Genuine Bali experience: friendly, local, great service.

There is nothing not to like. One taxi driver said it was like we were living in the jungle, and yes perfect away from day to day madness, but with our little motorcycle close to all the buzz.

Lovely hotel! Located in a quite street but only 5 minutes away from the streets eith shops and restaurants! The staff was very friendly too! We enjoyed the pool alot and spent a day there! They had a wide variety of food on their menu for lunch and breakfast!

You really feel at one with nature with all the lush greenery around

The bathroom/toilet can get a little stuffy with the humidity but not a major negative

I moved from another hotel in Binging because even this one is a little bit “outside” of main area, that is in fact a GOOD thing. Currently in Uluwatu are many construction in the area of Bingin and is impossible to relax by the pool. I was thinking it was a good idea as I could walk everywhere but is super dangerous with bikes going up the tiny or non existing pathways. So in Onaya they drive you with the Free Shuttle and help you renting a motorbike if needed. And most of the most important spots are 5-10 min driving. Also they book you the spa, dinners 🫣 bring you food to the pool just by texting in the WhatsApp group, super easy peasy and convenient, we felt like anywhere we stayed before. We will be back for sure

Everything was perfect, the staff always welcomes you when you arrive and make sure you’re taken care of anytime, the breakfast options are really good (my favorite was Uncle Benny), the chauffeur service was available every time I need it (it depends on how many people are staying but my experience was great). Even though the beach isn’t walking distance it is very centric, almost all beaches are within 5km. Will definitely stay here again, speacial thanks to Debby and Agung for their attention <3

It has a very well designed pool - perfect for photoshoots. The landscape architecture was great. The landscape was well-maintained. A very good balance of modern and tradition. It was a nice abode away from the bustling Uluwatu. The staff were all great, kind and very thoughtful. They have curated their own butler service by creating a what’s app chat, in which you could enquire just about anything, arrangement for pick ups and drop offs. A great shout out to the reception and bram - who is Onaya’s local driver used for guest airport transfers. His rates were very affordable. The breakfast was great, tasty and healthy. Done very simply and hits the spot. They do their best to remember your name and try as much as possible to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Very good hospitality.

For females, there was not enough space/shelving to put cosmetics, make up (in general toiletries) in the washrooms. If you’re fuss free and travel light, it shouldn’t be a problem.

The staff are so attentive, caring, and punctual that nothing is a problem. The secluded resort is a bit out of town, but that's not a problem because they offer a free chauffeur service to get you to most places in Uluwatu.

The only thing was the vanity was all mouldy & really needs replacing

I stayed at Onaya Hotel with my sister and we absolutely loved it! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—they really made us feel welcome and cared for. One thing we really appreciated was the free driver service within 5km—it made getting around so easy and convenient. The food at the hotel is amazing! Even the restaurant staff were always so kind and attentive, constantly checking if we were happy and comfortable. It made every meal feel special. The location is perfect—close to many beautiful beaches, but still peaceful and relaxing. The whole place has such a calm and cozy vibe. I truly fell in love with this hotel and would 100% come back again. Highly recommend it!

What a fantastic place! We loved our stay at Onaya, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The hotel is immaculate, we felt very welcome, and we enjoyed the yummy breakfasts every morning. The room was amazing, so cosy, and a wonderful bathroom. Felt very close to nature here, and a lot of work has gone into the garden/pool area. The hotel is located 5-10 minutes outside of the hustle and bustle of the town, and we loved coming back here every night. Felt like coming home to our private resort. It was easy to nip back to the hotel after a day's surfing and then head out to the restaurants in the evening. Very close to all the sights. We hired one of the hotel's motorcycles and visited almost all of the beaches of the west coast of Uluwatu. If you don't want to ride a motorcycle, you can easily get a grab-around or use the hotel's shuttle service. So glad we chose this place for our 4-day stay, only wish we had longer!

Onaya never disappoints, this is my second time staying at this accommodation, and it’s truly beautiful. This time I stayed in the suite, but I have to say that the bathrooms in the non-suite villas seem nicer to me, with materials that better match the environment and surroundings of all the villas. Still, the suite serves its purpose well, being spacious and roomy. On the other hand, the staff are, as always, very friendly and absolutely top-notch!

The bathroom floor was tiled, not stone, and it was slippery, you had to walk carefully since the bathtub is located there and water can make it easy to slip. Additionally, there’s a tree right above the bathtub, so we often found the tub dirty and had to clean it before using it. Also, the bathtub is so large that you couldn’t rest your head on the edges because you’d slip inside and sink. That would be the downside of this suite.
