We had a truly wonderful stay at Pension Dolomieu, in large part thanks to our hosts' helpful, friendly, attentive and professional attitude. I cannot overstate how great of a host Linda and great of a chef Luca were! Some examples: We were allowed to check in as early as 8 am (not guaranteed of course), we had a frontal mountain view with a spacious balcony that was sort of a free upgrade, Linda was kind enough to organise a cab ride for us and we had exceptional meals with quality, local ingredients, creative plating and great seasoning thanks to Luca. The pension itself has epic views of the majestic Dolomites & Santa Christina, our room was clean, it had all the necessary equipment and the bed was very comfortable. Val Gardena itself and the surrounding mountains are magnificent, we had amazing day trips from the accommodation, which is well located to see all the sights of the area. All in all, 10/10 stay of 6 nights, we wish to return as soon as possible.

Not really a con, rather just an FYI: The accommodation is located at higher elevation than the town centre, thus reaching it may take 20-25 mins of walking up the streets. This is something to consider if someone has no car (like us). However, hourly buses go up and down during the summer until ~6pm, connecting the pension with the centre - utilising this takes a bit of planning, but it is manageable. Also, we often did the walk even after 20 km of hiking and we were fine, just like you would be.

Simple but very comfy hotel room, with kettle and hairdryer. We got room with the bath and outstanding balcony view! Bed was very comfortable, we sleep really well. Breakfast was nice and personal is very friendly! Place has ski room and they suggest free ski bus tickets (which we didn’t use, as we came by car) Locations is also great: 4 mins by car to ski lifts (both to Seceda and Sellaronda) , we never walked to ski lifts, but they are accessible in 15-20 mins walking (just in case), however you have ski bus stop right close to the hotel All in all amazing place, would definitely recommend and come back :)

The B&B was amazing from the breakfast to the view from our bedroom. Linda was an amazing host, she was very friendly and welcoming. She made the breakfast every morning, which was amazing and she was accommodating to my request for a milk alternative for the coffee. Linda was very helpful and provided useful information about the local area. The room was very clean and cozy. The view from the balcony was amazing! definitely recommend this cozy B&B!

The view is worth all the money. We had the most amazing room with a huge terrace that was just breathtaking. Everything else in the room is modest but for us was enough. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful(specially Linda) , always ready to answer any questions. We definitely recomand it and will come back as soon as possible !

If you don't have a car it's an extra hike from the main village. There is a bus stop nearby but arrives in rare intervals so you have to plan in advance(every 1-2h). If you have a car I assume you can ignore this comment

Dolomieu was delightful! The staff are WONDERFUL and made us feel right at home. The views from our balcony were incredible, and I felt the price was fair value for the stay.

Really the only downside was the location of the chalet. The Summer bus schedule meant that if we were headed back after dinner, it meant a mile hike up the steep hill.

The B&b is located on the steep hill that offers fantastic views on the hills and valley below. Probably the best view in the Val Gardena. The host was so lovely and really helpful. The breakfast was good. The host provided us with the bus passes l so that was huge help to get around! There was lost of guides and liflets at the lobby too. There is a car park just outside property.

There was a bit of a steep hike up to the accommodation but nothing bad and buses are running close by.

The hospitality : Linda was so kind and gave good recommendations The location was super nice : it is located in a valley : 360 views ; great for sunrise and sunset! We had a room with a view on the mountains The breakfast was fresh and diverse Good internet Nearby a lot of highlights: Seceda, Ortisei, Val di Funes,…

It was a little bit cold in the room

The most breathtaking location. The views from each room are unlike anywhere I've stayed before. See the attached picture (this is the view from the property). It sits perched up high and overlooks the town and mountains. The staff are so kind and the breakfast is delicious. There is ample parking. Could not recommend enough!

Nothing I disliked. I can't wait to visit again.

I liked the staff, that was always pleasant, smiling and helpful. Loved the breakfast. Ski-room was also nice to have.

I wish the bus would go in the evenings as well. On the other hand, in the morning and afternoon it was really easy to get to and from the skiresorts.

The location and stay was wonderful! Easy access to get to the lifts by car. You can also walk to the village from the hotel pretty easily. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great!
