This place is beautiful. Away from hustle and bustle, and it actually felt a little cooler than down in Uluwatu itself. It has lovely spacious separate huts overlooking the pool and perfectly manicured gardens. We loved that there was a kitchen there so we could order food if we didn't want to venture out. The chef is so lovely and friendly. He makes the best banana pancakes for breakfast. This place is a 3 to 5 min Gojek ride to the main areas, we paid around $5aud each way to get around, or you could rent a scooter for a few days. Uluwatu is quite hilly which we didn't expect. These villas were great value for money.

We were up in arms about this place. We loved the grounds, staff, food, pool, etc, but the beds! The beds are very uncomfortable. They are hard and they are extremely creaky when you get in and out or roll over etc. The beds are wooden but the base has a thin piece of old ply wood which is so noisy. I could hear the people in the next villa actually get into bed, get up around 3 for the bathroom and then get back into bed. Their bed creakyness woke me up. At night, there is also a lot of traffic noise from afar, surprisingly. It is great value for money, and if the bed issue doesn't worry you, it's the perfect place to stay.

The room is nice, big bed, with mini fridge and a big semi outdoor bathroom - with lots of insects and snails compared to other locations ( it didn't mind us but just fyi) . Good breakfast options. .

The location of the villas is the least nice we stayed in Bali. It's not a good area for families at least. You cannot walk around, as there are lots of not so friendly dogs on the streets nearby , and also nothing nice to see around .. There arent good restaurants in the Uluwatu area , at least not as in the other places we have visited while in Bali .

The staff were amazing, they went above and beyond every time and were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good too! They also provided a very clean baby cot for our 10 month old baby, and it even came with a mosquito net!

Nothing much, may not be the best choice for people with young babies but the staff and the people there really made our stay a very enjoyable one. The walls are a bit thin though but that's not their fault, and when we complained they made sure to speak to the couple next door.

Really friendly and accommodating staff- they helped us rent a scooter too. The hotel is on a quiet side street just 5-10 minutes drive from a lot of restaurants and cafes in Uluwatu. The landscaping once you pass reception is very nicely done and well maintained. The room is fairly basic but the bathroom was quite spacious and looked better than the room. Daily housekeeping is done promptly. Breakfast starts at 8 am which is earlier than at other places we stayed at.

The reception area looks a bit tacky and run down which gives a poor first impression of the place (even though once you pass reception, the landscaping inside is lovely). Breakfast is average. Staff uniforms were a bit shabby and looked like they could use an upgrade (again contributing to poor first impressions). Overall felt it was a bit expensive for what we got- we spent less for much better properties in other parts of Bali!

I loved this place soo much. The rooms are bright, cosy, really clean and spacious. I liked the indoor/outdoor toilet as you can hear the sounds of nature. The garden with the pool is beautiful and well maintained. The staff are really lovely and helpful. The whole place has a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. I wish I had more time to stay longer. The breakfast is great and can be had in the restaurant or ordered to the room. They also do lunch and dinner which we enjoyed and have a scooter rental and laundry service.

I loved everything

When we arrived, the staff helped us with the luggage and checkin. Bukal Sari has a super nice garden with pool, and the villas are located around the pool. The neighbourhood seemed like a quiet area. Our villa was super clean and room service was done every day with fresh towels. The restaurant has plenty of options to choose from for breakfast, lunch, and dinner including fresh fruit juices. The WiFi was also very fast. The staff was super friendly, helpful and polite. I am going to miss them!

We didn't find anything that we didn't like. Everything was perfect!

I had an amazing stay here. If you’re looking for a peaceful location in Uluwatu, this is definitely the place to be. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make you feel welcome. The pool area is fantastic, and they’re very flexible with any requests you may have. I loved it so much that I ended up extending my stay four times!

Honestly, there’s nothing that disappointed me during my stay. Everything was absolutely great!

Perfect location, not too far from the main road, the beach and all the cute restaurants and cafes in Uluwatu. The staff was ever so helpful and always with a smile. The rooms were always clean and air conditioned. Beautiful views around the property and beautiful pool.

I wish there was a tv in the rooms and maybe a sofa for those lazy days you just want to chill in your room after a hectic day out. Breakfast could have had more options.

We had a lovely stay here for almost two weeks. The stuff are very friendly and helpful with everything, they really made us feel welcome. They were able to accommodate us since we were working remotely, by adding an extra table and chairs at our room for which we are very grateful! Plus, the Wi-FI was pretty good the whole time of our stay. The rooms a big, clean, with comfy beds and a semi-outdoor bathroom. They clean the rooms every day and you can choose to have your daily breakfast delivered to your room. They also provide free drinkable water and you can give them your water bottles to fill up. The outdoor space is also nice, with a big pool. They also provide scooters for rent which was very convenient, even-though they are not in the best condition. The location of the hotel is very good, it is 8min walk from the main street, but secluded enough to be peaceful and quiet which we loved. Overall, we had a great time here and we would come back!

They can benefit from having (more) vegan options on the menu. The facilitated our needs for the breakfast, but some more options for the restaurant will make it much better. The rooms don't have the best sound insulation so if you stay in the ones that share a wall, you will probably hear people talking. Also, a small thing, but since it was quite hot the pool would also get quite warm, to the point where it wasn't that enjoyable anymore.

The pancakes were a particular highlight!The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, with a big semi-open bathroom that adds to the overall luxurious feel. However, the true highlight of Bukal Sari is the stunning swimming pool area. Surrounded by lush palm trees and greenery, the pool offers a tranquil oasis where you can unwind and relax.One of the best things about Bukal Sari is its intimate atmosphere. As a small hotel, it's never crowded, especially around the pool area, allowing for a truly peaceful experience. Despite its secluded feel, the hotel is conveniently located just a short bike ride away from Uluwatu's main cafes, restaurants, yoga, and gym studios.Overall, I cannot recommend Bukal Sari enough. Whether you're looking for a relaxing retreat or a base to explore Uluwatu, this hotel is the perfect choice.
