels, but it is just wonderful. Kazbegi is mainly views and this hotel provides it big time. Staring from the room, we had the chance to be in 2 different rooms during our stay: Double room with mounting view and Executive King room that has forest view + some back mounting (this was due to availability). The room with mountain view was smaller but the view was outstanding, if the night/day are clear of clouds. The shower room was small, but room size was good + small balcony. The executive room was much bigger and bigger shower, but the luck of view in such place was a bit missing. I highly recommend adding the money for a room with a mountain view. Very good breakfast. Hot pool was relaxing and wonderful when outside temp was very low. Parking right at the hotel entrance.

The shower in the double room was too small and it was impossible to have one without wetting all the floor outside (as there is no door and the size is small). While having a very good breakfast, there is a restaurant at the hotel for dinner. At the first night we set for dinner and ordered the burger. Highly not recommended. Very dry and without flavor burger. this was not only my own by my partners as well. While I was not asking for it, the manager did try to compensate us, but I ended up not having dinner. I'm sure other options available outside.
