The hotel.feels more exclusive than expected. The location is in old part of the city within walking distance of the main square and great tourist attractions. The renovation works to modernise the facilities has been well done and made the stay very very comfortable. Rooms and beds were very comfortable to be in with great control of room temperature. The courtyard where breakfast is offered feels relaxed and typical of an Andulucian house or palace. The staff were helpful at all times - nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay there again. T

Maybe easier information on how to drop baggage on arrival and finding parking as the streets around the hotel are narrow and parking difficult if you don't know the location.

A beautifully appointed hotel that is a three minute walk from the main square and a 15-minute walk from the estuary front. The staff are exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. The breakfast is served in the bar/ library or in the patio. There is a breakfast menu card, and all items are cooked freshly. Coffee, water, and chocolates are provided. Fortunately for me( I have a mobility issue), we were allocated the ground floor room number 1. It has elevated sanitary wear and an open shower with grab rails. We hope to return soon.

The only negative is the lack of allocated parking.

For some time now we've wanted to visit the home of Manzanilla. The Albariza is named after one of the grapes used in the sherry/wine process. This lovely hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the bus station and 3 minutes walk to the main square where we were spoilt for choice for places to eat. Our bedroom was very comfortable. It had windows that opened and a glassed-in balcony that also had openings so ideal for us overnight. The downside, a wee bit noisy in the early morning. It was a bit strange to have the shower in the bedroom (the loo is in a separate cubicle) but once used, no complaints in terms of water flow and hot water. The room has a Nespresso machine with complimentary coffee as well as complimentary bottles of water and chocolates. It was also ideally situated for a visit to a Manzanilla cellar - Barbadillo- less than a 10 minute walk away. The bodega, at 11.00 am, does a tour in English. The guide was excellent. Email them to arrange and pay 15 euros on arrival. It includes three tastings and a self guided tour of the museum. Back to the hotel, on the ground floor it has a gorgeous courtyard and a very comfortable, laid back sitting room and bar. We enjoyed a late night glass of wine (husband) and Manzanilla (me). As we didn't have breakfast, we can't comment about that. Suffice to say, there are plenty of places offering breakfast for just a few euros. Helpfully, the hotel also provided a map of the town.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Great location, A quite street very close to main square and all the sites. Great staff, great bedroom. The hotel is beautiful. Decorated with great taste and with quality materials. Staff were superb Teté was also great with us, and thanks for the room upgrade, it's so nice we would have loved to stayed longer. Loved having coffee and drinks in the courtyard. We will visit Sanlúcar again and, of course, we will stay in this beautiful hotel.

Can't think of anything

The hotel is tight in the middle of the town a short walk from the Plaza. It is not for the faint-hearted if coming by car - as I was together with an 84 yr old with limited mobility! This said, staff could not have been more helpful in assisting me. They came out, got in my car and navigated for me! The rooms were lovely - perfect for my friend with limited mobility on the ground floor next to one another. Cool clean and very spacious. There is a gorgeous courtyard and indoor lounge area.

It can't be helped but driving/parking is not straightforward. Staff did all they could (and more) to assist.

A super charming boutique hotel right in the centre of Sanlucar. Look no further, it is literally the best option around. The hotel has been newly renewed and all looks fantastic. The rooms are super modern bur keeping the andalusian charm of the local flavour you would expect from the area, and everything was spottless. The amenities, the roòm, the beds, the facilities of the hotel...all was fantastic. I need to also mention Maria from the reception who was just FANTASTIC, and super helpful. Their staff is incredible. We will be coming back for sure!

Literally all is just perfect!

Gorgeous check-in area, wonderful attention from front desk staff. Got some great recommendations and a glass of manzanilla to taste! Room was stunningly beautiful — minimalistic but royally comfortable. Completely silent indoors, despite the bustling streets outside. Just a gorgeous home away from home!

With such picturesque, narrow streets, it’s challenging to drop off luggage upon arrival. Every single other thing about this place is over-the-top wonderful.

The breakfast was good, it was not buffet like in most hotels. They staff prepared what you requested, with a lot of possibilities to choose from!

There was one thing which the hotel could not do anything about really, there were a lot of mosquitos outside on the patio (this time of the year or weather related?)...

This ranks as one of my favorite hotel stays ever. The facility underwent a major renovation in 2020 and the designer who led the project was a genius. They retained many 300-year-old details, like the floor tiles and the shutters, but updated the amenities beautifully. Walking in felt like entering a spa. The staff were also equal to the best I've ever met: outgoing, knowledgeable, efficient. And the owners, Belen and Paco, went out of their way to meet us and pour us a sherry on the house, clearly proud of what they've built.

Excellent room, very well designed and light and spacious. Reformation of old buildings is difficult, and this was expertly done. Public areas also beautiful and provide different seating options and books! Great location, 5 mins walk to main plaza with lots of restaurants.

Bed was far too hard for me and I had to fold up the quilts and sleep on those to soften the mattress. We forgot a couple of small cards and when we rang they said they would post them. A week later someone said they had to go to the post office to find out how much and we could transfer the money and they would send! Way too hard, and with the outrageous prices charged in the bar, what is the cost of one local letter! Shame for an otherwise beautiful place.
