Kayu Mama was a blissful experience. The staff is amazing, the location is great and the Forage restaurant has good food. It's a place to unwind and relax. It's only a 10 minute scooter ride to find the busy shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Very minor ones. The bungalow was a bit on the smaller side and only had one accessible power point. The pool, while 90% amazing, could do with a few touch ups, the stairs have a few sharp points from erosion / missing stones and I cut my shin. Mattress was very hard.

The location is serene and quite, yet very close to the main drag. The room and bathrooms are big and clean. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful.

Wish they could change the towels at least 2 - 3 days once. We were there for 5 days and by the 3rd day we had to request for clean towels. Also the owner is quite grumpy but he is lucky enough to get good staff to compensate.

I really liked this place! From the moment I arrived, I immediately felt a sense of peace. Even with Uluwatu’s stressful streets, this spot is tucked away on a quieter road where you can relax. The owner and all the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. You could sense, that they enjoyed working there. I also loved the owner’s dog! The owner was so thoughtful - he even drove me to my next hotel nearby, which I really appreciated.

Truly such a joy! 🫶🏼 We enjoyed a delightful stay at Kayu Mama for three nights. The pool was the perfect spot to unwind, our cabin was cosy and the outdoor bathroom was a beautiful place to connect with nature. The food at the onsite restaurant was a real highlight. Being dairy free was incredibly easy with plenty of vegan options available, all mouth wateringly good! A high quality dining experience, easily one of the best places we ate at during our stay in Bali. Service was top tier, all of the staff were friendly and accomodating. We also enjoyed rejuvenating massages and a facial during our stay, which we’d highly recommend! 💆🏼‍♀️ Overall the resort had been planned so well, from layout, to furnishings, to food and the small considerations that made our lives easier. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would be back in a heartbeat… thank you so much Kayu Mama family 🥰

the location is very peaceful and yet close to all the main attractions. Staff is very friendly and polite. Design of the resort is excellent and very green The cafe is made completely of wood and serves great food and drinks. The owner lent me his own bike because my rented bike could only be delivered the next morning.

Just about EVERYTHING!!!! It was the perfect quiet getaway and we felt very very welcome. Very new place, well taken care of, great Flora. 10 Min to get to nearly every beach. Their restaurant is absolutely great and the staff was magnificent, they were always around when needed, but gave you the most privacy. Recommend their Bali Bliss Bowl for breakfast and the Eggplant Burrata. The father of the owner was around, he was super friendly, drove us to the closest Temple, gave us the necessary Sarungs to wear, lent his scooter to us, gave us some hints. They even organized a private dinner on the upper floor for our engagement. Close to there is our favorite Warung(Boga Sari). You will not regret going to the inland instead of the coast, it was the best choice we made. Very authentic, very Bali, just perfect! We’ll be back.. 🙂

There was nothing!

Beautiful property and rooms. So much accommodation- welcome drinks, honeymoon bed display, greeting as you entered and left the property. Everything was perfect!

there was a lot of geckos outside and boy are they LOUD kept us ip some nights, but outside of the hotels control.

This was the most perfect stay and the staff were so helpful with everything. During our stay i got sick and the owner gave us a ride to the nearest clinic, they were extremely caring and sought after our needs during our stay. We will definitely be back our next time in Bali.

We stayed in the antique traditional Javanese “bridal suite”, although it was very dark inside it was absolutely beautiful. All the bungalows are set in pretty gardens and the pool area was nice. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant outstanding quality food. A lovely way to end our holiday.

A peaceful haven away from the hustle and traffic of uluwatu but close enough to ride into town when needed. The sauna and steam room were an added bonus!
